I dont get the sky studio coverage, just the match comes on a minute before kick off but do get Crocker and McCann, its perfect. Half time i will get highlights from world football. -

Not the best viewing, only the one chance, Miller should have found the back of the net. -

That plus I think we need to tweak the formation. The midfield balance still isn't right. square pegs square holes works better. -

My one and only trip to Firhill was as a raw 15 year old on a freezing rainy winter Saturday afternoon where we scrapped a 1-1 draw. Laudrup was away on international duty and was badly missed. IIRC Davie Robertson snatched a 1-1 draw. Cant see how Miller can be left out of anyones XI at the moment, he is playing the best of any of our strikers. I would like to see 4-4-2 (or call it 4-1-3-2 these days). This team for me has balance, width, creativity and pace. The sooner Waghorn gets a run and his shooting boots on the better IMO. EDIT - After listening to MW's press conference Waghorn is just back training so unlikely to start. Ive replaced him with Dodoo. 4 mins 33 secs...thats another legendary goal. Fair play to Jock Brown for the commentary. Laudrup steeling the show at the end though in the last goals. Class.

Got to love a bit of Jimbo....just realised he is on talksport - that is a scoop for them.
-
I was awake at 4am and had the scores on my laptop and the numbers kept changing...I was wondering If I was awake or not. And they beat Munich at the weekend...good week for Dortmund...
-
What about his old side this morning...8-4 in the Champions League.

Agree with pretty much all Craig except I can see Arsenal fading away. They just lack something and I cant put my finger on it. I want them to win the league but draws against Middlesboro and Spurs sum them up. As long as Liverpool don't win it though....but I do like Klopp and think they are the favourites at the moment.

And who can forget about the screamer at Elland Road...wow....what a goal. A 25 million pound striker in this day in age.
-
1min 25 and 2 min 10...awesome pace
-
WBA up to 9th...yet Pulis is still unpopular.
-
Can someone get those goals up...sorry I cant as Im in a taxi at the moment....much love Gribz

Cracking striker, should have played more for England. Always remember that goal at Pittodrie where he out paced the defence and stuck it home along with the similar one at parkhead in a NY game.

Im surprised WS doesn't have his own thread....And I sense a tad negativity about him. No idea why that is. That man IS a Rangers LEGEND hands down. His only downfall was in Europe playing 3-5-2....we should have been destroying teams but Craig Moore central mid and that Cleland bloke on the right wouldn't beat the bin men never mind Juventus. That was Walters only downfall. He should have used Gascoigne and Laudrup to his advantage. Both of them were capable of winning tournaments. Before Ajax away id have said to Gascoigne - go win me the tournament. But domestically - what a hero....we probably took for granted his second spin...3 titles in a row, UEFA cup final...he knows how to win. Wally is our Alex Ferguson. Barmy army - Walter Smiths......

From my early days this was a tune and a half that reminds me if hitting Ibrox as a raw 15 year old going down on the train.

We need to switch it to a 4-1-3-2. Have to say I was switching channels as it was so boring to watch. (Mind you I had a big bet on the English games) Unleash Waghorn upfront with Miller / Dodoo. Garner isn't at the races IMO. We cant afford a posh Kris Boyd at the moment. Kranjcar is going to be some miss, he is more effective now that he isn't available. But its a win - that should be a lift...take it as a positive.
-
They have gelled due to no injuries while we have had loads. Kranjcar's injury is so unlucky just when he was up to speed. But we will get closer to them season by season, getting into the Europa league would be a big stride. Bartons wages will free up the possibility of another Kranjcar to come in during the winter window. Lets just beat the rest of the league first, one game at a time.

Id like to see this today but cant see Garner and Holt not starting: Foderingham Tavernier Wilson Hill Wallace Halliday O'Hallaran Windass Forrester Waghorn Miller

Shocking to hear. Was an exciting signing at the time. Amoruso was in the same boat when signed, didn't kick a ball for a year if I remember right. As for Jardel - he allegedly signed and sitting in the Main Stand at a game then disappeared.

Mark Warburton dismisses rumours of row with Martyn Waghorn
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
He has hit a bad batch of form but is certainly the player I rate highest upfront for us. Miller has been superb but is 36/37 and can still offer experience but Waghorn is capable of 20 goals a season. He offers a lot when playing well. -
A celtic thread shouldn't be in here. They have a huge budget with CL this season and a manager who almost won the Premier League so will be finding this level easy. I think they have upped their game knowing if they lost the title this season it would have resulted in disaster. For me realistically I want to just concentrate on our own results. Some of our form is good but we need to turn draws into wins when playing well. I just want to see a good win today then a good result at Firhill before going to Hearts. If we pick up 6 points from the next two it sets us up nicely for the Hearts and Aberdeen (must win) games. Forget the gap at the top at the moment, we should be looking to just get clear of the team above us first then move forward from there.
