  1. Quality from Charles....still, he won't be losing any sleep over a small minority of fans screaming for his head outside Ibrox.
  2. We can also win the Scottish Challenge Cup which will make us the only team to win all Scottish domestic trophies available:redface: We'll get 3 goes in it before our return to the SPL, meaning we will be the first team to win it 3-in-a-row  We could also become the first club to win ALL three cups (Scottish, League & Challenge) in the same season.
  3. Anybody notice that big banner among the Spanish supporters: RENFREWSHIRE UNITED?
  4. Utterly agree on the Lawrenson thing. He's so annoying.
  5. If you look at old WC and Euro games involving Engerland you'll notice their fans carried Union Jack flags in support of their team, hardly a St George's flag to be seen anywhere. Nowadays it's the other way round.
  6. What was your TV highlight of Euro 2012? Mine's was when after it was all over BBC's Alan Shearer said: "Spain have had an unbelievable amount of SEX, er success." LOL! Quality. My next best moment tonight was when Lineker asked the others (Hansen, Vialli and Shearer) what their highlights of Euro 2012 were and Vialli said: "Knocking England out in the quarter final." Quality. Lineker and Shearer were aghast, Hansen to his credit patted Vialli on the shoulder and said "Well said man" Quality.
  7. In the past week or so whilst going about my business I've travelled throughout the country enjoying the scenery, Skye is such a lovely place to visit as is Portpatrick a wee place near Stranraer. Have you ever looked at Scottish football grounds on your travels? Some interesting history all about us. Albion Rovers in Coatbridge have a nice wee stadium to be proud of I passed it only today and thought how wonderful it would be for that struggling club to welcome the famous Glasgow Rangers and their fans to their ground, how exciting it would be for that town to have a meaningful game against the world's most successful club. I also drove past Cappielow Park in Greenock this week and thought 'shite, we used to play them on a regular basis' wouldn't it be something for the fans of that club to look forward to a game against the famous Glasgow Rangers? A couple of weeks ago I had a look at 'Boghead' (what a name) in Dumbarton and felt a tad sorry for such a great Scottish football team who won the first of any league title even if they had to share it with Rangers. I suppose they can say they won the next years title without sharing it, good on them. There are many other 'famous' grounds I've passed on my travels and thought 'I've been there' other grounds I've been to no longer exist and that's in my lifetime. Shawfield Park home of Clyde no longer exists, neither does Stirling Albion's ground Annfield. I'm not saying I agree that Rangers demise could be good for Scottish football as a whole but what I would say is that it might bring some change to our game. I know it could be said why the f**k should we help out 'wee diddy' teams...I'm thinking why the f**k not? If the so called 'big' teams in Scotland want to banish us then let it be, they have an agenda which is called self interest, we now have the opportunity to help the smaller clubs in the community enjoy what was once a regular feature on their calender? While we do these great things for the community we also bring success to ourselves (it's always been that way anyway) Eventually we will win back our rightful place in Scottish football and everything will be as it was, and hopefully and this is a hope btw, the bigoted sons from across the city will settle down and accept that there's 'only really one great team in Scotland' and that's....The Rangers. We can do the time...as for the rest, their time will come.
  8. Mm..., how can anyone predict this one? Really? Spain will be looking to make history, Italy look good enough to prevent it. Balotelli for me looks immense (only 21 as well) and seems focused on the job and so do his team mates, on the other hand Spain wont let this BIG chance filter away. So for that reason I wont be predicting anything, lets hope the best team wins cos sometimes that disny happen. Italy for me.
  9. Score 40-50 points: Did you have nothing else to mug up this summer? 30-40: You live next door to Craig Whyte 20-30: Time you knew your East Fife from your Forfar 10-20: Take off your Celtic shirt 0: You must be English I must have scored 0? So I'm out. At least I'm not a tim though.
  10. What a load of pish this thread is. John Brown hid a swally and a dream.....WOW! So did ah.
  11. No change there then.
  12. It's a complete mess mate...wonder where it's going to go from here, just hope Green continues to dig his heels in and is a strong enough character to take the bullsh*t shovel full after shovel full. This situation simply should not be allowed to go on. Walter failed, broon will fail...NEXT!
  13. It would have been some gesture from the players if they had moved over to the newco on the same wages they were getting from the oldco then the newco could have got much needed funds from transfer fees these players would have brought in to the club. Sorry but what's the rush for these players to bugger off and make things more difficult for Charles Green? Why do they feel the need to put barriers up, who told them that what they'll do will be for the good of Rangers? Probably these 'mysterious' blokes who pop their head up in a different guise each time with Walter masks and bomber broon as a front should take a right good look at themselves and STOP f**king up Rangers Football Club. Brown coming out and 'telling' Rangers fans NOT to buy season tickets is an absolute disgrace...why the hell that guy gets any kind of support disgusts me. F**k Off Bomber and leave our club alone.
  14. It's true mate and you are in denial.
  15. It's pretty clear you've judged him Forlan so your comment is null and void.
  16. I'm annoyed at the crap that some on here 'barrowload' out about Charles Green and try to compare him to what's went before and those who have delivered us to the abyss we find ourselves in today. All the mince about this guy and that guy (Smith,Souness,Bus runner, some bloke who is rich,Laudrup Albertz) Madness. The latest one with 'Bomber Brown' taking front stalls really got up my hairy arse. Do these guys really want to take on the responsibility of running a club like Rangers, a Rangers who are wounded and limping at the moment? Charles Green has one helluva job to make us rise out of the shambles that previous owners fuck up on, why do some insist on derailing him?
  17. Not sure he was saying it was CORRECT? His point was don't paint Green with the same paint as Murray...if we continued on that road with whoever was in charge we'd be here until the end of time.
  18. Thanks mate...couldn't have put it better myself. Funny ain't it when those with hindsight fuck up. Better the devil you know.
  19. I'm sure when the Rangers 'thing' kicked off the mhanks quickly got on board together and said 'we don't need Rangers' 'our house is in order and we have sporting integrity on our side an' all that. How the wind blows eh?
  20. Can someone please explain to me what a 'pyramid structure' is in football terms?...I've always thought it had something to do with those hideous looking pointed things next to McDonalds in the 'Land of the Gods'
  21. The 1st Division could have been very possible for Rangers without sanctions if say 2 up and 2 down were in place, as in most leagues all over the world....but the SPL won't have such a situation as it's not 'sporting integrity' to promote two teams up at the same time.
  22. Carlos has come out and called it exactly, he's 33 had never played in the CL and joined a club who would have taken him there. If Boca leaves then who would blame him? He's a yank in his Autumn years not proclaiming to be a Rangers fan but having a sensible feeling for the club. F**k all those Fleck Whittaker types who know what Rangers is all about yet come out with unacceptable comments on why they jumped ship. Good luck Carlos and best wishes wherever your career takes you.
  23. Got to laugh at these wee guys who wore the jersey for such a short time and blethering about something they know f**k-all about. Fleck go away and do what you were put on this planet for........
  24. Some quality players brought through the youth system will enhance Scottish football, if relegating Rangers from the SPL to wherever makes that possible then other associations throughout Europe should adopt the same system i.e. pick the best side from your league and demote them and watch the game grow. Quality.
  25. Surely it's up to you to confirm to everyone how you come to that conclusion?
