That's just Pardew putting himself in the shop window. If he wants to offer Murty support then call Murty and tell him personally.

The down side is that is its 3 points for Aberdeen. Whilst we can overhaul that by beating them twice the other side is their goal difference is plus 25 compared to our plus 6 which I don't think we can overhaul and is effectively a point at the end of the season if the teams finish level on points.

He seemed to be OK until he seen it was being recorded. He has to know in this day in age everyone records everything. But not a good advertisement for the National team assistant.
-
Wenger is too ignorant. He puts his same tactics in every game. He treats Bayern away the same as he would Sunderland at home. At 1-1 they are in the tie but Coquelin isn't good enough at this level, he was stumbled upon due to injuries and had one good game at Man City so has been first pick ever since. What has Ozil got to do to get dropped. Id have played Monreal as he is better defensively than Gibbs (who I rate) then had Elneny (he is a decent player) with Xhaka in the middle. Walcott on the right, Ox on the left then Sanchez in Ozil's position and Welbeck upfront and let those 4 hit Bayern on the break. They are missing fighters. If a fit Wilshire and Cazorla is in that team then its a different performance altogether.

Id be gobsmacked if King and the board hadn't taken legal advice and were 100% sure before releasing the statement. The only unclear area was this happening on a Wednesday but MW still doing a press conference on the Friday - obviously it took 48 hours to go through everything in detail.

Arsenal battered 5-1 in Munich for the second year in a row. They are not a team. Sanchez and Koscielny are the only 2 players who are carrying that team who are weak.

Ibrox Faces Rates Rise - Guess Who Gets a Discount?
Gribz replied to StuGers's topic in Rangers Chat
Thats ridiculous. I forgot all about that crazy council tax which should be abolished when an army tank would struggle to get over some of the pot holes on the roads. A few meaningless friendlies will get arranged to cover the cost. Or they could arrange games against a major country. Hampden has lost a lot of its energy and atmosphere anyway. Its only ever full if Rangers or Celtic are playing in a final or maybe an edinburgh derby. But if Motherwell played St Mirren in the final a 30000 seater would do. Spain dont need a national stadium they go all around the country. Ive always liked the thought of seeing some games at Murrayfield. -
If we were successful of getting FdB I like the thought of Ronald joining in some capacity (joint manager / DoF / Assistant / Coach)

PSG were excellent. Even at 3-0 and 4-0 they were going for more. I don't like to see money teams that much but Barca and Real have been receiving the TV money in Spain ahead of the other clubs for years. But if there is a team who can overturn a 4-0 its Barca. They have won their last 3 home games 4-0 4-0 and 7-2 so they could easily come out and get 2 quick goals and make a tie of it. But PSG keeping a clean sheet has probably done enough. I'll go for 3-0 Barcelona in the 2nd leg. I fancied Benfica on the night but Dortmund should overturn that at home. Good night of scores in the Championship. Derby were 3-0 down at home to Bristol City at the weekend and drew 3-3 and tonight lost 4-3 at home to Cardiff. Neil Warnock is a terrific impact manager and if wasn't in that job Id have been calling for him at Ibrox until the end of the season. he kept Rotherham in that league last year also. Leeds, Reading and Huddersfield all close the gap on Brighton and Newcastle. Sheff Wed keep on going.

I dont think he came over to well on sky on sunday, it seemed to be more about if the club wants him come and get him and didnt outright say he wanted it.

I probably agree actually that Spurs will pip Man Utd in positions but threw them in left field earlier, probably going by form. But after looking at the run ins Spurs have a slightly easier fixture list. Man Utd have to go to Arsenal and Tottenham in a week plus play Man City. But liverpool have an even easier run in than Spurs. All in all absolutely no idea but a Chelsea Man City 1 and 2 is pretty much a banker.

Lets hope that Sutton quote can join into other junk him and Hartson have said in the past that made them look stupid.

