  1. The loan was still due by the Company (legal but not moral or ethical) , Ticketus thought they then owned the rights to a number of season tickets for a number of years and that this right protected them in an administration. Unluckily for them, they didn't realise that Scots Law and English Law were different and that under Scots Law they had no real right over the season tickets and were only ordinary creditors.
  2. Thats wrong, we owed ticketus every single penny Whyte got from them.
  3. Thats the question though, who is major and who is minor. The institutional Investors behind Murray et all, or the block which the Eadales front?
  4. Mather and Smart are just pawns. The real questions involve the Easdales and King. It would seem that the Esadales don't want King involved and Mather and Smart have paid the price for inviting him.
  5. Is it significant that MH are not mentioned in the footnotes at the bottom of the stockexchange notice - they usually are.
  6. There's n argument that his post as CE is redundant, since the Easdales are apparantly running things on a day to day basis anyway.
  7. I just assumed that meant that he'd finally saw through Jack Irvine!
  8. The timing would suggest this. They go to King followed positive statements about him coming on Board, at the same time Irvine is spinning against King, then there is an addition to the statement on the website which is less enthusiastic about King and now Mather and Smart go, both of whom were said to want King on Board
  9. The shareholders supporting the proposed new Directors have put in a lot more money that Mather. The fact that the Board fought so hard to avoid an election and with Mather now resigning strongly suggests that the Board are the minority
  10. or could it be that the Easdales have forced him out because of his attempts to bring King on board? There have been persistent rumors that the Easdales are running the Club on a day to day basis.
  11. wikepedia is not a reliable source for anything.
  12. They seem to have been trying to argue that the notices hadn't been signed properly and spent money trying to prove that, when it didn't matter how they had been signed.
  13. Anybody notice the double negative in the last paragraph?
  14. Those in power weren't elected - no one knows how much support they have among the shareholders. The requisitioners put forward the nominations are shareholders as well, how much such they have among other shareholders remains to be seen,
  15. if south he'd be Harris.
  16. I wonder if it is a communication issue or is there now a split between the Easale Grouping and CM and BS?
  17. Doesn't the paragraph added by the Company contradict what Mather's statement on Friday seemed to be saying?
  18. Some of the charlotte fakes stuff showed that the contract had been novated to Sevco Scotland, which means that Sevco 588 or someone on it's behalf agreed to the transfer of the right to purchase to Sevco Scotland. The signature of one director is enough for a document to be legally binding. The alternative is that Sevco 5088 didn't agree and D& P went ahead and sold to Sevco Scotland without 5088's agreement. 5088 would then have remedies against D& P for breach of contract. You would have thought that if they hadn't agreed to the transfer of the contact they would have tried to exercise those remedies as soon the sale to Sevco Scotland was announced.
  19. This includes negotiating with Strathclyde's finest "not" to charge a certain manager of another club for racial and sectarian abuse. evidence please. Allowing most media outlets to have a free for all against our club and its supporters without defending them once in a court of law. Yes, trying to defend the Billy Boys song in court would have been a great success Vastly increasing his salary when our club had to downsize and reduce debt. The Board of Directors sets the Chief Executive's salary Forcing the sale of certain players and lying to them personally about it. (Pedro Mendes being just one example). evidence please. If Dave King returns there is a strong chance that this chancer will be making an appearance as well. Is this Jack's latest pr spin against King?
  20. I agree - Internationals should be kept for midweek.
  21. Yes, you've got to wonder where Mather fits in, in the Easdale/Irvine grand scheme of things.
  22. no doubt various references to SA Tax thing, SFA fit and proper person test and so on
  23. Gerry Neef was in goal for my first ever Rangers game a league cup section tie v Raith Rovers. He got knocked out if I remember correctly.
  24. Having already lost so much money, I can't imagine King will be willing to invest a significant amount unless he has complete control.
