    No suggestions???
  2. All 360 games were on here live except 3 fixtures yesterday had to go onto internet because they dont have enough channels. And thats why these clubs get so much money.

I'll hit some comments though Pete. Overall I think things need to be put into perspective. Coming back up through the leagues and not knowing what to expect. But we showed we are still better than 38 clubs in the country during a poor all round attempt. Warburton has just proved to be a full tank of fuel when we ran out but in a cheap car. And Im sure overall Ally is liked more than him for what they did. As for David Weir - he lost respect. Performances - Well Ive never seen the fans so split on opinions on players. Waghorn, Miller and Garner are the main one. 1 out of 3 get pass marks for me...and its the ageing one. Dissapointed in Waghorn as I felt he had the ability to step up but his finishing hasnt been great. Garner - Im just not a fan of this workman like ship putting himself about player. Ok he has scored about 5 goals and they seem to have turned out important which papers over cracks for me but I hope he is shacked up in Barnsley or Wigan by the end of the month. Pedro - Jury is out. I like what I hear but dont like what I see in big games. Yet I like what I see by having faith in youth and being a bit no nonsense - the next 2 months is going to be interesting. Just brainstorming here but Im sure others will add.

I was going to but there are far more qualified posters who see every game who would be better placed.
  5. Newcastle Leeds and Derby have had grounds like Villa Park, Hillsborough etc where allocation would be bigger compared to SPL which makes that figures even better. And they had 23 away games compared to our 19.
  6. Look forward to battling wits against you next season.

    Alves coming

BH listed potential opponents a while back which should be narrowed down now. It contained teams from Ireland, Wales and Iceland etc. I dont fancy Red Star in any qualifying game, they are still a good side.
  8. But that is a friendly warm up tournament. Not since Bobby Carlos free kick in France 97 has it had any interest. But it means another summer of football for Sanchez as Chile are in it being Copa America winners. Thats 3 summers in a row for him. He will eventually burn out at 28/29. Arsenal should keep him for one more good season and he may realise he needs a deal sooner rather than later during next season, alternatively take a silly deal for him and only lose his quality for a year because he looks knackered and will start to go downhill.
  9. No footy this summer, but before the sun comes out a few games to be decided. Ajax v Man Utd - Come on Ajax. But I think Man Utd will win. Real Madrid v Juventus - Wanted Juve and have thought its their year since the last 16 but may sway towards Real. Huddersfield v Reading - Said Reading at the start of the play offs, wont change my mind. Dundee Utd v Hamilton - Actually think Dundee Utd will come up. Scotland v England - This could be a licking. 3-0 England.

A good season review from someone would be good.

When is the draw for Europa? I just looked at all the Euro tables and the leagues are pretty much over.
  13. They have just been very poor at home and need proper dealings in the transfer market this summer. There isnt much between Southampton in 8th and Watford in 17th, 2 games / wins could swing that. This summer will see a mass of manager changes and players changes. But I hope Bilic gets another year and proper backing. Hart, Zabaleta, Wilshire and Defoe all linked and would be good signings. Manager of the year is between Conte, Poch and Eddie Howe.
  14. So final positions Chelsea - outstanding performances. Spurs - rampant but can they continue Man City - not so bad in the end. Liverpool - Job done for Klopp. Arsenal - poor season. Man Utd - poor again in the league. Everton - the best of the rest Southampton - Good final position. Bournemouth - outstanding to get a top half finish West Brom - gave up in March - must be dissappointed to lose 8th West Ham - poor first season but not a bad end Leicester - Rightly position to be honest. Stoke - average season Palace - escape done Swansea - good finish Burnley - job done, fair play Watford - slipped like a stone but safe Hull - good effort from Silva but down Boro - poor effort Sunderland - awful
  15. And Aberdeen are 4 up at Thistle. We need to improve. Yet Once they fall of their pedestal they will slip up far more.
  16. Hopefully been then subject of a bid down south.
  17. Ooosh what a inexperienced team. Keeper and 3 of the back 4. Big statement from PC.
  18. What rumour is that? No way will that happen. Im sure Jonathan Johansson is working behind the scenes about players and will have a saying and knows Levein is a no-go to be anywhere near Ibrox.
  19. 1 or 2 never did much harm pre 2012. We actually had some decent signings. Davie Robertson and Andy Goram didnt do much wrong and Im sure the Boyd fans will add him. Ok we have had some stinkers like Gow and Bollan but always judge a player after he has kicked a few balls. Last few years is a harsh judgement - there were players we needed to actually complete a squad so I dont begrudge much due to the circumstances despite performances. The old saying Rome wasnt built in a day - 1 or 2 SPL signings may be good to mix with players from abroad - they will know the league and lets face it we need a few fresh faces.

    But under very different circumstances.
  21. I think Rousseau posted a good article about how the tough tackling centre midfielder has gone - yet the Scottish game could be different, the standard is still rough and tumble most of the time. Whilst I dont see Kranjcar as the midfield general I do see him more as a playmaker going forward and having a Stuart McCall in the side would get the best out of him.
  22. I think Wilson would be good next to Alves, he has done well in the past when with someone experienced. But old school 2 centre half rocks would be good.
  23. So back to this thread with a lot of talks over the last days. Obviously this isnt the finished article but until we get signings near over the line we cant put them in. Foderingham Tavernier Alves Wilson Wallace Rossister Windass Jack Kranjcaer Dodoo Miller Of course 3 more names in Alves mould added to that XI in place of some players is what we want or if Pedro unearths a couple of unknown gems from Mexico or Portugal. Beerman may take over Wallace long term in that side. Im not so sure Jack will be a starter as I dont know enough about him. Windass is a bit of a hollywood player who has a touch of talent bursting forward but needs to add a lot more to his all round game. Although Ive put Dodoo in he just cant seem to get a run of games for anything yet always impresses coming off the bench. McKay is another talent but continues to raise doubts with some due to inconsistency yet I would like to see him kick on and stay. Holt will be a good squad player but Halliday can probably move on. Upfront Miller will be a key squad player next season. I was a Waghorn fan but convinced now he should leave along with Garner. Waghorn just hasnt taken enough of his chances over the season. Others - Forrester has seem to just disappear and O Hallaran is clearly not wanted by Pedro. Obviously Toral and Hyndman are away back to their clubs with Hill and Senderos let go. Bates will be a squad player and Kiernan may leave also. Matt Crooks is the final name - no idea what will happen with him. But a lot of surgery needed overall but with time restraints it may take more than one window. Balancing time to get players in with those out is risky for Euro deadlines and also costly if we cant offload players after signings so the chances are a few players who we thought would leave may still be on the books next season.

Agree with JFK there. The end of season feel to this game with the possibility of players knowing they wont be at Ibrox next season meant a no show. Had there been something to play for I wouldnt have expected a defeat. They had to win again at Ibrox sometime and it is against a poor Gers team that wont be playing together in a few weeks then so be it. We went to pittodrie and thumped them and in the first half were far the better side and possibly the best Ive seen us play this season in that 45 minutes.
