  1. Pleased for Advocaat. Sunderland are one of the more boring teams to watch but he has come in and done well. Still cant see how Hull can get out of this, yet I fancied them for a top 10 finish at the start of the season.

Sorry, I picked that one up wrong. I still think a move for McGregor would be good. He along with Alan Hutton were the 2 most improved players that came through Rangers in the last 15 years. First things first though, lets get promotion then look at the squad options.
  3. Haha...I actually did think of typing one up but didn't want to tread on someone elses toes. But I fancied getting the match debate going......
  4. West Ham finished the season in January. The only good thing for Hull is its Allardyce going back to St James and he will want to win there but the players aren't playing for him anymore so I can see Newcastle getting a point. Hull are gone IMO. They wont beat Man Utd

What has Steven Davis done more than McGregor on the pitch??? Id say Davis has been extremely lucky he was a club which is obviously being shined on from the heavens right now because they are well punching above their weight. But Davis hasn't been a stand out. McGregor has been hulls MOTM a few times. Yes we would love a young Andy Goram but we are not going to get that....I say bring Mcgregor in....he will be in his comfort zone and give us 2 solid years.....
  6. Just kept sunderland up...all be it a mighty disaster
  7. He has done the job at Sunderland.... If ever I liked a dick, its Advocaat Would love to him in charge at Ibrox again......has a Fergie aura about him.

Nah got to disagree with you there, yes ambitious with a bit of hunger in him and you cant blame him for trying to set himself up. I maybe overrated him, I thought he is top 4 class before. Id take him back instantly for next season (should we go up).....look how bad Arsenal have been without a good keeper.

Would you accept McGregor back Frankie??? I think it would be a shrewd move......Probably one of the forgivable ones who left. Hull are down they will well be looking to move players on,. Mcgregor is what 33/34, a young pup for a keeper - I just turned 36 yesterday and can still climb peaks every weekend so he can easily do the job.
  10. Sorry state of affairs but our team should have just enough (to give your kids a treat, its full of Cadbury goodness....)

We should get the Shagger back for next season.
  12. Bosshhhh Looking forward to hearing the predictions on this one. Hibs will be totally up for it. Yet we have just had to play 90 mins from Saturday. I fancy us though 2-0
  13. Don't follow what you have posted....are you saying we shouldn't be aiming to win the title again??? He has done the job of getting us into the play offs - yes but even McCoist would have done that. Still don't follow what you are trying to say mate.
  14. Jesus...John Hughes.....that's in the Jim Jefferies camp. An unpopular name has always been Jimmy Calderwood, id give him a bash ahead of McCall.
  15. Cant agree with that, how do you work that one out? He isn't the man for the job. He isn't near what we require to win a top flight title again.
  16. So its looking like Hull are gone. They need to beat Man Utd and hope Newcastle don't beat West Ham at home.
  17. I can see him getting the job though which is the problem. Granted he has a big mess to clean up but he still isn't the man for the job. When was the last time we had a decent No.2?!! That plays a big role.
  18. Would be strange timing from them aswell though, Id have thought with MK Dons already being promoted Robinson would be on a beach by now.
  19. Used to vary for me. Midweek and Sunday games Id usual used to drive or take the Granite City Supporters Bus but majority of home games on a Saturday I used to take the train to enjoy a good 3 hours of Tennents of the way down. If I went now I would be John Candy and Steve Martin - Trains, Planes and Automobiles
  20. A flight for you and a flight for me, that could be the 2 tickets gone.
  21. I think Im right in saying both teams will be going for trebles in the final. Juve have won the league and are in the Coppa Italian final. Barca should wrap up the la liga and the Spanish cup. Juve need to stifle the game like they did to Real in the second half and they might have a chance but Barca would need to have an off day to lose it. Ive got Juve on to win it at 11/1 but I don't mind Barca winning as they probably deserve to increase their total number of CL titles.
  22. While I agree with that the timing could have been a bit better rather than during the play offs.
  23. I predicted a Juve v Barca final, happy with that. Seems a bit like 2013 when I thought Dortmund v Munich final, and I had Dortmund on from the last 16 Ive had Juventus on to win it since the last 16.
  24. Got to agree with Gisabeer, if we was attempting to play attractive stuff then people might be more positive about the future. But its a bit of a lottery at the moment. If we do go up we need quite a lot of surgery to make us near the top.
  25. What day is the 2nd leg? Auntie bbc still doesn't have this listed in their fixtures. If I was in the UK I would be posting my TV license back about this. Interestingly, how many ST holders are going after the 5 quid ticket announcement? Id personally have definitely paid to go had I still got my ST. IIRC the fixtures then come thick and fast for the next play off then the next one to go up....shambolic set up by the SPFL.
