  1. A sign of how far we've come in a short time, a 3-0 win which was never in doubt and we're all feeling a bit disappointed!
  2. To be fair he'd be the first to admit that, was as nervous as f*&k before the game. Think yourself lucky you only had to endure 90 minutes of him I had to suffer 5 bloody hours of him today!.....

  4. Half inched from FF.
  5. Demanding his salary be reinstated to the higher original amount is him effectively setting his own salary is it not?
  6. Not strictly true as the Charlotte Fakes leaks demonstrate, he agreed to a salary reduction pre - IPO but wanted it reinstated and the shortfall made up as soon as the IPO was past, a blatant attempt to hoodwink the fans in regards to his real salary.
  7. Oh the magnanimity!!!!.....
  8. Given his knowledge of Greenco's willingness to "burn" 5 titles in exchange for SPL membership it makes his subsequent acceptance of the million penny shares in exchange for his endorsement all the more beguiling.
  9. Thing is Green didn't have it under control at all well not until McCoist endorsed him, a mutually beneficial act of that there's no doubt but not one that did neither the Club or the fans much good. We'd certainly be in a better place and not have Ashley's shackles placed upon us but I don't suppose that'll bother you as you're quite content to have people enriching themselves at the club's expense for little or no return, eh?
  10. Hemdani's performance that night was an absolute masterclass. I remember looking up at the scoreboard and thinking wtf, kept thinking I was imaging it.
  11. I do not believe we would have suffered another insolvency event at that time. Green's paymasters were not about let their cash cow slip away from their grasp. Within days of Green gaining control he was trying to flog 50% for £6m the rub being the £6m went to Greenco and not the club. In persuading the fans to back Green all McCoist did apart from filling his pockets was ensure there was a fatter pot of gold at the end of the rainbow for Greenco, there was bugger all in it for Rangers.
  12. Going by our bus the garbage on the pitch certainly affected the attendances especially among the younger lads.
  13. Was quite impressed with the way they rallied when they went down to 10 men, thought they may have opted for damage limitation but no they took the game to Dundee Utd.
  14. Of course McCoist's endorsement was critical that's why Green crossed his palm with all that silver, however I'm at a loss as how that could in any way be seen as a positive in regards to RFC. Funnily enough dissenting voices against Green were few and far between what there undoubtedly was a mild hesitation which quickly evaporated once McCoist had been payed to sing a different tune. There's no debate that the fans bought their season tickets once Green had bought McCoist but again I fail to see how that's a positive in regards to RFC. Why wouldn't I be?
  15. In what way did I "pitch in"? I was indeed, but we would have survived regardless of Green and in all probability would be in a better place right now had he never shown his face in Edmiston Drive. Of course there were but that doesn't make McCoist's behavior any less disgusting. I sat at the meeting where McCoist (seated next to Green at the time) was asked if fans should back Green and buy season tickets his response was negative but low and behold his agent negotiated a deal where McCoist picked up a million shares which they then valued at £1.20 per share not the eventual 70p and the cry was "buy, buy, buy".
  16. Bollox. McCoist endorsed Green for purely selfish reason. The notion that Charles Green saved Rangers is simply utterly ridiculous, his offer wasn't even the highest offer received for the asset purchase. Perhaps you missed it but Green and his cronies were lifted the other week and charged with inter alia "serious organised crime".
  17. Certainly trying to. Everything being played out from the back, keeper tends to hold on to the ball too long, quite often he had a man available for a quick through out but let the opportunity pass. They were so high they got caught out trying to claim offside for one of the Dundee Utd goals when the ball was played from a goal kick.
  18. Aye decent enough game to watch, couple soft goals conceded but when they went down to 10 men they stepped it up and took the game to Dundee Utd.
  19. White was in agony and had to be carried off, Thompson went straight into ambulance. Neither of their injuries were the result of malicious challenges just bad luck.
  20. All square now
  21. Down to 10 men Thomson off injured and no subs left
  22. 3-2 penalty for handball Dykes converts.
  23. 3-1 down another soft goal, virtually straight from their goal kick.
  24. 2-1 down, soft header from a corner.
