  1. Wasn't it the SCUM who tagged themselves the "greatest fans in the world"? Well poor wee Brentford found out the truth today by the sounds of things
  2. Yeah thanks dB
  3. 5 shut-outs? Very good - progress indeed
  4. Must be the 1st time in the history of football a player has been subbed, brought back on and then later gets to be the captain
  5. Derek Johnstone: Three men with vision to take Gers to the top The sight of Walter Smith, Craig Mather and Ally McCoist together on the training pitch in Germany would have pleased the Rangers support. You know the club is in good hands when Walter is there and what I'd say about Craig is that he has learned very quickly just what the club is about. It is all very well being a successful chief executive of a business unrelated to football and then finding yourself in a very public spotlight when you are charged with the running of a club the size of Rangers. But so far I think he has made all the right noises and done the right things. To know that all three guys sat down this week and spoke of their long-term vision of the club, how they want to achieve that and where they want to take the club is good. These three guys are basically the most important people and the club and you need them to have a good working relationship, to speak regularly and to be on the same sheet – these are things that have not necessarily been the case over the past few years. The ultimate aim is that the club is in the top flight and competing in Europe again. It is a dream that will come to fruition and if these three are the ones who make it possible then they will be held in the highest regard by everyone associated with the club. But the main aim is that business affairs are conducted sensibly and within budget. There is just no point in hanging themselves in order to get into the top flight – when Rangers are there we want it to be from a position of strength both on and off the park. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/rangers/rangerscomment/derek-johnstone-three-men-with-vision-to-take-gers-to-the-top-130975n.21643162?
  6. It's sad how far we've fallen when some want to use the scum as an example...it really is.
  7. Five figures? if you say so I suppose, who am I to argue Like the sig fs..lol
  8. Put the power battles aside for a moment. We are only three pre-season games into the campaign but there is a very noticeable feel good factor about the club compared to 12 months ago. Ally McCoist believes his squadâ??s pre-season preparations are incomparable to last year. There seems to be a more serious professional approach by the players this time around, there's an urgency about the players that simply wasn't there last year and also coming to an end is the illegal transfer embargo. Me personally? I have never doubted our return to the top table in season 2015-16 , my main worry was how unprepared we were on challenging for the title on that return and I'm talking WINNING the title back at the first attempt. I now feel we have a real chance realistically of doing just that I know it's early doors, but can anyone else feel the sense of change? Has Ally's signings and approach this season made you believe we are on the road to future glory? I'm convinced we are....A week is a long time in politics, the same can be said about football and Rangers in particular.
  9. I have no idea what his pay is, have you?
  10. There would have been a good few SPL teams who'd have taken Jig in a flash. He wanted to stay with Rangers, whether that had to do with money or his love for the club we don't know for sure. Whatever it was he definitely made the right decision regards our stage one.
  11. He should get one for his right foot too
  12. One things for sure... The day when we all forget about what happened to us, that day will come
  13. I'm the same mate, got big expectations, just trying to keep the lid on it
  14. Someone mentioned McLeod being in the Durrant mould. I've watched his goal about 6 times and judging from that alone I cant argue with that I know it's only 1 goal, but he shouted for that ball
  15. McCulloch was so important to Ally last season..both will be hoping that isn't the case this season
  16. Not half...Little's awareness with the pass was excellent.
  17. So very true unfortunately
  18. I'm scared shit our new signings f**k up on the park again
  19. I felt that way last season more so because of what went before...alas last season was the worst in our history with some dire football and shameful defeats to the like of Annan at Ibrox. I'm a wee bit reluctant to say we'll skoosh the league this year after what I saw last year, a wasted year tbh. But as ever I remain hopeful...it'll only take 2 games into the season for me to see what's going on with our team and if it isn't going right you'll hear me.
  20. We Rino was a luxury at the time...how we could do with a player like him right now
  21. I suppose this thread is done with now. Reaper was banned: Question: Why were 4 posters allowed to quote him/her after his/her ban?
  22. There may well be a big pie in the face for you mate after that comment.
  23. Union Berlin 3-0 hee hee Scum played 4 lost 4 scored 3 conceded 12
