  1. AMSTERDAM â?? Carlos Bocanegra was removed at the break with an undetermined knock as Racing Santander closed the Spanish Adelantedivision season with a 3-0 home victory over Hércules. On loan from Scottish club Rangers, Boca nearly scored in the 11th minute, but his attempt cleared off the line. Racing finished the season with three wins and four clean sheets from a five-game unbeaten run, but it was too little and too late to save their Segunda División status. The club has already been relegated and will play in Segunda División B next year. No word yet on Bocanegra's future plans.
  2. Jim Traynor sports writer writes things to do with sport fat bastard with big wage who's taking it out of our club - get him to fuck. Typical hack - get him to fuck

  7. Seems pretty conclusive - except for the firebomb and kneecapping bits
  8. New director of Rangers..... Al Capone His crime is his quest for 55 and to conquer Europe
  9. Wee Strachan is a shrewd man, he won't bring back the guys who jumped ship for various reasons. The players tonight although lacking a bit of class showed real keenness to play for the cause reminded me of the way Walter got his players to play for him...the manager is so important. Maybe he could be the next manager of Rangers? I very much rate him, he'd be perfect for us
  10. Shyte's a tax dodger brings down Rangers - avoid tax dodgers - what vision we all have
  11. Seen that coming mate - so predictable
  12. 1-0 to us Scots A magnificent win for Scotland against 4th ranked team in the world Croatia. So pleased for Strachan, got his players working very hard and they got a winning result. Fantastic effort from the 'fringe men' who deserve inclusion in the EURO qualifiers, not a C**t** player in the side....they have more important CL qualifiers to think about the C**t* Well done Scotland
  13. Tax fraud is a shocking crime
  14. Now they're terrorists apparently??? This is godawful...call in the army
  15. ...and here's me thinking Rangers play with white shorts....what a fool I've been
  16. Apparently (by reading through the posts) the Easedales are kneecappers. When did this happen?
  17. CLARK has spent the past year in the second division with Queen of the South and, despite hitting over 40 goals, he reckons it will be a tough test for Rangers. DEFENDERS in the Second Division probably breathed a sigh of relief when Queen of the South were promoted and theyâ??d got Nicky Clark out of their hair. Then the 41-goal striker joined Rangers and found himself right back in the league heâ??d just left. The prospect of heading to the likes of Forfar, Arbroath and Stenhousemuir for the second successive season doesnâ??t bother the young striker in the slightest. And the fact he knows what to expect in that league might give him a head start on his new team-mates when the clubâ??s registration embargo ends on September 1 and he is allowed to become a fully fledged Rangers player. Before that he may or may not be allowed to play as a trialist in competitive matches but will definitely feature in pre-season friendlies where he hopes to forge an instant partnership with fellow new boy Jon Daly. Clark was at Ibrox yesterday to promote season-ticket sales and canâ??t wait to get to the stadium for real when the ball starts rolling again. He said: â??Iâ??ve got a wee insight into the teams we will be playing and they are all good teams. â??Itâ??s a hard league. Boys just love playing football in this league and are capable of getting stuck right into you. â??When they come to Ibrox it is massive for them so it will be hard for us but Iâ??m sure we will adapt to it and do well. â??The experience the players had in the Third Division last season will help them.â? Clark helped knock Rangers out of the Ramsdens Cup last season but believes the influx of more experienced signings this summer will help the club make a bigger impact in knockout tournaments than they did in the previous campaign. He said: â??Weâ??ve made a few good signings and other people will be coming in. The club have been signing really good, experienced players. Weâ??ll want to make an impact in all competitions as well as the league. â??A lot of people will be expecting us to do well in the cups and we will be trying to do that. â??But the main thing will be to try to win the league because the most important thing is to get back into the SPL as quickly as we can. â??I want to be part of the journey back to where this club belongs, in the SPL and in Europe. â??The fans are the lifeblood of this football club and I have no doubt they will sign up for season tickets in huge numbers as they have always done. More than 38,000 supporters bought season tickets in 2012-13 and that is a phenomenal total. â??Iâ??m just hoping I can do as well again this year, for Rangers. I think Iâ??ll get more chances playing here but last year was a memorable season. â??If I get anything like 40 goals again it will be another great season.â? He hasnâ??t been told Rangers will go with Clark and Daly up front but if boss Ally McCoist decides thatâ??s his preferred option he will get no complaints from the former Queen of the South attacker. Clark said: â??Playing up front with Jon Daly, if thatâ??s what happens, will allow me to benefit from his experience. Iâ??m sure he can teach me a lot. â??Heâ??s an experienced player who knows how to read the game. He can win a lot of flick-ons and I can get on the second balls. It can work well. â??Itâ??s important to get games because partnerships donâ??t happen overnight. Thatâ??s why weâ??ll play together in friendlies so we are ready by the time we go into competitive games.â? Prices for season tickets in the family section are £258 for adults, £65 for kids and £179 for concessions. Prices for all other areas of the stadium start from £278 for adults, £68 for kids and £190 for concessions. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rangers-striker-nicky-clark-know-1936923?

  21. Starting to agree...that Malaysia logo looks awful
  22. ...Ah... I thought you couldn't get the link gs...have added the writers name now anyway
  23. Is this what sells the daily rhebel up north??.... By ANDREW SOUTHWICK IN his column last week, David Preece ruffled a few feathers by admitting he misses Rangers being in the SPL. I can’t say it’s a feeling I have had over the past 12 months but I do understand what he was saying. When the Glasgow giants used to visit in the past, the atmosphere at Pittodrie did have an edge. We all wanted a win a little bit more than we normally do on a Saturday, and few things are more satisfying than silencing the Gers’ vast away support with a good Pittodrie hiding. There is a part of me that would love a trip to Ibrox on the fixture list. You tell me a ground where the Aberdeen fans celebrate a goal like we do when we take the lead in Govan? Big players come alive in big games. Eoin Jess lived for those days, and some of his best memories in a red shirt were watching him tear Rangers apart. Likewise, current Dons stars Niall McGinn, Jonny Hayes, Barry Robson and Willo Flood I’m sure would all love to sample an Aberdeen-Rangers clash. But am I wishing them back into the SPL? Not even a little bit. I’ll take my chances and hope we draw them in one of the cups. Aberdeen don’t miss Rangers. What we miss is success. I haven’t heard too many Celtic fans complain about the lack of Old Firm games. Why would you miss Rangers when your ground is rocking with Barcelona and Juventus as your opponents? Would Pittodrie punters be bothered if we never saw Ian Black and Lee McCulloch in the north-east again, if instead we had Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid to contend with regularly? Europa League qualification next season has to be a priority. No disrespect to Motherwell, St Johnstone and Hibs who have all earned their spots but they’re where we should be. They should be the ones firing admiring glances our way. Had we not been so conservative in the cups we could have had a few Hampden days out to satisfy the thirst for a big game domestically. St Mirren defeated Celtic and Hearts to win the League Cup. Hibernian were able to give Falkirk a three-goal head start then win the Scottish Cup semi-final. They were gifted those days out by an Aberdeen side that stayed in their shell in both quarter-final ties and couldn’t grasp the opportunity in front of them. That winning mentality has to return to the club. The thirst for success, the feeling we should be on the big stage; it should be written into the contract of the Dons players. This talk of reaching the top six, or of simply getting to a semi-final for a day out, is nonsense. It’s that mentality that has us winning nothing for 18 years and missing a match against a Second Division side. I don’t miss Rangers. I miss being better than them, and at the moment we should be. Let’s make season 2013/14 the year we prove we are. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/talking-reds-dont-miss-rangers-1934853?
