  1. Thats an OK idea if we had Laudrup and Hateley but id rather see us play higher up the park. Big Clint Hill needs to have the game of his life and we need someone to perform in the middle of the park.
  2. I think we will stick to Pedro Like I said - he has a Simeone swagger about him and lets give the guy a chance.
  3. Harsh mate...I only comment on conspiracies once there is something to debate....I dont sit in a room and make up stuff like 9/11.
  4. Get over yourselves and have a positive look for once. Judge by time and results and not by how he got the gig.
  5. Yup long day here also...Ive got a 8:30pm kick off. I told the neighbour to wake me up at 8pm in case Ive passed out as Im on the bevvy already
  6. How do you pronounce his surname by the way??
  7. 3 homes. I didnt back that. Well done Hull, good win to keep the relegation fight interesting. Didnt think Everton would cuff WBA so easily.
  8. And much older than me
  9. A bit of doom and gloom in this thread. Welcome aboard Pedro. Im quite happy with this appointment, lets see what he can do. He has a bit of Simeone swagger about him. I hope he is the non nonsense type.
  10. I hope so because bar Clint Hill our centre half's are basically shite. Wilson hasnt looked a shadow of himself in first spell, Kiernan is St Johnstone level and Senderos must be on crack or something.
  11. Would be good to see the team just stuck in and fight. I will never back against a Gers side against Celtic. Foderingham Tavernier Wilson Hill Wallace Waghorn Toral Hyndman McKay Miller Dodoo
  12. I obviously am for real if those stats are true.....Im not bigging up anything, just showing the stats...dont shoot the messenger
  13. They could well be but Durham still contradicted himself. Ive no time for either of them. Darren Gough is OK though.
  14. I saw this and thought it was quite interesting especially comparing WS and Big Ecks records which are nearly the same yet WS is a hero and McLeish defined as poor by some. Last five Rangers managers Mark Warburton (June 2015 - Feb 2017) P82 W54 D15 L13 Trophies 2 Ally McCoist (June 2011 - Dec 2014) P167 W121 D22 L24 Trophies 2 Walter Smith (Jan 2007 - May 2011) P246 W155 D53 L38 Trophies 8 Paul Le Guen (May 2006 - Jan 2007) P31 W16 D8 L7 Trophies 0 Alex McLeish (Dec 2001 - May 2006) P235 W155 D44 L36 Trophies 7
  15. If that was anyone else but Sutton I would have said Durham was a patronising contradicting clown. He did the latter at least twice. Its not OK for Sutton to say an insult at them but he can clearly call fans idiots?? We've always known Sutton isn't clever enough to debate he only says his piece when he has his own platform.
  16. Not much games this weekend. The game at Goodison is a tough call and could go either way. WBA could get to 1 point of Everton if they won so it gives the game an edge. Pulis would be contender for manager of the year if he got WBA 7th. Bournemouth 1-2 West Ham Everton 2-1 West Brom Hull 1-1 Swansea Liverpool 2-0 Burnley
  17. Agreed and I hope he gets the time. Marco Silva mindset rather than Delia mindset.
  18. Neutral ground and in the FINAL - that wins it for me but its very close. Good comments on your last post about visit to Nou Camp - went there for the tour years ago and an immense stadium. Would love to have seen a game. If thats what you think about Messi imagine how good it would have been to seen Maradona live.
  19. Well it would be good to finally get it over the line. A very intriguing appointment which does bring a tad of excitement. I dont get the impression it will be a new PLG, I would suggest he is a bit mentally tougher than PLG was and there isnt bad apples in the dressing room like 2006.
  20. There was a debate about the best comeback. Liverpool v Milan or Barca v PSG. I have to give it to Barca as liverpool got 45 minutes to score 3 and then won it on pens. Barca needed 4 without conceding just to level the tie. And considering they needed 3 goals with 2 mins of normal time. But I had no doubt they would do it before the game, I thought they would win 5-0, glad I didnt bet that now and stuck with half time full time. Man Utds 99 final wasnt exactly a comeback but still wins the best turnaround of all time.
  21. That's the title done now, City were the only side with a half chance of catching Chelsea. Im annoyed I didn't back a draw. When I was putting my Barca bet on I dabbled with it.
  22. That was awesome. Imagine if Barca never switched off for 20 mins when PSG scored. I couldn't work out why they stopped, they were still more than capable of scoring. It took Neymars free kick in the 88th min to get them going again. but once the 5th went in you knew it was coming. I had the easiest bet in the world on - Barca half time full time at evens. That was crazy odds.
  23. A lot of arsenal fans saying they want to finish out the top 4 so he goes but thats suicide. If they dont get top 4 their new managr wont have the spending power like Chelsea last summer to get back in the top 4. Their good players will leave and they would be overtaken by Everton and Liverpool for sure and end up 7th. Wenger either needs to stop being stubborn and start buying world class players plus have a plan B or walk away after getting the club into top 4 for next seasons CL so a new man can come in and have something to attract players. Looking forward to seeing Barca tonight - if ever a wounded animal is going to come out all guns blazing its going to be Barca tonight and they will believe they can turn it around. They may score 5 but PSG may get a goal or two themselves.
  24. Oosh, 5-1 for Munich. Arsenal are just awful in big games.
  25. Since when has he been a scout anyway?
