  1. With West Ham being my English team he was very decent while there but seems to have lost it a bit since then. He cant be any worse than whats going on now but like you say a bit of unease
  2. Always thought he was undroppable. Not saying bad player. Like Pete, he wasnt my favourite. Hemdani was a better midfielder that season for me.
  3. Hit the free kick which let Laudrup score the 3rd at Hampden 1994
  4. Throw Barry Ferguson in also....Undroppable. Good player in his first spell but ruined the team when he came back.
  5. Papac was an honest pro but no statues will be getting made about him. Munro - interesting - I think Frankie has him as his favourite full back. Konterman for me was one who seemed undroppable by Big Eck. And I am still working out why he was even a footballer.

No way....Letizi, Ginzburg, Wattereaus, Roy Carroll, Dibble - Klos was miles ahead of all of them. To think we only signed him because our world cup winning keeper had an injury at the time (Charbonnier)....unbelievable.

You owe me a new keyboard....I burst out laughing. I quite like Malcolm, had a bit of no nonsense about him. Gosh Malcolm and Namouchi were our midfield at one point - both would still get in today.

Amazing response...cheers guys. My team is still the best For me - Klos, Numan and Hateley are so unlucky not to get into my side. 3 world class players there. I was a bit stuck at centre half though, I refuse to put Butcher in and think Craig Moore was arguably our most ever improved player. He was a boo boy with Walters side and everyone questioned Advocaat buying him back from Palace but that was the most shrewd signing ever. He would walk into todays team.
  10. Didnt see Spurs whacking Stoke like that. Stoke are a real pain in the arse to bet on. Got to feel for Southampton in the cup.

Theres an argument for Hateley over McCoist....Big Mark was our best striker for 5 years and kept either Ally or Mo Jo out for one year.
  12. Its been years since we did this.....and with a lot more new posters (with age mwah) it will get interesting. For me Goram Stevens Gough Moore Robertson Laudrup Gascoigne De Boer Albertz Mols McCoist
  13. Just a year or two to young to see Cooper. Remember him well but was only around 6 or 7 when he was playing towards his last years. Remember him scoring a penalty for scotland - one of my first footballing memories and scoring another spot kick against Celtic. Ruud Guillt says he is one the best players he has ever seen. But best story I heard about Cooper was he took the subway to training a lot and didnt bother with any fancy stuff.
  14. I mean the jokes get funnier by the day. Davies, Irvine, Ma Baw....
  15. Pulis is doing remarkably well. Hull let me down for 650 bucks.
  16. Would have liked Jol 6 years ago. Thought he was good at Spurs. Not sure what he has been doing recently though.
  17. Here we go this weekends predictions. Only one Im not confident with is West Brom - on paper they should win but have a sneaky for Bournemouth to get something. Chelsea 2-0 Swansea Crystal Palace 1-0 Middlesboro Everton 3-1 Sunderland Hull 1-0 Burnley West Brom 1-1 Bournemouth Watford 1-1 West Ham Tottenham 1-1 Stoke Leicester 0-2 Liverpool League Cup Final Man Utd 2-1 Southampton
  18. Can anyone confirm if a line has been drawn under everything with MW, DW and FM? Its still all gone very silent. Are they still saying they haven't resigned and taking it further behind the scenes? They have only spoken through the LMA which is just a statement. Im guessing as far as the club are concerned its resignations and cheerio.
  19. He would be great compared to Mckay, Irvine, Davies and the other miserable names on the list.
  20. Unreal 23 years. I remember his debut well when he ran almost the length of the pitch against Motherwell to set up Duncan Ferguson for the winner in the 87th minute. I said id never seen skill like that in Scotland before. Was only around 14 or 15 at the time.
  21. This seemed to be coming but I thought a respectable result in Sevilla would keep him going for another week and he would get this 6 pointer against Swansea this weekend. For me there has been a huge spilt in the dressing room there and the players have to look at themselves. Riches went to their heads but at the same time last season was a freak one. To win the league by 10 points was surreal. I expected them to be nothing more than a mid table team this season but they are in free fall at the moment due to something behind the scenes. Losing Kante was huge. Other players like Vardy and Mahrez haven't shown up. The guy deserves a statue and freedom of the city for last season. I don't particularly like Leicester but cant help liking Ranieri. Ranieri at Ibrox anyone?
  22. This used to happen for me sometimes when threads run into multiple pages - I can only view first page - I switched from IE to Firefox and problem solved.
  23. And they are only 3 points off Real Madrid in La liga but played a game more. I think Sevilla will win at Leicester. Monaco and Sevilla aren't the big boys in their league but they have more than matched Englands elite. Sevilla beat Liverpool in last seasons Europa final. Monaco knocked Spurs out this seasons CL and should have left Man City with at least a point on Tuesday.
  24. Plenty goals in the last 16 first legs. 34 goals in 8 games averaging 4.25 goals a game. Man City v Monaco was a great game but Monaco will be kicking themselves for not at least drawing. Falcao who looks back to a world class striker missing that penalty at 2-1 was the turning point. At 4-3 your thinking what a classic and the 2nd leg would be great - but at 5-3 that changes both teams approach.
  25. Didn't see Hibs getting through when draw was made but if the teams who are expected to go through in the semis do go through then Id want them next. If Rangers, Aberdeen, Celtic and Hibs do get through Id imagine the hot and cold balls would be out for the draw after the final last year making us likely to get Aberdeen or Celtic.
