I cant work out why deals like this cant be agreed and are more based on performance and playing bonuses. Give him a lower basic then he makes more on clean sheets and performances. If we have Bell coming in it gives players an incentive to play and he'll work harder to keep his place. He's been a good servant, was a fine back up to McGregor then cemented his place as No.1 and didnt run away like others at the sign of trouble. Im not convinced Bell will be a top Ibrox keeper. The standard of signings isnt good enough long term but we are in a catch 22 situation imposed by the SPL. It is 55 Titles what ever way you look at it. Titles = how many leagues you win. Scottish Titles remain at 54. Thats the number we count. When we when the SPL again (and we will) it will be 55+1

If its Div 2 as it is this season then yes. If the 12-12-18 goes through and we are in the 2nd 12 then I wonder what expectations are. Does anyone realistically believe we will win the 2nd group of 8? Currently that would include Dundee Utd and Hearts and we already seen how far behind Dundee utd we are now.

This situation has just gone beyond embarrassing. Ive got a feeling we hold the ACE card. They can push through whatever system they want but if we dont join to an SPL 2 then it collapses. I hope we stick to our guns and tell them to jog on unless its on our terms.
