  1. Youth players don't get a chance with us at all. I thought last season when Walter announced his departure and introduced young players into the team (a first) that we had turned the corner and were indeed going to bring in the starlets on a regular basis, but alas, it's the same old story - good competent young players at hand and yet they stick by 'the old guard' and loan deals, pretty shite if you ask me. When will we learn?
  2. Cheers Bud for the wee insight into one of our former youth players, didn't know much about the guy, but like you, I wish him well in his career.
  3. I've just watched Newcastle United play the other United off the park. Two back-to-back league defeats now. With the thrashing they got earlier in the season from City coupled with their Champions League exit, is Sir Alex's coat on a 'shoogly' peg?
  4. His body language recently says "I can't be bothered" So his attitude is suspect, therefore, there's no chance 'Gers will receive much more than the 6.5m bid we got from Leicester.
  5. On STV Sport that Sandaza has knocked back a tasty offer from St Johnstone to stay - He wants to join Rangers or Shellik - Aye right!
  6. ...Yes, and It'll be same fans who didn't want him after Souness left for Liverpool - He wasn't a big enough name back then.
  7. Lafferty is always getting injured, and Fleck never managed to get into the team before, it's more a case of Jelavic being out as well. So for me if he wasn't good enough before, then he isn't good enough now. Sorry if this upsets some.
  8. EVERY Rangers player seemed to enjoy playing today - keep it up lads.
  9. Just saying how fickle fans are...McCoist proved himself before through barrages of abuse, but lightening doesn't strike twice, does it? All I'm saying is give McCoist a break, he deserves THAT at least.
  10. Hold on! Don't want to be a 'party pooper' but my recollection of Rangers foundation is 1873? NOT 1872? I have a ticket for the Rangers v Ajax game in 1973 (the unofficial 'super cup' final) at Ibrox priced 5p in celebration of Rangers founding. (That was the reason for the game?) It's not recognised as a 'Super Cup Final by UEFA) Also....Rangers opened the 'Centenary Stand' at Ibrox in 1973? So why all of a sudden are we 1872? Did we not know back then our history? Or is this being made up to suit our triumph in Europe? Can someone explain why I bought a ticket to celebrate our 100 years for 5p in a game v Cruyff and all, and later sat in the 'Centenary Stand' in 1973?
  11. Thanks Pete, as long as it keeps 'Grumpy Maines' happy.
  12. To ALL, well Bears:robbo:
  13. Define an 'unreasonable' person for me before I make a complaint. Is it only 'Scottish' people who can do that?
  14. I'm getting fed up with all the crap surrounding Rangers at the moment, all that stuff about the 15 point lead and how lennons team pulled it back, yes they did manage to pull it back, fuckin' congrats to them, well done bhoys you scummy f**ks. Now 'The Bears' are calling for Ally's head? Ffs get a grip. Who built that 15 point lead in the first place? I can see Walter at the time saying "You jammy bastard' 15 points ya c**t, how the f**k did you manage that?" Bet you he did. Walter will not be too pally just now, but he'll be telling Ally "Let's see you win the league, I done it". McCoist has the T-shirt, been there, done it, Walter will end up impressed as usual. WATP! It's not about Mr Smith. Stick by Coisty (The Manager) - Give him time, you impatient planks.
  15. Losing to Arbroath? Are you kidding mate? We will beat them 1-0 or 8-0....can you see something that could make 'Berwick' seem like a stroll in the park? I dont? We are not that bad.....a 0-1 at porkheid is not the end. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ALLY!
  16. Fleck ran with ease right through the Mhanky defence and scored in an under 19s final some years ago, and at the time Jim Craig 'septic legend' said on television 'He won't manage that in the first team'....I thought (bitter bashtard, just wait and see). .....well, turns out the mhank was right!! Fleck should be shipped, he's let himself down.
  17. I can't believe this post!! McCoist got hounded by 'Rangers Fans' in his FIRST season as a player, the rest of his seasons are of legendary status and you couldn't make it up, 'All time top scorer' double golden boot winner, 9-in-a-row, just pieces of the history of our club. Now some guys on here want to sweep him aside after ONE season the same way as 1983. Get a grip lad's....Give him a fuckin' chance ffs?
  18. The Main Stand at Mhankyland was full of Premiership managers, and they were only there to see ONE player, the two overhead attempts were pretty awful, but, had he succeeded with BOTH, his value would have DOUBLED. That's why Ally looked so glum on STV tonight.
  19. What? If enough fans report 'Go Home Ya Hun's' as being 'offensive' then, we can stop it?
  20. Did they train today? - or did they NOT train today? Anyone confirm 100%?
  21. Joe O’Rourke? That illiterate neanderthal who has inexplicably been put in charge of the Celtic Supporters Association....he's the guy back in February last year who penned a sickening article on 'their' official website about Rangers plans for a minutes silence at an OF match in remembrance of keeper Gerry Neef who'd passed away earlier in the week - the scumbag referred to that as "Provocation" and urged fellow scum to "disrespect it" Also, when Rangers invited Simon Weston, the Falklands war veteran for the same match to honour a former soldier for his charity work - that fanny called it "triumphalism" and urged bheasts on that shite site to 'boo' when he stepped on the park. Time to bring c**ts like him to book.
  22. Absolutely spot on Bud.
  23. All good teams have a 'Nightmare' spell, and Rangers are no different. That 15 point lead was never going to continue into a 20 or 30 gap. To be honest I started to think 'Gers just had to turn up and bag 3 points EVERY game, and no doubt the players thought so too, becoming over confident and thinking they just had to take to the field and everything would take care of itself, that's how MUCH better Rangers were than the rest after just 1/3rd of the season. Probably for the best it's a whole new ball game now, we are behind and have to start taking it seriously. I'm 100% certain the players who have delivered in the past will wake up soon and say "Right lad's, let's go get those bastards, the holiday's over" Most of our players have been out of form for a while now, when they get it all together again, the Mhanks will be panic. Can't wait!
  24. ....or bring Weir back, he's fit and ready and has never let us down, or is that a step back?
