Bob Wilson having a go but id have said much more like he has never built anything, and never won anything without a cheque book. No wonder Man Utd didn't want him.

Glad to see Jose Mourinho getting brought back to earth. His comments are beginning to get boring and as Arsenal probably wont win the league I hope City do it. City have grown on me this season, I didn't like them under Mancini but Pellegrini has come in and bought professionalism to the club and a much better brand of football. It would be nice to see him get 1 over Mourinho.

Unfortunately wouldn't make an April date, Im not over until May 15. It would have been good to meet a number of you on here. Ive not met anyone on here for 10 years since I saw Frankie at the Porto game in 2004. In saying that I met Eightball a few years ago when he was on holiday here.

Agreed, quite possibly the worst player ive ever seen

Should be a good game, Arsenal will come out blazing trying to rid last weeks game out them but I see Liverpool riding the storm and winning this game. Arsenal are running on empty now and I can see them slipping away. I think they will end up 4th in the league now. With Bayern coming up in Wed its going to be a long week for gooners. Hope they prove me wrong but the failure to sign in January is the problem unless Sanago is an instant hit upfront.

I quite like Merson as a pundit, he calls it as he see's it but I do watch the soccer Saturday review on the website and his mispronunciations are becoming tiresome. Ive just bought his book 'how not to be a professiona footballer', 1 chapter is - don't move in with Gazza, so looking forward to reading it.

Hullo Hullo We are the Billy Boys Hullo Hullo You'll know us by our noise We'll give anything to see our team at Ibrox or away Coz we are the brigton derry boys Someone want to tell me whats illegal about that?

Can someone please explain to me why we don't sing this greatest anthem anymore The "authorities" (define them) have said we cant so we follow like sheep. It is legally proofable (is that a word) that this isn't a bigoted or sectarism song....so say lets start a campagn to bring back our anthem. If it means missing a word then so be it....but they cant ban 1 and not for another Hullo Hullo

Former Rangers star Madjid Bougherra looks for Ibrox return

Hoofing player....bring him back -
I'll give you Fergusons biggest while Im no.2 there, but Im claiming to be Boyd's biggest critic. But it is refreshing to see him mature and do well for Kilmarnock this season. Its probably what he needed. Going overseas and down south obviously opened his eyes up. I still stand by that he wasn't good enough in the bigger games for Rangers.

I would still fancy us as joint favourites as the moment for 2 reasons. 1) The kind Quarter final draw means we should reach the semi's. 2) The semi is at Ibrox. Looking at the FA cup this weekend you wouldn't say the top 3 in England right now are FA cup favourites - Id put Liverpool and Everton up there with Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal due to the draw plus the CL coming up so its not always the highest league positioned teams who are favourites.

Ally should be throwing the younger ones in now to get them first team experience so they have had plenty first team action before moving up the leagues when the fixtures get harder, shocking decision! Is Ally is going for an unbeaten league season more than planning long term!!
-
Plenty reasons to give some players a rest and get them 100% to have a good go at the cup.

Went to same school as me but obviously not at the same time as he is 11 years my elder, but certainly one of my old favourites.

Selangor and Shah (Not Sham) Alam are equivalent of Falkirk at best.

How old is Boyd now anyway? This season for Killie is the first time I have seen him look in decent shape for a professional footballer. He seems to finally have grasped that you need a certain fitness level. He looks to have turned the extra pounds into muscle and looks right a right handful. Ive seen a few of his goals and he has taken them well. But we have to remember he is playing in a poor Killie team in a poor league. From the biggest Boyd critic on the planet I think he'd slightly improve the team at the moment so long as he played upfront with Shiels and Templeton who could do all the work for him. He'd give a bigger presence at the moment. But Id say its too late in the day to re-sign him.

And the chances of that happening are?? This just gives teams especially in the SPFL a safety if they are going to spend. The tail is wagging the dog in the SPFL.

Cant believe I woke up at 3am for that shower. It had 0-0 on it after 5 minutes which is very disappointing. Both sides were poor. Arsenal going forward never got people in the box and every short low pass was never complete. They really miss Walcott. Starting with 5 central midfielders is their problem. Arteta, Wilshire, Rosicky, Ozil and Cazorla all prefer to play through the middle, I thought the game was screaming out for Podolski. Man Utd were extremely poor. Every time Arsenal got the ball they were up against a banks of 4 and 5. Man Utd did defend well but that wasn't a Man Utd team on that pitch. Imagine Alex Ferguson lining up like that? Arsenals record against the top teams is going to cost them the title. I cant see them winning at Chelsea or beating Man City at home. Wenger needs to rest Giroud and Ozil. The failure to not bring in Draxler and Berbatov in January is now showing what a mistake it was, so what if he had to pay a wee bit more for Draxler. Berbatov would have fit into Girouds place in that game and probably have been the difference.

I'll be in UK in May so this could work for me!

Im having my worst season. Don't have a bet on this midweek games due to awful coupons lately.

Lee McCulloch feels his team could be on the verge of a special season
Gribz replied to SteveC's topic in Rangers Chat
The league is in the bag, we should win the Ramsdens, but its the Scottish Cup that should give the players fire in their belly now until the end of the season. Its something to play for and every player should raise their game now by 20%. Its certainly winnable. I personally didn't expect to even reach a Scottish cup final for a good few years yet but after last weekend there is a carrot dangling there for the team. But one game at a time, need to do the job against Albion then look forward to a semi at Ibrox. -
Peralta facing club v country dilemma if we reach Scottish Cup Final
Gribz replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
Im looking forward to seeing Peralta in the world cup to see what kind of player he is. So far Ive seen him in 1 match this season and didn't realise he was playing but he was on the right wing. -
Its a game that Man Utd aren't expected to win so I think that will play into their hands. They will have Mata, Rooney and Van Persie playing plus possibly Januzai so there is certainly goals in Man Utd. Arsenal will no doubt have all the possession early on but if they don't make goal scoring chance from it then I can see Utd winning. Huge game for the likes of Ozil, Wilshire and Giroud who have been quiet of late. They all need a performance. Wilshire needs to start calming down. He has talent but not for the first time this season on Saturday he was throwing the toys out of the pram when he lost the ball.

It sounds like a dream world cup to play it in the most successful country on the planet but like SC says they should have been ready. But FIFA should have stepped in 2 years ago. The host nation should be ready for the tournament 18 months before it starts so they could have a plan B in place. If they switch it now where would it go and how could you prepare in 3 months. The issues with stadia not being ready, stadia having structure accidents and worker deaths plus the mass rioting means it has to be in doubt. I am in agreement with the people of Brazil though. To build new hospitals for FIFA delegates, players and staff is disgusting when this should be on offer to their own people first. Some might say they will get the benefits after the tournament but a) the fact they built them for fat cats before the people isn't right and b) Brazil has a population of near 200 million therefore only a fraction of people will benefit. Where would they move it to though? I would say the best option would have to be USA. There would be more riots if they moved it!

I was thinking about that this morning, if we could provide the accounts it would be interesting. A wee run in the Europa cup would be wonders for progression long term. Bit of a pipe dream at the moment but certainly not impossible.
