I think the set up of the team has something to do with it as well Coop. MW hasn't found the right blend so far. This season was always going to be about settling into the top flight again and making progress. Better Rangers teams have had similar results against them so it can be put down as a one off. Where it will get scary is if we went to Pittodrie and Tynecastle and got those results, I would be worrying then. I think its back to the drawing board for MW with picking the team. Waghorn being back is a help and Windass should start again.

MW got it wrong today - first time Ive said that. Having Miller and Garner together was a non starter. And they looked fitter and faster than us all over the park. It looked like some of the awful days under McLeish there. Kranjcar looks finished. He can pass a ball but cant run, he looks like he is playing exhibition matches. Garner looks a waste of money, not a MW type of player at all. Windass looks a player.

I like the Windass inclusion... Kranjcar though? He looks stale and cant run...we will need bodies moving in this game. Garner - Cant see how he and Miller can play together unless its 4-4-2

Wow...Windass, Kranjcar and Garner....MW is going for it
  5. Maybe just a coincidence....yes absolutely...Get into them...So long as we don't freeze all will be good. A lot of debutants today. Cant believe I cant get a bet on...Singapore firewalled off betting sites and they only do the English games betting locally.
  6. Haha did this balloon really say that.
  7. Ive been up for 8 hours doing the bouncy. BTW where does the eh come from?? Ive always just said Cmon Rangers but noticed others also put eh in.
  8. Do you think the globalist fat cats care about what you feel on match day? My only surprise is it not happening by now. But its totalitarian...step by step is the ICC in every country, as per opening post Chelsea v Real in the US. They will be playing weekly in the next decade. Why do you think Beckham has pumped so much money into the MLS??? For a hobby??? Of course not...his team will be playing Man Utd and Barca.
  9. Cheers Ian...I did have Michael Jackson and REM tunes randomly on.....
  10. If he can give us an hour he still has to play. I didn't even think of Windass earlier, he could be brought on to give them troubles. We have good attacking options, its all about getting it right in midfield - something we have struggled thus far.
  11. Don't think we can play 2 out and out centre forwards in Miller and garner. Waghorn has to play if fit. The midfield is interesting though, its 3 from 6. Rossiter and Kranjcar will be considered but id have Halliday in for this game and Forrester.
  12. Its coming. Globalisation will merge all teams. I have said for years the MLS teams want a part of the pie from playing European clubs...and with the money China is pumping in right now means they are coming to the table. 5-10 years will see a Global league.
  13. Not much about folks preferred starting XI's for tomorrow (or today depending what time zone you are in)
  14. Oooff that's a brutal defence. How Konterman was a player I will never know. Amoruso was a bomb scare. Vidmar was half decent, he scored a peach against Parma IIRC. Ricksen was played in midfield too much when he was a RB.
  15. If Aguero was playing Id take a flutter on that but Jose knows how to not lose.
  16. The TV money men got this wrong playing it as the same time as the OF. What a boob that was. But this will be interesting for the jose v Pep thing alone, they clearly don't like each other. Aguero is a massive miss for City and that's the game changer. I'll be have a wee flutter on draw half time draw full time.
  17. Ive got the beers flowing already....A tad early??? Nah. Yet it is a 7pm kick off for me I think MW can oust Rodgers. All the pressure is on Celtic being the home team. It may be the one time where Halliday, Barton and Rossiter all fit into the same team but that's defensive. Foderingham Tav Senderos Wilson Wallace Barton Halliday Forrester Waghorn McKay Miller
  18. MW - Man love.
  19. He was a player!! I rated him. He didn't like a tackle but he would be straight into the team in this day.
  20. Yep that's pretty much what I was getting at. Well said (you aren't the real JFK are you? who was NOT taken out by LHW? - another thread) Maybe Hearts last season can be looked as a decent success after coming up but at the end of the day they are Hearts and should be punching above the teams below them.
  21. Similar to Scotland, I could barely recognise their starting XI if they was having lunch infront of me. Rodgers is on a life saving job, if he was that good he would have gotten a gig in England. He did well from Swansea off of Souza and Martinez work and Suarez glorified him at Anfield yet they still conceded 50+ goals in the season Gerrard slipped. Anything to be worried about on Saturday??? Eh no!
  22. Sorry but I feel this is out of order. Erm going back to 2012 who else actually was available to do what he did and go to Division 3? A Cheerleader is way out of line. Im sure you would have happily took that salary as well. I am not defending the performance side (or lack of) one bit.
  23. Can read on the BBC if you like - no point posting a link. Wrong Murdo. How many Championship clubs come up and do an overhaul like Rangers did. He is too focused on the individual players. Yet are Celtics individuals that better? Sinclair was a failure for years. The business Rangers did is nothing short of exceptional considering the circumstances. Would Celtic in 1993 have done the same levels? No It took them 2-3 years before they got challenging again. I usually quite like Murdo, but he seems very unbalanced here and isn't looking at the bigger picture. EDIT - Not to mention the budget difference. Celtic are playing Barcelona next week....take that into consideration.
  24. Correct. I am not doubting his managerial inabilities. But my point is would anyone who slates him have done anything other than take the salary? I really doubt that.
