I have fancied Dortmund since the start but Bayern would beat them if they meet.

Champions League winners elect romping to a 9-2 win. Pete did you happen to watch this?
-
Calderwood just seems to fit into the unpopular type like Jim Jefferies and Craig Levein, yet he's always done well where he has went. He'd not be my first pick but he certainly wouldnt be my last either. But if he ever became Gers boss Id look at it as a glass half full situation.
-
Probably wouldnt have done it had St Mirren not knocked them out in the semi
-
Only one of them will unfortunetely. Can see Sunderland going down. Id say Reading and QPR have gone. Wigan are picking up points again. Sunderlands remaining games are tough: Chelsea (A) Newcastle (A) Everton (H) Aston Villa (A) Stoke (H) Southampton (H) Tottenham (A) Villa: Liverpool (H) Stoke (A) Fulham (H) Man Utd (A) Sunderland (H) Norwich (A) Chelsea (H) Wigan (A)

I think he gave the players a feel good factor in his first 10 games then once everything had settled it went back to normal and the standard of squad is poor. As you say not the best club, only a fantastic stadium but everything else is boring.
-
If he brings in 10 John Dalys I'll be gomsmacked. He cant be allowed to do that. Would like to see Bocanegra back, he'd sort the defence out. Some of the descriptions of the title celebration is a far. You'd think they won the SPL. I get the emotional side of things and would agree after the tough spell they went through last year then they could celebrate that but they cant be excited about winning the league on the footballing side as its been awful recently.

Ally has been coming away with some poor statements about form but he is bang on when it comes to this topic. He should be spokesman and have a place upstairs. Its refreshing to know Ally is on the same wave length as fans on this, I like his morales.

Stage 1 complete. It could have been a lot prettier but job is done.
-
I would take Calderwood at the moment. I like Anchormans idea of Numan and Laudrup working with them also.

Clubs must focus on current proposal - Neil Doncaster

Somebody please put this man on a one way ticket to the north pole. Let him run the local football up there. Now that Rangers have wrapped up the Div 3 title I expect something to be pushed through as there is now no danger of Rangers being in a play off spot which is what they were probably waiting for. They can screw the play off sides in Div 3 and 2 for their own pocket. -
No worries chief. Its just nice to have a thread prepared for the match discussion.
-
Its not lack of experience, its lack of tactical knowledge and not being good enough on the park.
-
You could have 8 strikers but you would still play 1 upfront and another on the right wing. All season at least 2 strikers have been available and AM has played 1 upfront.
-
That one hasnt worked out since day one. His signings were poor. They have more tough fixtures coming up so could go down.
-
Stepped in today for STB with a brieft preview as it wasnt posted on match day 8am GMT for a 12pm kick off
-
Doesnt take much logic to realise pushing it to start in 3-4 months time is a bit soon and unorganised. Not to mention unfair.
-
Yup including Ian Durrant

Its a bit of a catch 22. Sign a decent standard of players to get us up the leagues but when we get there we cant be sitting 3rd-11th and just fitting in. This is where planning from the management (Green down) have to have a plan in place. Likes of Sandaza on a 4 year deal is crazy.
-
I should add are we aiming for mediocrity? When we eventually do get to the SPL we want to use funds to bring in much better quality. If we go down this route of Daly, Davidson and others already mixed with what we have we are digging a big hole again for ourselves. We will have a large wage bill.
-
Platini needs to jog on. I dont like anything he has done in his job. His ruining the Euros by playing it in multi countries, ruling out goal mouth tech amoungst others. This topic doesnt have anything to do with him at this stage.
-
Aberdeen can have him. Im getting concerned about the number if incoming average SPL players we are being linked with. They will go on 3-4 year deals and buy that time we will be in the SPL again with a squad full of players who arent good enough to challenge for the title.

Scottish Football League clubs split 50/50 on league reconstruction timing

The play off teams should fight against the change from every angle. -
Your right there. 79 pts and +62 goal difference at this stage. 9 pts and 11 goals better off than us. Just shows its consistancy that counts.
