Should We Attempt To Sell And Leaseback Ibrox?
CumbernauldGers replied to caseyjones's topic in Rangers Chat
I voted no because at the moment we dont know BM plans for Rangers, but i would agree we need to get sponsorship fr Ibrox and make money that way. -
Good to hear from him but lets face it, Kennedy has done what he wanted, loads of press coverage and no real bid. He has played this very well.
-
I can only thank him for everything he has given to Rangers, been a good player. Good luck to him when he moves on.
-
Tbh mate i agree with you, it's more comedy gold everyday now. I judt dont see a way back for alot of our fans, not because i dont think there is 1 more the fact that they are out of control with there lies and spin.
-
Ha not arcording to ff mate, they have a big thread that claims he has no passport, which could be true but my god it's worth a read that thread if you want a good laugh.
-
I dont think there will be 1 Rangers fan that would accept anybody without questioning them mate tbh, i have seen no evidence on any forums of this or anywhere else.
-
One simple question then for you, and i have asked every single person this question that have had a go at anybody other than TBK buying Rangers this but i have yet to have a responce. If not Miller, then whats your alternative ? As TBK dont have the means or will not spend the money needed.
-
I voted yes to back him until otherwise proved i should not. Until somebody shows me a better bid then it's him.
-
It was not a go at anybody at Ibrox at the moment, just an honest view on where were at. Lets face it apart from a few years we have spent money and more money and got nowhere apart from 1 final and a few SPL titles. Now i'm not saying this is a good place to be in, but i hope Rangers learn from this and use it as an opertunity to re-invent the club as a proper football playing club that produces good young players.
-
I agree that it applies to Rangers going forward in terms of spending what we earn but i dont think these laws will ever apply to the likes of Man City, Barca and Madrid. They just cant it's that simple, not the way these clubs run and will continue to do so. The big question for Rangers going forward is how do we intend on living within our means? What i mean is clubs that survive and prosper in this way are very well run, they have great scouting networks, great coaching, buy low and sell high type of stuff. Now lets fact it Rangers for the last 20 years and more have been the complete oposite of this. Do we have the right manager, scouts, coaches to do this? I would say no on all counts.

Brian Kennedy/Blue Knights statement
CumbernauldGers replied to forlanssister's topic in Rangers Chat
I thank the op for the statement. To me it was the kind of statement from TBK i was expecting. We tried everything but it's all D & P fault type of thing. I think now is not the time for worrying and argueing over TBK, they are old news now and imo never ever going to buy Rangers. -
The RST told us to 'keep our powder dry'
CumbernauldGers replied to MoodyBlue's topic in Rangers Chat
I know mate but really what can we do? The guy should get the chance to tell people his plans then people can say yes or no. Also, i if Miller walked away, what next? TBK dont look like they could be a used car never mind a football club. -
Bill Miller named as preferred bidder by RFC
CumbernauldGers replied to Bears's topic in Rangers Chat
Well it's a good luck to him from me, lets just wait and see his plans first and take it from there. We cant do anything else as TBK will never put a decent bid in. -

Just on the whole FF thing, has anybody looked on there today? It's just a joke what some of them are posting about Miller. But they have been fed so many lies and spin i suppose you cant blame them. I just think we need to give the guy a chance and see what happens, what else can we do? -

I agree mate, he should be given a chance to expalin his plans for the club. But we should be questioning as much as we can. I'm happy with this as i dont think TBK were ever going to get a bid that was close to been good enough. -
Rangers retire the number 12 shirt in tribute to the fans
CumbernauldGers replied to bigy's topic in Rangers Chat
Dont think i was doing that tbh, just offering my view on the thing. -

I agree with bluedell tbh, it bows to the fans that think they run the club. Very very tacky. -

FF has been shocking today, MD should never be allowed near Ibrox again. FF today has been one long propaganda trip. I'm not saying that Miller would be great for Rangers but the way MD has been going on today confirms to me the supporters groups are finished in there present form. -

My point was in terms of who owned the club and what they did with it tbh. But i get your point about the march. -

Can you name these situations? Just as a matter of interest. -

Cant agree with the last bit mate, if the last 20 years have told us anything it's this. The supporters group have no power and no say on who owns Rangers or what they do with the club. The main problem is the people running these groups think they do, thats what going wrong. -
Cant agree with that part craig, it will always be DM for me. He started this with the over spending, the tax case, selling to CW shafting the fans. It will always be him for me.
-
Good point mate, it just went dead with them. Tbh i just want it over with what ever happens and we can work from there.
-
Tbh mate we will never know, but PM now has this bid and the so-called bid before CW took over. I can only go on this, he has had alot to say and very little action when he has had the chance.
-
Was always going to happen, TBK have been all hot air from day 1 imo.
