The bbc have a record of being shameless...don't see why the Easdales should be regarded as shameless though, it's on a BUS ffs!! -

:sleep:Maybe the Easdales are 'The Saviours Of Rangers Football Club'? Or has no-one thought of that yet? -
Not sure if Moyes is the right man to follow him...but who is?

Always wonder where we would be if he hadn't knocked us back, b@stard.

New photographs of First Ibrox from 1897.
54andcounting replied to Steve1872's topic in Rangers Chat
Found this picture on RM it shows First Ibrox over the current location, as can be seen by this excellent illustration the stadium was a lot closer to Ibrox Terrace back then. -
The only way the game can be 'saved' will be if Rangers are part of it. Money talks. If the game folds then so do Rangers. Self interest works both ways. I believe Rangers will be playing in this so called Championship next season because another year like last year will see some fans especially the younger fans lost to the game forever. Okay the Rangers fans will always come back once we are challenging for the main title, but by then the games a bogey no-one outside Scotland will be interested anymore, the Sky money will go to the English lower divisions and stay there.

East section tonight's scores: Cowdenbeath 3-3 Raith Rovers Stenhousemuir 0-1 Livingston Table: Livingston........7..6..0..1..18...3..18 Stenhousemuir.8..3..2..3..16..11..11 Cowdenbeath...7..2..2..3..10..16...8 East Fife..........5..2..1..2..10...3...7 Raith Rovers.....7..1..1..5...8..24...4 Livingston will finish as section winners. Cowdenbeath and more realistically East Fife can still catch Stenhousemuir who have played all their games.

The 'play-offs' next season will give Rangers a 'safety-net' for getting back up if we fail to finish as champions. How to convince the fans to buy ST's won't depend on what league we are in. (or it may just)

All the guys who messed up will be gone by the time we arrive...absolute certainty

I honestly believe Rangers are involved in this development. Expect an invite and an acceptance from the club. How they are going to convince the Gers fans this is the way ahead should be interesting. We should be able to attract a player of a decent level to take us back to the top league, if everything goes to plan 55 can be achieved in season 2014-15 and CL qualification in 2015-16. I'd bite that hand off.

Looking back over all the games we played...Lee Wallace was easily the most consistent (and most skillful) player on the pitch...then again - he played Left Back all season - his position.
-
...he looked pretty rotten tbh among older/fatter guys desperately tried to impress and flopped big time. No killer touch at all.

Celtic to close part of their stadium???
54andcounting replied to Darthter's topic in General Football Chat
Their safety certificate runs out this year, that could have something to do with it. I heard way back their stadium was built with 'Lego' material and wouldn't last until 2013 so might be the reason for shutting down parts of it. Can't imagine the mhanks cutting corners to keep up with us would they? Always was.....always will be the piggery tho' -
Managers love big spending budgets...if Ally gets what he wants he'll take Rangers to new heights, that's the theory.
