I think we should bring back Boyd, Novo, Lovenkrands, Gattuso, van Bronkhorst, Albertz and Willie Johnston.

Is there a chance that Ally might surprise everyone on the 28th?
54andcounting replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
I think all 'Bears' will need to brace themselves for 11 behind the ball on the 28th. . Why?.........And this is an excuse........... Ally built his first ever team around Naismith, no doubt about that, Naisy was 1st pick in his team, the loss of his lynch-pin put him on the ropes, recent performances back that up, but if loading the team with defenders is the only way out at present, then so be it. It worked v ICT (no thanks to Whittaker) On the subject of Banners at kiddiefiddlers..... The Lurgin Bigot was 'embarrassed' by his fans with their 'actions', why dont we have 3 banners side by side depicting a Lemon, a pot and a kettle? -
McCoist tried something, it almost turned out to be a disaster, but it didn't...next week he may try it again because of no options, fingers crossed he achieves v the Bheasts what he got against ICT......3 POINTS. Then we will sing his praises.

I remember that too...and when Rangers scored, you needed a gas mask to breathe properly because our end was covered - the mhanky end wizny, loved it when we played them there and it poured down.

Standing areas....Brilliant idea!! Just as long as the guy behind isn't pissing into an empty beer can?? :rfcbouncy::rfcbouncy:

I'm with superrcoop on this one, it's Boydie for me, and I'll explain why...Boyd scored more goals in a Rangers jersey that Miller could only dream about. Kenny in his 2nd spell at Ibrox improved as a scorer, I think Kris can be even better if he gets a 2nd chance. This is just my opinion. Would be great though if we could get BOTH of them back.

Why didn't Rangers fans think of that?

Excuse my ignorance...but can you simplify this statement? -
I've tried to look into how much teams get for winning the SPL ....and based on last season....... 6,000 fans celebrating at Rugby Park 50,000 fans celebrating at Ibrox Stadium 5,000,000 fans celebrating in Scotland 220,000,000 fans celebrating around the world It's only an estimate, but signs are there could be a repeat this year.

A team line-up I'd love to see Ally McCoist try next week

Like Ian says...I fancy us to beat them, why not? OK we're missing Naisy, but it's that shite defence we have to breach and we put 4 past it last time. Regardless of the team Ally puts out, I'm sure we can lick them on their 'cauldron of hate' on the 28th. -
Yeah...that's right, that must have been Messi of Barcelona, I'm talking Whittaker.
-
Hope it's right back and he's a proper defender who'll oust Whittaker

I know it ain't right coming on here and having a go at a Glasgow Rangers player, but I am f**kin 'sick to death' with that dumpling in the right back position who cost us a European qualification place this season, and almost cost us the league last year at the Piggery. Did you watch him today? It was SHOCKING! Really, really SHOCKING. The sooner we sell this passenger, the better. Sorry if I offend fellow bears on here but, we REALLY NEED to offload this plonker before it's too late.

Exactly, Fergie pushed himself into that role, the powers at 'Gers let him (good player btw) but maybe with hindsight others should have been considered but in those days it wasn't important. At the end of the day Rangers were very successful during Barry's time so you could say good decisions, If Adam had been given his rightful place in the team in centre midfield it could have went either way, we'll never know.

As you say GA we are stuck with them, maybe one day they will restrict ONE Champion from each European league to compete in 'The Champions League' then maybe one day Rangers will win it, but UEFA wont do that, so......FUCK UEFA. -
.....yes I know, we used to buy those talented youngsters from the other Scottish clubs, now they're going to the BBC funded English 2nd teir.

As a football supporter, what part is offensive? Fuck or Uefa? -

You'll find a post somewhere in here where Russian fans and Polish fans are displaying 'racist' banners, yet no fines or bans for their clubs. -

Laws of what land? UEFA land? -
I've always thought like many on here that youth is the only way forward for Rangers, now at last the club is obviously thinking along those lines too. Good luck to young Rhys, and all the other 'kids' in the system.

Referring to last nights banner in Italy "FUCK UEFA" why didnt Rangers fans think of that long before they did? :box:
-
Peter Lawwell has expressed ‘embarrassment’ at the behaviour of Celtic fans when they unfurled a ‘Fuck Uefa’ banner at last night’s game in Italy. That’s rich coming from the guy who would attempt to publicly belittle Rangers Football Club on national television – something that had never before occurred between the two Glasgow sides. Embarrassed by their badly-behaved support? Just guess where that support take their example from? The disrespect and arrogance comes from the top down and it’s little-wonder their fans think anybody is fair-game. All at Celtic, from the chief executive through to their ill-mannered and reckless coach and onto certain of their playing staff carry a blind arrogance that decent members of the public, Catholic as well as Protestant, are sick of. It appears unacceptable to Celtic football club that they can be fined by the sport’s governing body – ‘How dare they fine us’ – when their support were clearly acting in a way that would offend; pure and simple. One law for the whole of Europe’s clubs and a separate law for Celtic? That’s what the Celtic board would have their support think. They constantly send out the wrong message to their fans and if sections of those same fans can show a contempt and arrogance and think they can get away with it, where do you think they get that from? The blame for that ‘Fuck Uefa’ banner lies squarely with those at the top.

Most likely one of the 'ghreasy brigade'.....who's future is in peril.

It must be said tho'....Rangers under Walter 2 seasons ago after 18 games managed 43 points, last year he got 44, Ally's pocketed 45, SUPER ALLY SUPER ALLY AWAY AWAY AWAY!!
