  6. Kris Boyd has admitted Hearts manager Gary Locke has asked if he would be interested in a summer move to Tynecastle, but insists he will speak to Kilmarnock first before deciding his future. The SPLâ??s all-time record goal scorer returned to Scotland in February after leaving MLS side Portland Timbers. The 29-year-old scored three times in nine matches for the Ayrshire men and told STV last week that remaining with the club was his first option. http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/hearts/227300-kris-boyd-hearts-boss-gary-locke-has-asked-me-about-summer-move/
  7. In view of the impending season ticket renewals and the launch of the new strip the RST and the Rangers Supporters Association urges the board of RFC to use todayâ??s meeting to stabilise executive control and work in the best interest of our beloved football club so that we can all dig deep and support our return to our rightful place at the helm of Scottish football. We are reassured by Walterâ??s continued presence in the boardroom and I am sure the wider Rangers Family are too, this is undoubtedly a time for boardroom stability, continuity and strong leadership. Union Bears Statement Rangers Board, The Union Bears would like to make clear that we unequivocally back Walter Smithâ??s position on the clubâ??s board of directors. Furthermore we will stand firmly behind anyone else that Walter Smith believes is working on the board in the best interests of our football club. Weâ??d also like to clarify that we would oppose the return of Charles Green to our football club in any capacity. If Walter Smith or any of the those referenced above are forcibly removed from the board of directors we will have no option but to consider our options for the season ahead. Union Bears No Surrender http://www.therst.co.uk/walter-must-stay-on-the-board/?
  8. Exactly: If we wanted to and could afford to sign McGeady for example it'd be a big no no from HIM.
  9. Then there's K Miller & Novo who could return, hope Clark isn't used mostly as a substitute
  10. If they had donated it to charity we would have applauded them for it, in fact it would have been all over the papers. THE BASTARDS POCKETED IT!!! Shameless.
  11. I think if tlb got offered the job he'd knock it back I also think duck's have webbed feet
  12. So it was reported that Jock Stein stole Willie Waddell's thunder by going to the Celtic support to challenge supporters singing sectarian songs and stripped them of an Irish tricolour?? My god, Big Jock would be very busy today if he was still alive.
  13. Why can't the guy keep his seat? Is everyone else in the same boat?
  14. I couldn't give a shit if we had 11 irish catholics playing for us, as long as they are good enough - if not, then they'll get the same treatment as some of the pish I've watched playing for us in the past. Then no doubt I'll be classed as a bigot by the press.
  15. Nicky Clark hopes to match Queen of the South goal tally with Rangers Nicky Clark has targeted matching last seasonâ??s goal-scoring form for Queen of the South at Rangers after signing for the Ibrox club. The 21-year-old forward hit 41 goals for the Palmerston club last term as they won the Second Division title and the Ramsdens Cup. After putting pen-to-paper on a three-year contract, Clark said: "If I get anything like the number of goals I got last year, it will be a good season again. "Hopefully I can do that and win the league again with Rangers. Video http://sport.stv.tv/football/227103-nicky-clark-hopes-to-match-queen-of-the-south-goal-tally-with-rangers/?
  16. Was Rangers’ slice of prize money not frozen by the SPL last year, did they not say at the time it would be used to pay member clubs who were owed money? Did these clubs get paid, I know Hearts were due some.

