  1. Earlier today I google searched for something to do with Rangers and the 'search engine' highlighted a Celtic forum. I know I shouldn't have done it but out of sheer curiosity I clicked on it. The forum which I won't name has a very similar layout to the Gersnet Forum, only difference is the colour scheme and obviously the comments. The part I was directed to was a poll they are conducting on who they'd like as their next manager if TLB moves to Everton, there were about a dozen names to choose from. I can't remember who was leading the poll with 36 votes but Ally McCoist was second choice on 32. I scrolled through some of the posts and found one dhims reason for selecting Ally was because he was the first manager in history to win 55 titles in one season. Now that's funny - it's called football banter. But there the banter ends....can you imagine Gersnet having a thread dedicated solely to THEM? No me neither, but that forum has one for us, just US! As I said earlier the layout of their forum is similar to Gersnet, Where we have 'footy chat' they have 'scottish football chat'. A thread in there started 17 June 2012 (11 months ago), I wont bother to give it's 'title' but it's full of hatred for Rangers, no surprise there...here are the stats of the thread: Pages: 1,800 + Replies: 27,000 + Views: 1,655,000 + ??????? How much more obsessive can anything be? Btw, I'd like to add - I will never 'click' on one of those forums ever again. I promise you.
  2. If Strathclyde Police have informed this matter is currently the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation, then does that not mean HMRC could have reported it to police?
  3. The agent for Racing Santander loan defender Carlos Bocanegra says his client is sorting through potential destination for a summer move, both back home and abroad. The 33-year-old centre back, who still has four games remaining with the Segunda División survivalists, is due to revert back to being a Rangers player at the end of June. However, Bocanegra appears eager to find a new club instead of suiting up in the Scottish third flight until his contract runs out at the end of next season. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2013/05/13/american-exports-carlos-bocanegra-likely-move-again-mls-remains-possibility?
  4. All very depressing. If what Frankie says is indeed true: "One camp is hoping to cling to power (or rather keep the share price high to make money in a sale). Meanwhile, the opposing camp is hoping to seize power (or rather force the share price down to make the cost of buying the club more affordable) Then has anyone got an opinion on what would be the best outcome for the club and it's supporters?
  5. No idea, but I'd guess some sport stadium in America
  6. That's not the pigsty Gaz
  7. Cammy Bell can actually become THE Goalie! Some comparison that. He has a good record against THEM though, in the last couple of years he's had 3 motm performances helping his club to narrow victories - including the 2012 league cup final and Killie's first win at the piggery for 57 years. So he has good experience. He'll do for me.
  8. I remember that day well...it was easy those days to drive to the game and buy a ticket from the many guys holding up spare tickets. I couldn't get one that day for love nor money. I trooped glumly back to the car 15 minutes into the kick-off and found a ticket stuck on my windscreen. I paid the fine, but we won the league.
  9. He's a thief, so painting and gardening probably wouldn't appeal to him. What he could do is break into a celtic shop steal 20k worth of goods flog it for the above debt pay it off get caught and do time for that theft. That would redeem him.
  10. Matthew Lindsay, yesterday. It's in the 5th/6th paragraph of the article.
  11. Nacho and Nicky Clark are both 5' 9" Ally's a full 1 inch taller at 5' 10"
  12. It's time we got those poor looking seats in the Stadium sorted...shocking state of affairs
  13. Great memories...at the time I never believed in all hope we'd reach a European final in my lifetime, but since that I've been of the opinion 'never say never' then I read this part........ Are the mHedia piss taking or is this a real possibility?
  14. Last night's game between the Swifts and QP finished 1-1. West Section is now complete... Rangers will be at home in the Semi-Final, and Queen's Park will be away to Livingston. East Fife must play Livingston (14th May) Cowdenbeath (17th May) and Raith (date tba) and if they can obtain 4/5pts or more from those matches they will pass Stenhousemuir to set-up an away tie against the Swifts. The tables: - http://www.scottishfootballleague.com/football/reserve/reserve-football/reserve-tables/ Edit: time has run out to finish off the competition Will more likely be concluded in the build-up towards next season. Ach well. Edit: This Global Warming is one pain in the arse
  15. What? So Whyte lied again and everyone believed him. Wow!
  16. Dealing drugs? Rape? Knee capping? Murder? Rape? I mention rape twice 'cos I like it haha only kidding.
  17. Don't agree with that. A) Rangers aren't the property of the fans...never have been. B) Rangers are 'The World's Most Successful Club'
  18. WE made our bed. I crave to be back playing serious football again with 'real' titles at stake and putting ourselves about in Europe again like what our club has a reputation for. If some fans want to bat the ball back and say 'not for me' then I'm sick of it.
  19. Reconstruction is on the agenda for one reason only, Scottish football as we well know relies solely on Rangers & Celtic it's been like that for most of the time except in exceptional circumstances which may never occur again....Dunfermline, Hearts, Livingston and the rest can go to the wall it doesn't matter, but if 'the' Rangers and Celtic thing goes everything else goes with it, like what's happening right now - one horse has left the other. How can SKY, the SFA and sane people convince the rest of the country that having Rangers back at the top table as a matter of urgency is the ONLY way forward ?. St Mirren and Ross County knocked back a ridiculous idea for reconstruction, I suspect those with the game in mind breathed a sigh of relief at their stance. Maybe Rangers getting 'fast-tracked' into a new set-up can be attractive for those with an interest in the survival of the game up here, but not so for those with a bigoted 'bee in ther bunnet'
  20. McCaig's tower is nothing much but the Ferry to 'Balamory' is lovely...I'm 87
