    Sadly, such is my mistrust of the Club's PR machine, I wouldn't be surprised if the post was made by an agent provocateur working for Irvine.

    You are not comparing like with like. Anyone who bought shares through the RST is unlikely to have done so to take money out of the club, whereas the people who are behind these anonymous investment vehicles will be looking to take money out, so it would be useful to know who they are and have a look at how they have handled other investments they may have.

    It was Paul Murray's money, say what you like about him, but he seems to be about the only person involved in this, who hasn't been making money out of Rangers.

    It would also help if the BBC wasn't the first port of call for Irvine and the Easedales when they want to get their propaganda out.

    I'm not convinced that there is an organised conspiracy against Rangers, but I know from personal experience that a lot of people from a "Celtic minded" background, do find it very difficult to be objective when it comes to anything to do with Rangers.

    The claim was that Sandy Easdale didn't own the shares that he said he did. McMurdo helpfully confirmed that he didn't own them, thus proving Easedale to be spreading a few porkies.

    That's a problem for the sellers - they had the contract with Sevco, so if there's a breach, it's D&P who are in the firing line.

    Even if that is right, he still doesn't own what he claims he owns and after all the crap the support has been through, you would think people would be careful to make sure that anything they say is 100% accurate.

    I never really understood why he was there at all...no matter how short of bodies we were, there always seemed to be an extreme reluctance to give him a game.

    McMurdo also said that the Easdales would be taking over - contradicting his own statement from a day or so previously.

    Do we know that he did bet against Rangers...I haven't seen anything that tells us clearly what his bet was that day.
