Its all park of Allys tactics, its not going to be used, it will be parked infront of the goalposts

The tragedy with that figures is Nike have slaves working in their Cambodian factory for $50 / month making these things for them, and thats one of the better paid jobs. But they can pay 'superstars' millions to wear their logo. Utter sickening.

Scottish / British Transfer talk Summer 2013

McGregor could do better than Hull, when you see Liverpool signing Mignolet. But good signing for Steve Bruce. -
Id be happy if we got Berra. Easily good enough for SPL never mind Div2.

John Gow - Rangers have big squad, so what will the starting XI be?
Gribz replied to 54andcounting's topic in Rangers Chat
I think it would be harsh on Andy Little to not be a starter next season. Competition for places is there now and the likes of Hutton, Black and Shiels have it all to do to convince everyone they should play. But Peralta is another who will be pushing for a place. I like Wallace at LB, not sure if he can be a out and out winger....Templeton should be LM for me. I think we should be looking more at 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 this season but the signings of Foster and Smith say that 4 at the back will be played. -
This I agree with. It should have been the worst team ever as per Calscot's argument (CG said this also and got slated but I see his point) but after getting a squad together and being full time with the facilites we have the only thing we should have saw is improvement but the product on the park was awful at times and it wasnt a one off. This would have been understandable early in the season when none of the player knew each other and the squad was wafer thin.

Tevez to Juventus for 12.5m Good signing for Juve. Tevez is a good player on his day but his sulking at Man City was terrible. -
What is with this kwiff hair-doo's of combing it all over to 1 side and looking like a smackhead. That Chesterfield dude fits right into the Dundee picture on Page 1. Colchester shirt a bit neater and the single stripe on that controversial collar helps rather than 2 or 3.
-
Couldnt agree more, maybe even 2 classes above! Davie Robertson is up there with Numan for the LB role in my all time best Gers XI.
-
Nothing wrong with those tops at all. I like them.
-
If Gordon can get near to what he was pre-injury then Id have him in their instantly. I think he'd grow in confidence playing at Ibrox. He was top notch on his day. But 14 months out is long and if he's had injuries with arms and fingers then that is where keepers will maybe struggle. Foster was an honest hard worker and a new Alec Cleland. I think he'd be a handy signing for 2 seasons.

I share the concerns however attracting quality players to Div 2 is mission impossible so the next best option is experienced SPL level players who can get us up the leagues. Im ok with that so long as they arent on big and long contracts so when we are a top flight club again we can improve. And Im also OK with it if Ally improves the players we have. We'll wait and see on that one.

I wonder if those training tops are temporary until the real ones are made. I cant work out why nothing has been released by now.

Nice words from Hemmings as he prepares to find a new club
Gribz replied to SteveC's topic in Rangers Chat
Good luck to Hemmings, hope he does well at his next club. Has bags of ability but just needs to be fit. -
Yip agreed. The people who do get my sympathy are the tealadys, kitmen etc at Tynecastle who are out of a job.

Becoming a habit. Hughes, Rae.....now Wylde Shame Wylde's career has went the way it has. I thought he was promising when playing for Gers and a good direct winger, although he still had a bit to work on. -
Hearts knew the situation they could / would be in months ago. Why didnt they think about hosting a tournament with 2 decent English sides and inviting Rangers back then.
-
Last season he may not have had the time to develop some of the youngsters although I personally dont think the coaching team is near strong enough to improve them other than their own natural ability to improve. That is disappointing. The likes od Durrant's comments were also disappointing saying these players need to realise what its like playing for Rangers and handle the pressure. Whilst that is true there is ways going about it rightly. A few of them were thrown in with no option due to injuries and squad size so not all of them are going to be stars. If we get 2-4 are first teams we'd be doing a good job.

VIDEO: Gus Poyet sacked as Brighton manager live on TV
Gribz replied to Steve1872's topic in General Football Chat
Its very poor. It should always be done face to face or at least by phone in pre season to the man first regardless. -
I mentioned on another thread I am hoping it is like the Italian kit. That is tidy!
-
Its doing a pretty good job self destructing itself from what I see. Can only be so long before that becomes the view.

Not with the right set up. The Championship in England blows your sentence away. And League 1 for that matter. Both went to the last day at all ends and created immense drama. So get the right formula into what we have.
-
Rab, your usually spot on but not here. We made 9 good friends season in Div 3 and will make another 8 this season in Div 2 with the exception of Dunfermline. Its not about us making friends, its about them making it up to us. No way are crawling up the ass of anyone else. The likes of Killie, Motherwell etc will be mended at the right time when we play them.
-
EVen looking at it from our playing side. We've got our own season to prepare for. Dont let the minds of the players wonder. We've got a trip up north to play Broar then Elgin then a few German sides. Thats exactly what we need. We dont need an emotional cup final for no reason. Who knows what the cup draw will bring. Jog on Hertz.
