  1. Is it up to Rangers to bring it to the attention of the SPL? I know Rangers TV covered the game, but if the Bheeb buy the rights to show it then surely THEY should bring it to everyone's attention like they did with Naisy.
  2. ....Now we can look forward to the next 7 MONTHS
  3. Lemons team have 18 points from 9 games...Tony Mowbray's team managed 20 points from 9. FACT! LOL!
  4. The scum have always targetted great Rangers servants as figures of hate, such as Sam English, Don Kitchenbrand, Bobby Shearer, John Greig, Willie Johnston, Alex MacDonald, Tom Forsyth, Iain Durrant, Graeme Roberts, Ally McCoist, Ian Ferguson, Paul Gascoigne, Nacho Novo and more recently Barry Ferguson.....step forward STEVEN NAISMITH, take up the mantle lad a 'True Blue' what Rangers are all about 'True Grit' To be hated by the scum, is a true accolade. Deliverers to the cause, forever remembered. We welcome the chase.
  5. I'll try to be informative here...but crossed hands back to back means...GIRUY. How do I know? Depends where you come from.
  6. ....for what it's worth, Celtic weren't too much a problem for Rangers on Sunday simply because THEY were shite. I think the main aim is for 'Gers to concentrate on all clubs in Scotland, we will slip up somewhere like always happens and Celtic will recover from the mauling they got and take Aberdeen for example to the cleaners, it's not set in stone, if it was then Lemon would be looking for another job....if McCoist seriously wants this league title he'll get it, but don't sit back and expect it. There will be as always, twists and turns, regardless. What do I think? CHAMPIONIS!!! WATP! 4-IN-A-ROW!....Am I getting carried away?
  7. Fuck the biased Beeb - CNUNTZ!
  8. We need a strike partner for Jella pronto - my preference was K. Miller but somehow he slipped through our hands, my next pick would be Goodwillie as I think he would be a perfect decoy for Jella, but I fear he too will slip through the net. In defence we have the big 6' 5" bloke whitshisname he'll do. In midfield we already have the talented Naismith who is being played out of position because of our striking crisis, and of course we have Davis and Ness so basically midfield is ok. In a nutshell we need Goodwillie.
  9. Jelavic is such a fine player his vision is outstanding, he set up a few on a plate for his strike partner?? Why oh why did we not pay the £800,000 for Miller?? I'm not knocking Naismith here, because I think he's one of our better creative players, but striker? No way. I think our biggest priority is a decent strike partner for the sublime Jelavic before it's too late. And while I'm on here who the f**k sanctioned a 5 year deal for Whittaker? that guy is a fuckin liability
  10. I was concerned along with Danny during pre-season in Germany when we could'nt score and lost every game - the writing was on the wall back then and MOST guys on here didn't see it. That team has died.
  11. Ortiz cant play on the left wing, he's NOT a left winger, so why did Ally put him there on his home debut? Are you suggesting Ortiz has the ability of Cooper and Johnston to swap wing play? Bud and Coop didn't play in the same team either mate.
  12. Yeah, I only watched it on SkyGo and I've got to agree with Allan - why not stick the away fans in that corner and give the Gers fans the corner between 'The Govan and The Broomloan' this will soon spread to other areas of the stadium. Lets make our ground the most fearful place for the opposition.
  13. I decided to sit back and decipher the game v Hearts on Saturday before coming on here to put forward my comments. I watched the game on TV and was very disappointed in our performance, particularly the performance of Juan Manuel Ortiz. Davy Provan, a cultured left winger in days gone by kept on during commentary referring to Ortiz not being a natural left winger and preferring to use his right foot in order to deliver a cross. The boy McGowan, under instruction from his boss Jeffries snuffed him out no trouble at all. My worry is why did Coisty play him there in the first place when respected guys in the game like Jefferies and Provan seen it coming? If we are signing players just for the sake of signing players then we are in for a very long season, surely we have someone in our squad who can play on the left? If not then why play Juan Manuel Ortiz there when others see a weakness.
  14. Broadfoot played left back v Blackpool and held the position perfectly imo. No airs and graces btw. McCoist put him there because Papac was injured. It's between him and Wallace who plays there - I think Kirk will start in that position, and depending how things go, Wallace will come on late in the game.
  15. The Daily Record? Henrik Larsson? FFS is that how you sell a rag nowadays?
  16. I cant think of any manager, never mind a manager of Rangers FC taking on such as Mr McCoist has landed on his plate, following in the footsteps of arguably 'Rangers Greatest Manager Of All Time' the trophy laden Walter Smith. Is Mr McCoist up to it? Well...only time will tell. He will always be a hero in the hearts of everything and anything that is Rangers, that will never be erased so long as Rangers FC are in existence. If he can take his position as an Ibrox legend onto yet another level, never before in terms of managing the club itself to the same degree of success as a player, then that will be so unique. All supporters of our truly great club will unite behind the man now charged with the most difficult and most demanding job in world football, maybe somebody out there will say there are more difficult and demanding positions in the game, but for the life of me I cant think of one. Good luck Ally, we are all behind you.
  17. Over the last couple of days when I click on the 'Gersnet forum' which is saved in my favourites list - I'm not getting connected about 60% of the time, there's no problems with any of my other items in the favourites bar. Has anyone else been getting this prob?
  18. Hi mate, No. 13 has never been allocated due to the stairway 13 Ibrox Disaster.
  19. Trivia: His name, Afolabi, means "Born into wealth" His nickname in Nigeria is Robocop because of his stiff movements.
  20. Referring to the touchline spat with Coisty, Lennon has said he won't make "any promises" that it won't happen again.
  21. Guys like Albertz, Hateley, Laudrup, Gascoigne etc, etc, were'nt Gers fans when growing up. But they are now!
  22. Fuck me - that did'ny last long, did it?
  23. Robbie Crawford has the most prestigious number IMO.
  24. ...Just like a certain Lee McCulloch you mean?
  25. ...and another thing, if we dont get our game sorted out (and I'm not talking about Gers here) we are heading into oblivion.