  18. NICKY CLARK is finally ready to make it big at Rangers â?? after the Ibrox giants initially showed him the door because they thought he was too small. The 5ft 10in Queen of the South striker will complete his £20,000 move when he signs a three-year deal with the Light Blues today before jetting off on holiday. And he is following in the footsteps of his dad, Sandy, who made 62 appearances for the Gers in the mid-Eighties and scored 21 goals, and is now No 2 to Allan Johnston at Palmerston. Clark, 21, who flies out to Ibiza today, said: â??I was released by Rangers as a boy and I never thought I would get another opportunity to play here. â??I was gutted because I was there from the age of 11 to 15. I was at Rangers with a lot of my mates from the Murieston Boysâ?? Club team including Danny Wilson, Rhys McCabe, Darren Cole and the Jacobs triplets. â??I also played in the same teams as John Fleck and Kyle Hutton. â??Then our youth coach, Stephen Wright, pulled my dad aside and told him they were going to let me go because they thought I was too small and I wasnâ??t going to grow enough to make the grade at Rangers. As soon as Rangers expressed their interest it was the only place I wanted to go to. Nicky Clark â??There were a few of us in the same boat but I was devastated. â??But looking back, everything happens for a reason and everything has worked out for me in the end. I now have the chance to sign for Rangers at the second time of asking.â? Clark knocked back Sheffield United, Tranmere, Shrewsbury and a big-money offer from Polish outfit Jagiellonia Bialystok to move to Ibrox. The youngster said: â??I am delighted everything is agreed. â??As soon as Rangers expressed their interest it was the only place I wanted to go to. â??It has taken a bit of time to get it done but everything has now been agreed. â??I am due to go in for a medical and get everything signed on Tuesday. â??I will be delighted when everything is done.â? Clark is confident he can make the grade at Rangers and insists the only place he will be making up the numbers is in the goalscoring charts. The striker sealed his dream move to Ibrox on the back of his amazing 41-goal haul for Queen of the South, who ran away with the Second Division title and lifted the Ramsdens Cup last season. Clark will slug it out with fellow new boy Jon Daly, Andy Little and Lee McCulloch for the Ibrox striking slots, while Scotland international Kenny Miller could swell their attacking ranks even further. Clark said: â??I have confidence in my own ability. â??I scored a lot of goals for Queen of the South last season and I believe I can score goals at Rangers. â??I know I will face a fight to get into the team but I believe I am good enough to play in the Rangers team. â??There will be competition for places but you need to have that at every top team. â??I canâ??t wait for pre-season, to get the head down and to get going. â??It is up to me to take my chance and show the management team what I can do. â??I am certainly confident I can score goals in the current Rangers team because they create so many chances.â? After being released by the Light Blues as a kid, Clark moved on to Aberdeen, Peterhead and then to the Doonhamers. He signed up at Palmerston in July 2011 on an initial one-year deal, which was extended by 12 months as the goals started to flow. And while his dad used to play alongside and mentor a young Ally McCoist at Ibrox, the young frontman feels under no pressure in joining the Light Blues. He also believes the Rangers manager can help him add even more goals to his game. â??I am proud of what my dad did during his playing career,â? said Clark. â??He had a top career and did well in his time in Rangers. â??People might compare us but that doesnâ??t bother me because I am a completely different player to my dad. â??All I can do is go out and do the best I can. â??Obviously, I spoke to my dad about Rangers and he told me all about the manager and how good a striker he was and what a good guy he is. â??He is one of Scotlandâ??s greatest ever strikers and I know I can only improve my game by training under the manager every day.â? Clark admitted it was McCoistâ??s personal touch that sold him on a move to Ibrox and persuaded him to turn down more lucrative offers. â??I went in to meet the manager at Ibrox and he gave me a guided tour,â? said Clark. â??I left my agent with the Ibrox chief executive Craig Mather and Andrew Dickson and Ally took me round the stadium. â??He showed me the trophy room, the boardroom and round the dressing room and it just blew me away. â??I knew how big a club Rangers were through my dad but just seeing Ibrox for myself and listening to the gafferâ??s plans took things to a new level. â??I just want to play my part in getting the club back into the SPL and challenging again at the top of Scottish football. â??I have ambitions of playing at the top level and I want to do it with Rangers.â? http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/403088/Nicky-Clark-ready-to-return-to-Rangers?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+daily-express-football-news+%28Daily+Express+%3A%3A+Football+Feed%29
  19. Ally is a very persuasive man with a fantastic cv: - Greatest centre-forward ever in a Rangers shirt. Adored by the general public in Great Britain for his excellent input on BBC's QoS. Fantastic camaraderie with the media and his staff and players. He craves to be a successful manager of the club he loves. Judging by what I've been witnessing, I fear it may be a bridge to far
  20. In a way I agree with this. We did complete 'phase 1' albeit with piss poor football, so for this reason, like Ally, they should be 'given more time' Alas you are either an Ally Basher/lLover or a Green Lover/Basher and that's why 'fan ownership' of Rangers FC would make a mockery of the club. I think.
  21. If we don't hurry up and get our arse in gear it'll be a decade before we get a chance at 55
  22. If we end up with a new manager for the start of the season I'll be very surprised, but then again life as a Rangers fan has been full of surprises of late.
