Gascoigne behind Souness. Is that a plane they are in though? I can see the windows at the right side. -

CG - The players dream of a free punch at me........
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Ive been a fan of Green since day 1 but this week has raised some alarm bells. I do like his no nonsense and honesty most of the time but this article doesnt sit comfortable with me. I do agree with him about the team though, it is the worst Ive ever seen It could partly be down to the manager not having a clue though. -
When he makes his debut out of position then we dont see him again I'll believe he's signed

Its a shake up from top to bottm that is needed. This week feels like 1 step forward 20 steps back. Phase one complete winning Div 3 then the nonsense from Whyte v Green plus off field sackings in Sandaza and Murray. WTF is going on! Ally is right, no fan deserves this now after what we have pulled the club through. If there is fat cats trying to get a sneaky penny out of the club at genuine fans expense then heads should roll.

I think with the title wrapped up the players will play with more freedom and we could get a 3-0 win. Had the title not been won id be going for 0-0. Of all the top performances at Hampden in the big open pitch we've had over the years it would be nice to get a good one today to cheer everyone up with the off field stuff taking headlines again this week. Hope there is a decent crowd also, cant see there being 33000 again like the last time we played Queens Park but even 12000 would be a boost for Queens Park

Something new every day from these clowns at the moment. I didnt even know this issue was resolved and thought Green was still pushing for transfer fees.
-
Green would only have himself to blame if he is trying to get Ally the sack. He has said 100 times that he wouldnt sack Ally. That was a mistake from day 1. His most recent interview on Talksport he said Ally will be judged by results like the rest of us, that is what he should have said first time around.

I am not sure why the Semi final draw wasnt made at the same time as the quarters, they usually do this on the same day. I prefer it when they do each draw after each round though. But perhaps they are waiting to see who gets through then the old sticky balls will come out to try make it an El Clasico final. But agree Bayern and Dortmund will have a lot to say about that and I wouldnt bet against 1 or both of them being in the final.

I do see that view also, but if nobody fights back then the Scottish game goes even further backwards for the next 3-4 years with this 12-12-18. That is going to go through and it will be stuck there. Even the fans of all clubs dont want it. TV contracts wont get signed with no Rangers so we should make a stronger stance.

I cant work out why deals like this cant be agreed and are more based on performance and playing bonuses. Give him a lower basic then he makes more on clean sheets and performances. If we have Bell coming in it gives players an incentive to play and he'll work harder to keep his place. He's been a good servant, was a fine back up to McGregor then cemented his place as No.1 and didnt run away like others at the sign of trouble. Im not convinced Bell will be a top Ibrox keeper. The standard of signings isnt good enough long term but we are in a catch 22 situation imposed by the SPL. The come back may take longer than expected as when we get back to the top flight we're going to have a squad of decent youngsters and average SPL standard players. Thats why our coaching staff needs to be stronger and better to develop players more and get every % of talent out of the experienced players.

Sacking is over the top and as Dan says it was an opportunity to cut him. During the phone call he repeatedly said he wanted to do things properly and not behind Rangers back. He was obviously in a weakened position and is talking in his 2nd language. Players probably get calls like this from real agents else I fail to see how he even spoke back to the club. The caller should get done for fraud. He said a few times he was friends with Willie Mckay?

I was at that Scotland v England game, way too young at the time to remember / appreciate who was on display

After first leg PSG 2-2 Barcelona. Bayern 2-0 Juventus Malaga 0-0 Dortmund Real Madrid 3-0 Galatasaray Barca should cruise through now, can see them hitting PSG early in the Nou Camp and that will finish the tie. Bayern still have a bit of work to do, Juve could repeat the score at home but Id say Munich are through. Evenly poised now both teams have to go for it and score, if Malaga score then Dortmund need 2. Would fancy the Germans at home though. Real are through. I find this quarter final line up refreshing with no English side in it for once. I usually like to see Man Utd and Arsenal in the CL but good to see this teams.

Lets have the table then.
-
Just change it to 54+1andcantcount.

Obviously wasnt Barry Ferguson posting....

Find Neil Murray for negligence and sack Cribari, Faure and Argy for being imposters and we can easy keep them. Bocanegra back would arguably be the biggest signing of the season. How good would he be!!! Does Davie Weir fancy another year??? He could stroll it. Goian - decent, bit of a poor mans Bert Konterman so far. Would take him as long as he doesnt have to defend. Gova

It is 55 Titles what ever way you look at it. Titles = how many leagues you win. Scottish Titles remain at 54. Thats the number we count. When we when the SPL again (and we will) it will be 55+1
-
The Rangers fans will speak again. "Jog on SPL." We go back on fair terms...end of story.
-
A top man who transfered his contract over...will be remembered as our keeper this historic season. He should stay on as Id rather him than Bell. If not all the best.

Id not be mate. And you know my ambitions for Rangers. Im all for giving a chance like McLeish and McCoist but both were failures, although Id draw the line at Craig Levein, if he goes near Ibrox 300 fans should make sure its to the TV boxes only!! Calderwood is 2 steps ahead of them in management terms and would do better for me. I seriously wish we'd wake up tomorrow with 2020 ambitions and appoint a quality technical coach for the future.....

Stage one complete! That was my words other day briefly as we 'scrapped over the line'. Ally wear a T-shirt saying this as if it mission accomplished. Stage 1 is complete but the modifcations required for Stage 2 is scary!

Chelsea into the Semi's again. Their FA cup record of late is brilliant. 4 wins in the last 6 years.
