  1. If the Board are so confident of winning a vote, why are they using underhand tactics to try and prevent any one else being nominated? The share price is affected by numerous factors, not just the annual accounts.
  2. Thery want to do something and the NOMAD won't let them and they are trying to find one that will.
  3. What does a NOMAD do?
  4. There's a link on Chris Graham's twitter feed - but here is the notice... 1 October 2013 Rangers International Football Club plc ("Rangers" or the "Company") Appointment of Nominated Adviser The Company is pleased to announce that Daniel Stewart & Company plc ("Daniel Stewart") has been appointed as Nominated Adviser to the Company with immediate effect. 5. I see we've changed our broker as well today - is that significant?
  6. I'll do a little "opinion shopping" of my own and wait till our resident Gersnet accountants give us their considered opinions.
  7. They are rejecting the latest resolution from the concerned shareholders tryting to get new Directors appointed.
  8. It's an old tactic - smear your enemies with what folk fear you're going to do yourself! (staff cull and sale and leaseback of Ibrox etc)
  9. I may be wrong, but I don't remember any of the Board's mouthpieces mentioning an application for interdict. It has usually been presented as a case of Leggate "bottling it"
  10. The Court's will grant an interim interdict "on the balance of convenience" test, with the full case to be heard at a later date. Perhaps they're just trying to kick it into touch until something turns up - one way or the other.
  11. Personally , I would have included Gunslinger and Forlansister!
  12. The truth may set us free - but unfortunately presenting the truth in court can be expensive! I'm pretty sure the Board will spend our last penny fighting their case.
  13. "The IPO stated we would need further investment at some point, that point will be determined by how fast the rebels devalue the brand. I don't know much about the youth setup but Mather must have did alright as he got promoted to CEO and got Walter's seal of approval." The share price was dropping rapidly before almost 28% of shareholders signed a requisition to force change - the brand was devaluing quite nicely without them doing anything. When he resigned as Chairman Walter advised people to support the resolution to remove Mather and others as Directors. Mather is part of a Board which Walter described as dysfunctional. If Mather is so good why does he go running off for other people to help him, first Green then Irvine, when he has a problem. His appointment of Irvine was really quite funny when you remember Irvine's comments about him after the meeting with the fan's reps - No one with any self respect would have went to MH after being the target of one of their spins.
  14. Will Leggate have the money to defend the Board's application for a permanent interdict?
  15. What does it matter if it is £40- 50 million or £70 million, it is still a lunatic amount of money to have spent.
  16. There's plenty of good songs that don't contain stuff that gets us into trouble. I love the Blue Blue Sea of Ibrox for example.
  17. Songs about Sands are not sectarian - as was pointed out by Peter Kearney the RC Church spokesman, sectarianism by definition relates to religion and chants about Sands are based on his terrorist activities not his religion. Whether we should be singing about him at all. is of course another question.
  18. Showing up Ahmed was in Rangers best interests.
  19. He's not the only Rangers supporter who has criticized the song book - some of the songs belong in the past
  20. Why did they need the loan in the first place - weren't they supposed to have sufficient funds in place to both buy and run the Club at the outset? or was that just more of Charles Green's moonshine? The fact that they needed to the loan suggests that they were not at all organised. It's a good job Naismith and co walked or the Club would have been in real trouble.
  21. Sadly there are still those who are blind to all the evidence and support the Board. They seem happy, so long as Paul Murray and some guy who runs another forum are getting stuffed.
  22. Gibbon's only interest in Rangers, is seeing us fail.
  23. McMurdo should stick to propagating his rather odd views on Christianity.