Glad you said Buffel, I rated him when he was on his game. But Prso was his best signing - an absolute class act, imagine he had 2 knees! Novo's contribution aswell is right up there. Boumsong looked a top class French international then went to Newcastle and looked like he had never played the game before. Watteraus - honest keeper but didn't have a patch on Klos and Der Goalie should have been brought back in sooner. Boyd - There is a library on here about him. Ferguson - Did well first few games but should never been brought back and given a free reign to do what he wanted, he then became 'My Ba Barry' All in all Id still take Eck until the end of the season but hope the link with Alex Rae as No.2 isn't true.

Gary Monk would be a scoop, Id have thought out of reach but if he is been spoken to then that's good. Swansea pulled the trigger far too early to get rid and he has turned a mess of a Leeds time into promotion contenders while still working with mad men behind the scenes. But he will obviously want to get Leeds up and then would stay. Rowett has showed great promise at Birmingham. Would be a realistic sensible option at the moment. FdB is still top choice in the summer and even Michael Laudrup who just hasn't even had a mention. EDIT - Would Alex Neil be a decent shout if he doesn't get Norwich up?
-
3 wins in a row for City while Chelsea have 1 in 3 all of a sudden there is a chance of a title race. City are beginning to click after a couple of uneasy spells. 8 points is still a big ask. Chelsea can afford 2 defeats. But if they avoid defeat when they play Man City then it would probably be enough.
-
He has started his career in England well though.
-
We need someone in place straight away - whether that is temporary or full time. Nobody knows if Murty could do it for a few months but I think maybe would have a bit of confidence of a McLeish type coming in to get a response from the team and get a few good wins to finish second. FdB has said he is having a break - his first since he started playing football, that's fair enough. I see your point that if he wants it then get him in straight away but I also see his point that he would like to start afresh in the summer with pre-season.
-
Big Eck is purely an impact manager in his early days at any job and both SBS and Harleys posts have factual info about them. In his 5 years at Ibrox we had great times and bad times. He is a yes for me until the end of the season. There is nobody else to come in straight away (unless Harry Redknapp fancies it then Id bite the hand off). But only until the end of the season and a new long term approach next season is a must even if FdB doesn't take it. Alex Rae as number two is a depressing one and the worst decision out of anything. The man McLeish was sitting next to in the studio is a far more appealing option (not Tanner BTW). Or someone like Ray Wilkins or Steve Clarke who have been good assistants in the past and both available.

Certainly looks that way to get a good semi final line up.

Marco Negri - Frank De Boer is the man to lead Rangers back to the top
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I think the popular option at the moment is McLeish until the summer then FdB in the summer. If Negri wants a strikers coaching role then that's not a bad option. When he signed he was incredible and like Mols could score any type of goal. You just wonder if he didn't have that bizarre injury and Mols hadn't got injured what those two upfront together would have done. -
Rangers send Jordan Rossiter to FA’s top medics in bid to cure back injury
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The problem with this type of injury is it could be coming from anywhere in the legs but the pain comes from the back so detecting it is the hardest problem. Im pretty sure St Georges would have specialists but he could opt to try traditional far east treatment. -
Chelsea slight blip. I actually backed a draw as they cant win every game. But with Spurs not winning and Arsenals poor recent form they are still well in command. Man City are likely to close the gap to 8 points plus still have to play Chelsea but its still a lot of ground to make up. I wouldn't be shocked if Bournemouth pull out a draw either and Man City are hot and cold. Good win for Swansea, Clement doing well and it gives them a bit of breathing space. It see's Middlesboro the side who are also in danger now. On form you would see Hull get out of it so it would be 3 from Sunderland, Palace, Leicester and Middlesboro but it will change every week. Clement and Silva have done well so I wouldn't mind seeing Hull and Swansea stay up along with Middlesboro. Sunderland are dog awful and the win against palace was a one off. Would also be good to see Allardyce and Palace go down. And as much as I like Ranieri to see the Champions relegated would be unreal.

Im going to take a wild guess at Charlie Adam
