Most great footballers do what Naisy does, the guy is a credit to Rangers Football Club, I for one am proud to say he plays for the team I support, what an example he sets in these troubled times. Lets all wish him a quick recovery and a speedy return to the side, and that he fulfils all his dreams as a Ger.

Do away with the Groan/Agree/Disagree button altogether but keep the 'Thanks' button....if someone doesn't like what you put on GersNet then they should type why in a reply to you, that way the individual can disagree back. I've seen it in other Forums, why not put it on 'record' next to the username - how many thanks they get? I'm pretty sure that would separate the clever from the imbecile. Talking of memories.....this isn't about 1989 but 1991. I had been taking my first son to Ibrox for many years then started to take my 2nd son who was 8 at the time to some games during the 1990-91 season, the last game you'll all remember was v the sheep and 'they' only needed a draw to secure the title. Anyway...tickets for that game were gold and I managed to get a couple the day before the game. As you know, the excitement and build up to that game was like nothing before. On the morning of the match I said "Right son, let's get ready" only for my younger to plead "Am I going too?" Two tickets, three Bears, well what do you do? I took both of them in the car to Ibrox with the intention they get the tickets and I look for another for myself! Sure enough, park the car, get the boys safely to the turnstile, tell them to meet me here after the game, then I go look for a ticket.....I tried, I tried and I tried, could I get a ticket? Could I f**k. The match has started by now and I'm still trying to get a ticket...'Any tickets mate?' 'Hi mate, got a ticket there?' Hopeless...the roars from inside the Stadium would make the hairs on your neck stand up...15 minutes after kick off, and still no ticket? F**k it...back to the car and listen on the radio....back to the car, and SHITE!!! I've got a TICKET alright...a f**kin' PARKING TICKET!!! Not a problem, Rangers done the biz, and the boys had a great day.

I would be honest and say Sone took a dive and won us a penalty (a clever skill that clever players do) The problem is that Sone's been targeted which means in future opposition defenders can kick the shit out of him and the refs wont react. Welcome to Rangers Sone.
