I couldn't afford to go to the moon every fortnight or even Spain, Germany or Holland for that matter, but a trip a few hundred miles seems within reach.

Danny's point is 'If we have to start again'. I think he feels the same as me, if Rangers go out of business and re-emerge would it not be better to apply for English status, thus becoming an English team. I'd rather the newco start again in England than let Rangers fans go through a hundred more years of the pish we get just now.

Agreed, their history is still there so then, so would ours 'only' if we didn't buy another club and changed their name like the Airdrie Utd/Clydebank thing. As you say Airdrie United have no history, Airdrionians do but they are gone forever just like Third Lanark, which would be the case with Rangers if they 'bought' another club.

Again on the 'England' idea...think of the interest that would create, 'Scottish' club Rangers are coming to town. TV would be very interested.

Their club is dying anyway, so I don't think Rangers could be blamed for that. Port Vale? Excellent suggestion, hope it happens.

On another sidenote: Leeds Utd....recent online research indicates that they are in the top five most supported clubs in England. They are struggling to reach the Premiership even with a large support, so there would be no guarantee Rangers could get there.

If we moved to England with that idea, then there would be many consortium's falling over each other for a piece of that action.
