  1. Poor lad that's unlucky. I was having a few flutters yesterday, had Espanyol to beat bottom team Almeria and they was leading for 80 mins, I had a chance to cash in but thought they couldn't lose at home only for Almeria to score twice. Same with PSG, had a single on them and they was winning 1-0, again could have cashed in and they drew 1-1. Happy with the Chelsea draw no bet win though, 12/5 was a cracking price for that.
  2. Lampard hit the nail on the head. You have to have both sides of the game to be successful - defensive and attacking when required. Chelsea was the better team when they met at Stamford bridge earlier in the season and played attacking then, now they had to come to Anfield where the home team are always attacking.
  3. I had them on draw no bet at 12/5.
  4. Come on City.....
  5. That was the best bounce of the season
  6. What a game...I was thinking of Michael Thomas then willian ran.....oh that is what football is all about. Brilliant
  7. Jose mourinho..........
  8. Wow.....Wenger and Pelligrini should have done it..stop Liverpool for 20 mins then they are there for taking. Their defence is shite. I have never celebrated a Chelsea goal like that before. Hope Chelsea win the league now.
  9. Good stuff Mourinho bar 1 player. Never heard of Kalas. Chelsea starting XI: Schwarzer; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Kalas, Cole; Lampard ©, Mikel, Matic; Salah, Ba, Schurrle
  10. Put it how you like, but doesn't anyone think its purely the financial side of things they want /need.
  11. Have to say after listening to a few interviews and posts on here I probably under rated Jardine as a player, I guess the ignorance of 'youth' having not seen him in action.
  12. That says it all, give us your money. King isn't that stupid. My thoughts were pretty much what Richard Keys said on Friday, the worst case scenario of going into a 2nd admin could mean DK comes in and picks it all up....its maybe 4 steps back and 1 forward but I am at loss at the moment how to see light at the end of this major tunnel.
  13. I'll second that (not having a beer with them ) but naming and shaming. I attended the first Gersnet meet up early 2005 and had the pleasure of meeting: Frankie, CammyF, Bmck, Jimll, Eightball, Smalce and Im sure I have missed 1 or 2 out. After that I met up again with Gazza8 before a game and Eightball came and had a nightout on me here, plus met Frankie again to pass a ticket over. Pretty sure there is 1 or 2 others also that I missed out. However it does feel I know some other posters personally even though ive never met them and look forward to meeting more in the future especially Whosthedado as your guaranteed a hot blonde for the night. Here's to 11 years on the best forum around  That calls for the first of the weekend.
  14. Sounds like an enjoyable evening all round. Glad everyone who attended enjoyed it. Disappointing not to get to it but my one trip to UK a year has to be when the temperature gets above 14oC.
  15. Fulham throwing away that lead. And its probably kept Aston Villa who are in freefall in the league. With Swansea safe and West Ham / Hull practically safe Villa were sucked right in it but I cant see 3 teams going above them. Norwich are gone, they wont get another win plus Fulham will feel that's it gone now although they do have win able games. Todays game Sunderland v Cardiff is a cracker. Im going for Sunderland.
  16. Need a Mourinho masterclass today! Cant see him playing his strongest XI but he still has Matic, Mikel, Lampard all available in midfield. Would love to see them go there and win.
  17. Staggering news. Just drafted over the 20 pages but it seems there is more questions than answers from this report. Where on earth can 67 million go. That makes the great train robbery look poor.
  18. Have a good day chaps. Had it been next month Id have came along and stood my hand.
  19. That's welcoming news as Calderwood has good knowledge of the Dutch Market. However the problem is Calderwood could recommend the next Bergkamp / Guillit / De Boer etc but if they come and are not trained and coached properly then they wont perform. They wont fit in playing dire football, then will be called flops and Calderwood will be a useless scout. Our structure needs changed on the playing side also from top to bottom. We had a chance to do this at the start of last season and even this season to put in a good footballing plan and take on promising 'footballers'. Instead we are doing it the ugly way and are now going into a league next season not confident of beating Raith, Falkirk and Hearts reserves.
  20. Very sad news and 65 is still not exactly an old age. I cant remember Jardine playing for Rangers and only remember him vaguely at Hearts.
  21. McCoist has shown he knows how to make players go backwards in careers so all Trevor Steven' good work would be undone. As it stands I wouldn't say no to McCall.
  22. And coaches.
  23. If its Nando's 1 for 1 leaflets then it shouldn't be a problem finding volunteers.
  24. A good read. The only thing is the Man Utd players have only just come in the door and will be there for 4 matches before a world class manager takes over. Whether he keeps any of the ex players on his coaching staff is yet to be seen. Any of the players mentioned above would be a decent shout to have a role at Ibrox but they would be playing under possibly the worst tactical manager we've ever seen so I don't know how they could fit in.
  25. Champions to 7th isn't acceptable and from Man Utds perspective top 4 is a must, I am not saying they deserve it but the owners would demand it. I had a sneaky feeling yesterday Mourinho would be in the running and I fancy it to be him even more so now.
