  1. Roger that, thanks mate. Strange about the 13 games I missed, Im sure I put a scores in a few of them.
  2. When you put your predications in and click save is there not supposed to be a tick that comes up or the box turn yellow? When I put in a score for the Brazil v Germany game nothing happened but when I changed the score to something else a tick came up and boxes went yellow? This seemed to happen earlier which is why I have only played 47 games rather than 60.
  3. Holland were very much in command with hitting the bar and post and a few sitters, but Costa Rica should have had a penalty late on. And Im sure I wasn't the only one jumping off the sofa hoping they would snatch it in extra time with that solo. That's some call by Van Gaal to make a keeper switch, bit of a kick in the nuts for his No.1 but I like to see managers have the balls to make changes at anytime in a game, he will be entertaining for Man Utd next season if nothing else. Thought Krul was an ass putting the Costa Rican players off, its all part of the game but I don't like to see it. Well done to Costa Rica for a good world cup, to win Group D alone was their achievement. Whatever the final now should be great but 2 rivals going at it would be the better match - Holland v Germany or Brazil v Argentina.
  4. Hearts in the league in the first game, Hibs v Hearts week 2, Rangers v Hibs first round of this cup.....the requirement for TV income must be incredible.
  5. Disappointing game, Argentina didn't look threatened and are crawling through games and doing enough, they could still peak yet. If Holland get through and play at pace they could get at Argentina. Belgium were poor and I expected a lot more, they went out on a bit of a whimper, they should have given it a real go in the 2nd half rather then just the last 5 mins. The semi finals will be really tasty if Holland get past Costa Rica. My predictor had an Argentina v Germany final and its on course.
  6. That was Colombia's first real test and they were caught out by a huge occasion. They had a reasonably easy group and then came up against Uruguay who was on the back of the Suarez mess. I thought they would get past Brazil but the Brazilian tempo was too much. With Neymar out of the tournament its advantage Germany in that semi. Look forward to the Argentina v Belgium game later. Its time for Messi and Co to step up.
  7. Yes and that was Guivarch's debut IIRC and he scored a few that day.
  8. I can see them getting past Brazil.
  9. I reckon you are still sauced mate. Belgium battered them for a while. USA could have nicked it in the 90th min though
  10. The old hot and cold balls might be in there to fix a Rangers v Hibs / Hearts draw early on for the TV's. Queen's Park home or away
  11. Last eight. Who's your favourite to go all the way. At least this way we aren't given away any score predictions for the league.
  12. Understand that but it wasn't so long ago they were a team in the lower ends of the English leagues
  13. It is mouth watering but Colombia, France and Belgium will have something to say about that. Id say only the Dutch are heavy favourites in their game, the others are very much in the balance.
  14. Belgium v USA was the best 0-0 over 90 mins Ive seen for a long time.
  15. Looks like its almost a done deal to Barca. Wouldn't surprise me if he did the bite on purpose to make his move out of Liverpool. I find it hard to believe 12 months ago he was wanting out and his stance has changed so dramatically over the course of a few months. If Liverpool get Sanchez plus cash then they should grab it.
  16. Wouldn't disagree with that, just a few glimpse of quality on occasion. Advocaats better signings - Mols, Van Bronkhurst and Klos. Tugay and Reyna were also class acts and unheard of. Klos may not have been signed had Charbonnier not got injured.
  17. Financially its a shame that Cardiff could blow us out the water. However if Cowie wants to continue his career for trophies and play for the biggest club in his country then he may opt for the move to ibrox.
  18. Wimbledon thread in lounge
  19. I didn't get round to doing any last season as I didn't get to see any games which isn't any use. But I intend in watching more this season if I can get coverage. So I will get involved once the season is underway, and I will step in for any last minute previews when required but I wont put my name on the list until season is up and running.
  20. Cowie would be a decent signing and would probably take the Championship by storm but with the trend of players that go down hill under McCoist he may end up looking average. But competition for places is only a good thing and Ally cant be scared to drop players this season. If he has Cowie, Black, Law, Hutton and Macleod all fighting for centre midfield places then he has to play the best 2-3 players by form.
  21. Was on the radio yesterday that he was on his way to Ibrox but told his dad to turn the car around as he wanted to concentrate on Tennis. Have seen him do some silky skills with the tennis ball so obviously had a bit of talent. TBH id rather have him at centre half than McCulloch next season
  22. A few quarter finals are looking tasty. Brazil v Colombia should be cracking as will France v Germany.
  23. Jumped from 2nd bottom to 6th in 4 games. If only I didnt forget the last round of group games Id be top.
