Agreed GA. I was at Ibrox recently on a Friday taking some pics of the Old Lady - just passing time - and tbh I never realised how bad the copy of the CR gates were compared to the BR gates, I always thought they were reasonably close. I've looked again at the pics I took that day and have just realised how such a poor copy the CR really gates are. Here's a couple of pics I took..... Picture of Broomloan gates :):) ....and the poor imitation version at the Copland end :shock: Hope they get that sorted. Excellent read OP.

Let's all hope Gazza can see something other than a bottle in front of him...tragic tale Good luck Paul.

I've heard CG is going to the land of the law to put us into the English football league. I'm posting this is because I think this is the only way forward realistically for RFC now, we won 5 battles last decade with some memorable games along the way and gleefully added to our impressive World record of domestic titles during that time, fast forward we then had to endure some cranked up kangaroo court to retain those achievements being accused as 'cheats' of all things, and when we rightly managed to avoid serious questions of our integrity the voices from the darkside displayed that ugly face of the Celtic manager spouting how they are in a better place than us. Let's leave the mhanky fhlops of mhiserable hoopy land to their 'success' so's we can move on to pastures new. I don't want a dignified proud Rangers FC to provide them with a football game ever again, they f**kin' don't deserve us, they insulted us. Is a move to England a possibility? Or is it just a CG moonbeam?

We should keep Ally move to England and sack him when we fail to get a promotion. Then a message will be sent out to the football world - We mean business.
-
What a superb pic that is and well done to those that do their research. Must add though - Rangers had some Committee....
-
If we had been stripped of titles it would have been because we were found guilty of 'cheating' the very reason Juve were stripped of theirs, Walter maybe should just move on now and stop reminding us of that painful time. Shoosh Walter.

Charles Green will hand Ally his cards, that is as certain as night follows day due to the man's obvious inability as a manager. There is no harder job in the country right now and as far as an attractive career option goes there won't be many out there wanting to take it on. Looking back over the season Ally done his best and delivered what the club had to achieve - promotion to the next tier - next season will be much like this one, games against dire opposition who really don't deserve to be on the same billing as us. Ally might well be here next season to repeat the feat of this season with a packed out Ibrox every second week and a massive points gap at the end, but if the club want to return to the very top then he's not the man for the job and CG will already know this. Btw, thanks Coisty you're still and always will be a true Rangers Legend. That will never be in doubt.

No trophy for winning a title? That's original - and stupid! -
Yeah Ally...do the right thing please.

Rangers 'have agreed Ibrox renaming deal with Sports Direct'
54andcounting replied to simplythebest's topic in Rangers Chat
....sell sell sell, it's the 21st century ffs. Gay rights too. Can just see a gay man and his likewise getting married in the Sports Direct Stadium in the future. I'll just have to f**kin' follow on. -
I'll tell ye..Davie Provan? I loved it when my hero Willie 'Bud' Johnston took the piss out of you at a throw-in at ceptic park and set up a last minute winner for Alex Miller, I loved it when 'Bud' stamped on you while playing for Hearts in a game vs the scum years later. I loved Willie and hated you Davy Provan of ceptic. A lot of water has passed under the bridge since those days and my opinion of you has never changed. But the above comments have changed my thought about you the '***** bastard' Good on ye Davy 'bout time too.

We quite rightly shout about our World Record 54 Titles. And if we can be totally honest with ourselves we at times thought nobody else cared about the record but us and maybe our record wasn't important at all to anybody else. But hey! It is important to others than just ourselves. We've all read blogs and stuff over the years and on YouTube condemning our 54 titles as cannon fodder, 10 of the titles aren't worth 1 European Cup and all that shite. Just this week it was confirmed what we already knew...timmy doesn't like our 54 titles they are a blight on them they wanted to rob & steal 5 of them off us and present it to themselves How classy is that? Thank God for common sense and a helluva fight it remains 54 and counting.

Daughter fell in love with one, what should I have done?...why did it have to happen to me mate:D Catholic schools and all that Ach well. Just got to get on with it...but will admit I wish it had been one of us. Have another grand wean who my son and him are season ticket holders at Ibrox - he loves it, nothing is more exciting for him than going to Ibrox - a complete die hard already at 10 y.o. I was going to join them this season but after the 2-2 game vs Peterhead I decided to opt out after watching that game. I've promised to join them next season, but I doubt it unless we have changes in the managing staff we'll have to wait and see - you know what I think of the way we ply our trade on the park not happy with our management team saw it on day 1 of the league season. Onwards and upwards

If Charles want's to write a book and set his family up for life, then I don't have a problem with that. As far as I'm concerned the guy deserves everything he earns - if he drops us like a hot potato in a couple of years time I'll maybe change my opinion. Btw, I took my two grandchildren (4 & 7) to Ibrox Stadium on Friday afternoon to pass the day (they are thoroughbred Celtic fans with season tickets) they enjoyed the afternoon as I took pics of them at various parts of the Stadium and in the shop (a stunt to wind up the in-laws ) I happened to meet Mr Green coming out of the Govan Stand end and he was a perfect obliging gentleman as he posed with my two for pics - meeting him like that was an honour. Nice bonus pics for the in-laws too it must be said.

Joke Club At The Top Of A Joke League - Must Listen!
54andcounting replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
The reaction from the guys after the statement was read out caught me by surprise. Wonderful piece of radio. -
Good read. Something else about that excruciating man Spiers...why did he feel the need to have a go at Charles Green by saying he (CG) wasn't bothered about title stripping until he heard the fans view on it, causing him to change his mind and stand up against the stripping of titles? Why the **** did he bring that into the debate? What did that have to do with it? It's so bloody obvious he's hurting like nothing before - what a horrible little bitter creep of a man, shouldn't be allowed on our tv sets.

A wee bit like the current 'Gers defence.

Nice to hear 'outsiders' saying nice things about the club, very refreshing. Paolo Mortarotti, Managing Director of The Shepton Mallet Cider Company, owners of Blackthorn Cider said: "The Rangers fans' reaction to the Club's recent troubles has been remarkable and we are immensely proud to partner with the Club. Blackthorn is a popular cider both in Scotland and across the UK and we believe this partnership with Rangers will help deliver our ambitious growth plans for the brand. "We wish Rangers every success this season and look forward to supporting the Club as it continues its journey back to the top flight of Scottish football." http://announce.ft.com/Detail/?DocKey=1323-11504442-1H7HGRQVOUDFQMETE6ICP00J13
