I really cant find a criticism in CG at all to date. OP is a valid point that I hadnt considered. If the Murray Park was used to its max potential and the management team had done a fresh start in the way we played through the leagues by using the younger ones mixed with the current experienced players then we would only have to add 1 or 2 going through the leagues then by the time the SPL comes around again we'd have a nice pot to spend on good players. We are wasting money on the likes of Kevin Kyle and John Daly regardless if its only signing on fees and wages.

Whats concerning is the SFL coming out with statements like "we dont know whether we will go with 12-12-18 or invite 2 more clubs to make it 12-12-10-10". The SFL hold so much cards at the moment and should be pushing for what they want.

TBH Ive always found Provan is more balanced minded than a lot of others, he always tends to be fair and read a game how he see's it. But disagree with him here, we shouldnt be fast tracked nowhere to save the SPL. We'll come back through the leagues like we've chosen. Without an apology, the transfer embargo being dropped, Euro ban dropped and money owned to 'old club' not paid then I fail to see how we'd even entertain the idea of entertaining the SPL. And even then league recontruction to suit all 42 clubs and fans would have to be on the table first with Rangers being invited to discuss.

Nothing wrong with writing a book at all. If its done in his own time then he is correct in keeping the profits, the book is his FFS. If he sells his own car should the club get profits from that also? Cant expect the man to walk away with the same amount he put in. He is a businessman, he has done wonders for the club and is entitled to make profits from whatever angle. Nobody is forced to buy it. Plus why not do it now rather than wait maybe 2 or 5 years time, because he isnt exactly a spring chicken. Everything in his mind about the SFA and SPL is still fresh. And why not release it early to let Regan and Doncaster panic, they may leave in the next year or so and head back down south with a nice pay out, so if the book comes out and shows them up to what they are then Im all for it. Wasnt all this a case of punishment before being done with anything?
