I really don't want to see them win it, I like Klopp but not Liverpool. Would like to see Wenger win one more before he retires.
-
You have to give credit to Conte. They weren't playing well with 4 at the back and he stuck with his guns and moved to his favoured formation and the players have bought it. I cant see them winning the league, they are still a bit to open and City, Arsenal and Liverpool all look stronger then them at the moment.

Nice 500 bucks win, I backed Sunderland today, they had to win sometime. Awesome from Chelsea. Good game today - North London Derby. Arsenal heavy favourites but I fancy Spurs.

Its up to us, if we don't self destruct then I can see them getting to 8 at the max. Its quite obvious they will probably get to 6 this year but if we strengthen then we could get 55 before they get to 7 or 8. It may be a bit similar to them stopping us doing 10 in the 90s, it took them around 3 seasons to really get challenging, even 95-96 they went the season only losing 1 game yet we still managed to get to 8. 9IAR came down to the OF games where we won all 4. I still get gutted about our 10IAR season 97-98, it was out own downfall. Announcing WS was stepping down and being replaced by Advocaat was error No.1. Advacaat saying which players were in his plans was mistake no.2. (Why he wouldn't have wanted Laudrup is beyond me). Letting Gascoigne go with 2 months to go was No.3 - a half fit Gazza would have got us over the line. Poor defeats at Aberdeen and Motherwell mistake No.4 - A win from won of them would have won it. So I can see us putting in a real challenge from next season but it might still take 2 before we win it. I think we were too quick to judge this season based on the OF cup semi final in April. But we are now starting to play well and keep clean sheets, so if we can go on a run then win the NY OF derby we can review things.

Strachan will screw up the team again. The Fletchers are both a banker to start as is that Derby/ Fulham striker Martin. D Fletcher has been a model pro but isn't good enough now, but he is in as captain so will play. Those selections cost us points in the last 2 games. If we can only take 1 point from Lithuania and Slovakia then I don't know how we can get something at Wembley. For me its: Marshall Greer Hanley Martin Wallace McArthur Morrison Naismith Burke Snodgrass Griffiths -
The other issue is I don't think he and Halliday can play in the same team - not for the off field issue but I think we only need 1 holding midfielder in the team. Plus Rossiter looks a promise if he can get fit and a run of games.
-
Im on the fence with this. Its likely he will move on in January. But as we are paying his wages he should be available for selection IF needed only.

Mark McGhee reckons Rangers will do well to avoid bottom-six

Professionalism from the National teams assistant manager!!! As said earlier he is a merry go round manager -
What a goal from Ozil. That's what Arsenal need to see more regularly.
-
Mourinho just doesn't want to be there by the looks of things and he was the same at Chelsea. I think he wants an international job.
-
There is no realistic manager available who could carry a baton of what MW has done, he has probably changed a lot off the park that we don't see. Other than Celtic its 1 defeat all season and people want him removed due to 3 or 4 draws - that's incredible. Even if Sam Allardyce came up he would short term thinking and the football wouldn't be great. It shouldn't even be a discussion point at this stage. As for Waghorn - I rate him, he is just having an off period, perhaps not fully recovered from injury. He does a good job on the right but think he should be through the middle more. All that is happening at the moment is the strikers don't have finishing boots on and there is a small piece of the jigsaw not fitting in the final third.
-
Not for me. That could set us back a long way. He needs time.
-
Giggs is the early pace setter with the bookies and its in his neck of the woods.
-
Id give him a run there with O'Hallaran on the right. Through the middle should be Waghorn or/and Miller - get players in preferred positions.
-
Funnily enough that was when he was at he best in that period but Tugay, Albertz and Van Bronkhurst were better for me. And looking around the midfielders at that time in Europe I could list pages of Midfielders - Zidane, Vieira, Keane, Scholes, Gerrard...just to start with - they were in a different league.

It was always going to be a season of stability but with the signs last season and our budget versus the rest of the teams we expected to be in 2nd position quite easily. But its a marathon not a sprint and with results for Hearts and Aberdeen this week show they cant be ahead of us that easily. The only game we haven't been at the races was the Celtic match but better Rangers sides have lost there before in similar fashion. Aberdeen away was cruel as their winner wasn't deserved. It just seems the squad is still gelling and maybe finding the top flight slightly different to the Championship which I am surprised about as I thought most of the Championship sides are on par with half the top flight teams. There must be a different style of play on going. Still too early to judge, if we were losing games Id be worried. Its up to the manager and squad to find a way of turning draws into wins. Funnily we were all concerned with the defence earlier but it seems that's more of a settled system and unit. Its the midfield and front line where nobody knows the best picks and systems - that's maybe what happens when we have so many options.
-
We really need to turn these home draws into wins, they are starting to build up now.
-
Team selection will be interesting. League form has been ok last few games but does the team need freshening up or can some of the players play 3 games in 6 days (incl Kilmarnock on Saturday) - all 3 are in Glasgow so preparation and travel isn't an issue. I would like to see O'Hallaran and Dodoo get more game time with the absence of Kranjcar and Forrester.

I think its still way to early in the season. We are still a new squad that has been hampered by injuries. I don't think MW had a bad transfer window, so far he has had injuries but more so he hasn't decided on this best XI yet. We cant be compared to Hearts last season getting 3rd on their return, all teams give an extra 50% against Rangers. Its still a transition period for me. Look at how Man Utd shut up shop at Anfield last week, it was a poor performance but overall I wouldn't say they are miles behind Liverpool. The only concerning things is the good football philosophy of last season has went out the window when it should actually have improved as we have a better squad on paper this season but it comes down to injuries, not clicking in training yet and MW himself not knowing his best XI and formation. Having a poor pre-season (no fault of our own) didn't help and we did start well in the League cup group stages.

Same here. While I do have Facebook and had it before the craze started I don't use it much. I wouldn't know how to do a tweet and I don't even know what Instagram is, Ive heard it but wouldn't have a clue what its like. Its not a dinosaur thing at all, its actually staying social and not a zombie. They call it social media but its actually anti-social. Unlike a forum where it has common features about it.

Simeone, De boer, Koeman (if Barca don't snap him up), Bergkamp, dare I say Giggs. There will always be managers around.
-
Huge blow for them. As good as he is he is almost an unsung hero. He has played behind two sets of awesome front 3's (including Messi twice).
