  1. You'd almost think he was trying to deflect attention from the arrests and the news that Green's takeover is being investigated - surely not?
  2. Even if fraud is proved, it changes nothing, the debts that brought about administration and liquidation were due to innocent third parties.. The liquidation can't be reversed, unless someone is willing to pump in a huge amount of money to pay off the debts and expenses.
  3. It was hardly any worse than the bid the administrators accepted from Green - they gave him the SPL Prize Money (which Green then managed to lose, but that's another story). The champions leagues stuff was just one minor element in it, an element which the toxic PR machine spun like mad
  4. iIf the administrators have been arrested does this suggest that Greens' purchase is fraudulent?
  5. Oh yeh..he's done such a good job with Newcastle!
  6. The Club has no right to expect my money, it has to earn it and quite frankly it has not - from a convicted criminal in the boardroom to the performances on the pitch it is failing hoplessly
  7. It;s a comfort to know that the Club's interests are in such good hands.
  8. I worry that we'll sell whoever is sellable, and then use the money to fund some loan players from Newcastle United, which helps their profitability and thus helps their ultimate owner.
  9. Ashley's business career suggests that he doesn't pay much attention to rules and agreements
  10. In a sense there's always been unofficial merchandise - a fair number of clubs have produced their own sweaters and tea shirts, with the logo of that particular supporters club on it. If the RST merchandise is along those lines then that's fine by me. I don't buy tops etc - I'm over 50 and a couple of stone over weight, so I just look ludicrous in sports wear.
  11. Wasn't there a journalist who claimed that Ashley got his contracts because Green owed him money for something else?
  12. Are SD still sitting on the Club's share of the money due from the strips etc?
  13. and of course it will all be the SFAs fault because they wouldn't let Ashley increase his shareholding and the only way he could "help" was by a loan. It's obvious how they will spin it and some of our support will lap it all up.
  14. you don't become as rich as King is by allowing sentiment to govern your employment policy.
  15. You'd have thought Cowdenbeath would have preferred to play us with Moshi in the team!
  16. There's been a range of issues...the two idiots with their home made attempts at bombs, the threats of physical violence made to a number of individuals and groups (including some of our own supporters ) during the the administration and it's aftermath. There seems to be an element among our support whose first instinct when there's a problem is to start throwing threats around. On the other hand there have been amazing displays of dignity and solidarity, like the march to Hampden, which are inspirational and the attendances in Division 2 and 3, but then there always seems to be some idiots among our support ready to do the wrong thing at the wrong time and give our detractors another stick to beat us with.
  17. I don't think or want all Rangers Supporters to have the same views as mine. But there is a difference between having political views and associating with a bunch of racist thugs. Likewise I don't expect to be told I'm not a true Rangers supporter because of my political views.
  18. I find myself in the same position as the OP. The fact that there were guys in Rangers tops running about with the "Scottish" Defence League the other night really made me ask if it is worth it any more.
  19. I f things keep going the way they are, poor displays on the field, disharmony off it, bad publicity like the George Square thing, the attitude of some of the support towards their fellow supporters who voted yes, then we won't need a formal boycott, more and more supporters will simply give up
