Will reply to the rest later, reading from phone now....but that is utter nonsense. So you don't get a world class defender??? Maldini? Sorry if read wrong,...will read for proper later when home but position has got nothing to do with it.

No idea why a club would let the opposition support have a display anyway only to be viewed by their own fans and millions on TV. It should be a home club thing only. Opposition supporters clubs flags etc can always be brought in by the away fans but and full away end display shouldn't even be debated.

Transfer Rumours and Deals - Winter Window 2016/17
Gribz replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
Osman is interesting on a short term deal. A good underrated player on his day. Ok is 35 now but would do a job for a short term deal. -
Would like to see something along the lines of this: Foderingham Tavernier Hill Wilson Hodson Halliday Waghorn Holt Forrester McKay Dodoo Would have picked Miller but Id like to see him 100% for the weekend as he is a big game player and has a good record against Celtic. MOH against his old side on the right is an option. Waghorn has his shooting boots back on so is an important player.

As I said its down to personal opinion. But I would say someone who can perform at the highest level consistently. The odd bad game is accepted. But Ozil is the opposite, he only has the odd good game and has never played well in Arsenals big games. Bergkamp was truly world class. I think there is a bracket above World Class for Maradona, Messi, Zidane, etc
-
Yeah didn't see him fitting into the English game. The Americans are still behind Europe with Soccer. Can you imagine say a David Moyes type from a UK based Gridiron side going to manage the Chicago Bears. The only thing you would say is he didn't get a transfer window to get his own players in. Swansea were so well ran for a few years but since letting Michael Laudrup go they are beginning to chop and change. Monk did well and should have been kept on, look what he is doing with Leeds.

On Talksport last night, if Alex Neill goes then Warburton would be willing to go to Norwich. Part 5 last 5-10 minutes during the Championship update. http://talksport.com/radio/listen-again/1482789600#

A debate that goes about and basically comes down to personal opinion. But what should define a world class footballer? Should there be a structure of a level of player. Mesut Ozil is the classic example at the moment who is branded as world class but I would say nowhere near it. Ive heard him being compared to Bergkamp a few times which is funny, Bergkamp was a simple world class act. Ozil is never in games yet can put on the odd good show with a touch here and a goal there against lesser opposition. He is a shadow of the player who destroyed England 4-1 in South Africa.

Good wins for Burnley, Everton and West ham that I didn't see. Arsenal left it late. I think the last two results will come up and will have a double on them at the bookies.

For me that wouldn't give us enough in the final third, I think Dodoo would be better placed than Garner in that shape as you need your final 4 players to be mobile, fast and have that edge aka when we played Barca at Ibrox and Cousin was upfront on his own and was a complete handful. We have St Johnstone to take care of first but 3 points against them is as important as any as we look to cement 2nd place first. Therefore play Hodson and LB and Tav at RB in this game to get them back use to their surroundings in those positions. The system is creating 4 wins in a row so the personnel should come in rather than make formation changes. MW has good dilemma with who to play at CB now. For Perth on Wednesday Id go: Foderingham Tavernier Hill Wilson Hodson Halliday Waghorn Holt Forrester McKay Miller

Fifa discussing rule that only captains can talk to referees
Gribz replied to JFK-1's topic in General Football Chat
Rubgy Union has far more respect on the pitch than footballers who just mouth off so I don't see this working. But in theory a good idea. -
This was always a worry with only having 3 full backs with all 3 playing in the same team. If Wallace misses the games this week then it will likely mean Hodson to LB and Tav back at RB. Couldn't see MW going 3 at the back. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/38428288

Three Points Santa Please! Rangers V Inverness Preview
Gribz replied to cooponthewing's topic in Rangers Chat
It was difficult viewing for two reasons the performance and the thunder storm freezing my tv. But winning when playing poorly is only a good thing. I was a bit worried before the Hamilton game that the Hearts and Aberdeen wins were based on revenge so all we can expect now is the players to prove us wrong. Could actually be a blessing for them to improve in the game that matters next week. However St Johnstone away on Wednesday is a bigger test than what is seems on paper - perhaps numerous changes required for that game. But 10 points clear of Hearts when last month we fell behind them is good form. -
A mad amount of games coming up. I don't think Allardyce will get enough time with the Players before making an impact. Also going for a shock at the Emirates, WBA are a good side and could frustrate Arsenals flow of play. One round of games at a time for the predictions, doing not bad lately with these on the coupons. Watford 1-1 Palace Arsenal 0-1 West Brom Burnley 2-2 Middlesboro Chelsea 3-0 Bournemouth Leicester 1-1 Everton Man Utd 4-0 Sunderland Swansea 0-0 West Ham Hull 0-3 Man City Liverpool 3-1 Stoke Southampton 1-1 Tottenham

Alan Stubbs & Alan Smith Discussing Rangers & Celtic
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Stubbs did come across quite well. But I don't think it will be 'minimum 4 to 5 years'. I think 2 to 3. If we can manage to get into Europa League to start with and get off field issues sorted with Ashley then it raises our income - that would be step one. In the league we need to start dominating the other 10 sides which is exactly what Celtic have done hence their lead so once we widen the gap between the others then Celtic cant do much about it bar in the 4 OF games and they will become deciding factors. Everyone has to remember we were a new squad returning to the top flight just a few months ago, we look like we are beginning to find our feet and if we win today then we are 10 ahead of Hearts which is good going. -

I wouldn't want to change a winning formula, sorting the midfield out has been our problem during the slip up matches. -
Martyn Waghorn Rangers F.C. On Jim White On talkSPORT
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Very level headed young man. A new contract would be a good thing. For me would be first pick upfront, Im a big Miller fan but obviously is coming to the end of his career. -
Considering Allardyce is available I think that made up the clubs mind. Palace / Pardew are consistently inconstant. They would go 7 losses in a row then 5 wins.

Three Points Santa Please! Rangers V Inverness Preview
Gribz replied to cooponthewing's topic in Rangers Chat
He is being judged on 2 games Norris. Fair play to him for trying though. How about my point on Waghorn (and Dodoo for that matter), both got a brace when they played. I think we could have another Boyd saga on the cards -
Three Points Santa Please! Rangers V Inverness Preview
Gribz replied to cooponthewing's topic in Rangers Chat
I don't get the obsession with Garner all of a sudden. Sebo used to try his ass off but got slated. Waghorn has played so much less and scored double the amount. Sorry if that riles anyone folks. Dodoo scored two quality goals against Partick and hasn't been given a chance since. A win v Inverness would be nice to leave us in a good position in the table going into the NY. -
Haha That did make me laugh.....

If we are getting technical Shen dan jie khuai le Selamat hari natal (sounds like a good player)

Watch the ball boy have a wee bounce when the second goal goes in :rfcbouncy: Ferguson having a bounce to the Celtic fans Anton Rogan - possibly our best ever full back.

Joey Barton: Burnley set to re-sign 34-year-old midfielder
Gribz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Barton should be embarrassed. He yapped away and didn't walk the talk. Does anyone thing he will play well in the Premier League?
