  1. Its great still having a game to look forward to even during International weekend. And a great read BTW.
  2. The marketing side should be pushing it more and making it more attractive especially for overseas fans. I tend to mess about finding a link which can be a problem rather than signing up for the season.
  3. 2 huge matches coming up. Georgia away tonight is massive, defeat would make things tricky to qualify as Rep Ireland will beat Gibraltar to allow them back in it and then we have Germany so could be 4th by next week. 3 points is needed although 4 from the 2 games would be massive. Poland play Germany tonight also so something has to give there, so even more cause to get the win in Tbilisi.
  4. Probably only a draw or 2 needed from their remaining 3 games to qualify for Euro 2016 - first tournament since 1958. Although they can confirm it by beating Israel in their next game. Fair play they have 1 superstar then a team of good organisation. I can remember their glorious failure in 1993 for USA 94 where they led Romania in Cardiff onlt to miss a penalty then let Romania win 2-1. Don't think they can or will slip up this time. Northern Ireland also in the running to qualify but Netherlands have it all to do after losing at home to Iceland last night.
  5. Id be interested but it may be tricky to run picking a team. Perhaps score predictions of the games might work??
  6. Not one I have heard of before even though Im from there.
  7. That was a cracking song. 1990 IIRC
  8. If Ally can win League one undefeated this team can win this championship undefeated although there is likely to be an off day somewhere down the line. All we can say is its 8/8 and 100% perfect so far and the most impressive footballing structure at Ibrox for many a year.
  9. Born in 1995, the year Gazza signed, that makes me feel old! Always thought Gasparotto should have been in the squad in the least couple of seasons.
  10. Im happy with the squad and I think Warburton is thinking ahead to next summer already. He will assess this squad over the season, he knows its good enough to get promotion but will add to it when necessary for a tougher league next season. 3 of this squad are in on loan and will obviously go back to their clubs next summer meaning Warburton will know he has 3 more places to fill and I would guess he already has players in mind.
  11. If he stays fit then its a good addition.
  12. Southampton did themselves a favour going out. That tournament is horrendous and ruins your season playing every Sunday.
  13. A strong 2nd shout but Id rather Dundee Utd. Its more personal with Utd. Motherwell just beat a poor Rangers side, they will be taken care of next season if they stay up.
  14. Dundee Utd for me, preferably at Ibrox but a nice wee score to settle with them first.
  15. Wonder if he has a release contract
  16. I have tended to hope the our league gets co-efficient points in the past for the benefit of our league and more so Rangers. But if ever there was a year for it to benefit Rangers with Celtic not qualifying it was this year. The financial rewards for Celtic would have been huge this year allowing them to get ahead of us returning to the top flight next year.
  17. Wasn't there a Gretna player Deuchars who broke scoring records in the lower leagues but was never heard of again? Clark hit a silly amount of goals for QofS but doesn't look like he could get double figures for us. I am guessing part of the reason was the Championship was slightly easier in his good season with no Rangers, Hearts and Hibs and you have to give QotS credit, they seem to be a good footballing side and Clark probably benefitted from that.
  18. Probably a player I will forget even wore the jersey eventually but good luck to him. We certainly had worse strikers during the last 3 years like Kevin Kyle and Boyd Spell2. As for Black, just a poser but could probably do a job for a Motherwell or St Johnstone.
  19. 1 round at a time although we have nothing to fear from anyone. Whilst we have taken giant steps in 6 games compared to last season we still have a bit to go. In saying that we should always have been good enough in the last few years to give at least 6 or 7 top flight teams a game but Hearts are proving that getting structures right means they can have a proper go and I expect us to do even better than them. A good test would be Dundee Utd. We have came up against them in cup comps and been put out but now we have improved it would be a good measurement. Alternatively Motherwell after the play offs in May would be a good test. Lets do the job against Airdrie first and see what the hot and cold balls brings us. I was always a fan of the league cup, we had fantastic success in it but the SFA screwed it up by making the final into the next calendar year. It should be taken back to its original calendar dates of starting in August and the Final being in October / November
  20. Sunday football.....Which is good could mean we get more Saturday games if they are playing every sunday.
  21. Arsenal exactly the same as previous seasons, not delivering when the season starts. Only difference is Cech in goal turned a defeat into a draw. Wenger accommodating Cazorla, Ramsay and Ozil in the same team is hurting them. It should be 2 from those 3 with Chamberlain / Walcott and Sanchez in the outside positions and Coquelin sitting.
  22. If City blow Everton away today then I agree, it seems they have a anger and revenge about them so fair play to Pellegrini to getting them together. Toure and Kompany have had a full summer rest after playing Interntionals for 2 summers and I think its showing already. Still early though, teams have had stuttering starts before and came good. I think Chelsea will get the cheque book out this week also with Pogba and Stones but if Costa and Falcao arent fit their problem will be upfront. Still another 3 games before the table starts to take shape. The match at Emirates tomorrow will be good. Can see Liverpool nicking a draw.
  23. Couldnt watch the full clip, he was starting to make me depressed. 4-0 at home to Ross County is some licking though
  24. A good point for newcastle. Will be interesting to see if Man U dip into the transfer market now.
  25. Rebuilding an entire footballing structure which was in a mass state of mess and then locating and putting together 9 new players and moulding them playing well is easy??? Well then again Warburton is magic
