  1. King never bought Laxey shares. Laxey point blank refused to sell to King and accepted an offer of less per share than King was offering, very, very unusual behaviour froma hedge fund but I guess they had their reasons.
  2. The landed gentry speaketh!
  3. A wig on your glabrous pate would have sufficed.
  4. Very much King's baby.
  5. And my Personal Shopper couldn't be arsed to take it back to Ibrox for a refund
  6. One of the more obscure stats from the Napoli game was that their players ran almost 8km more than us. One of the things that has caused the conspiracy nutters across the city to go into apoplexy these last 2 years has been our incredible levels of fitness, stamina and effort. What's happened this season? I don't think despite a different managers pre-season preferences that there's been a collective collapse in our fitness and conditioning department. I think on the whole the players are fit enough, Morelos aside and how that situation developed the way it did is a failure of both player and management. Players are simply going through the motions their actions or rather inactions speaking louder than words, and that cannot be allowed to continue and fester.
  7. If it makes you feel better just keep pretending everything is hunky dory and they're singing Kumbaya round the camp fire.
  8. What do you want a dressing room video?
  9. I digress, the dressing room is not a harmonious environment unfortunately. Not everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet. Something that I find both sad and disappointing as these situations tend to always end the same way.
  10. Watch the games, watch players senior players throw a deaf ear to his instructions time and time again. Watch us defend set pieces when using the zonal system watch the players reactions when the enivitable happens. Notice the drop off between playing Napoli when the players pride was at stake and Dundee United a Dundee United that shipped dozens of goals in less than a handful of games. There is discord in the dressing room, some players are simpmy going through the motions on the pitch. They aren't going to bust a gut for someone they have little faith in.
  11. Has anyone ever seen a manager regain the dressing room. No? Me neither.
  12. I've already said that numerous times in this thread alone. Much of the current opprobrium being flung in the Boards direction could have been avoided simply by them communicating, the fact they're currently firefighting is a problem of their own making. An effective PR and communication department allied with something resembling a customer service department would go a hell of a long way to preventing a recurrence. We allegedly appointed a new head of customer service but all we seem to have seen is the Ask Rangers stuff which is basically a list of faq's, honestly begs the question what was the point?
  13. We're a million miles away from the Murray days in governance terms, the Board is consensual not dictotorial.
  14. The most expensive thing any Rangers fan ever bought was David Murray's knighthood.
  15. I recall the same re buckets and water inside the Ibrox Suite one year when the RDSC was holding it's AGM/POTY. It was beyond embarrassing.
  16. An example of what I was on about.
  17. Then they'll learn reality bites.
  18. Thanks. Yes the needless communication failures of the Board are causing them unnecessary issues and it's baffling that this situation still exists.
  19. We're currently addressing 40 years of infrastructure neglect, millions have been spent on repairs which were absolutely vital but people simply don't notice i.e new roofing on 3 stands which would have resulted in the refusal of a safety certificate if not attended to. You may recall a section of the Govan Stand roof becoming loose and fans having to be shifted during a game. I remember on one occasion a dozen or so wheelchair fans had to leave a game before half time because they were absolutely drenched because lumps of water were cascading down from the Club Deck roof onto them, when I complained to Jim Hannah the following week he said "Ach it's ok they hadn't cleaned the gutters but they'll be cleaned now." Maintenance doesn't come much more basic than that that's how far we had fallen, I also remember a conversation with the guy who recorded the videos of the training sessions for analysis he said his work was being hampered because he couldn't get a new battery for his camera as every item of expenditure costing over £100 had to be personally authorised by Stockbridge. After the sp.ivs the Club was in a far worse state than imagined way, way worse than the Three Bears believed. It's still going to take tens of £m's and years to catch up yet. That's something that could and should have been communicated far better than it has been. One example is the new wheelchair facilities that will be installed something that could and should have been addressed decades ago and will now cost £m's to rectify and result in a significant ongoing reduction in stadium capacity and the associated ongoing revenue reduction. Have the Board made mistakes? Absolutely, should they be criticised for thst? Absolutely. Personally I think they got their priorities wrong i.e. refurbishing the tunnel area and dressing rooms which could have been delayed and the monies put towards ticketing and customer service areas of failure which are now biting them on the arse along with their cack handed attempt to address the PR shambles which after a promising start has regressed. While we were being raped left, right and centre by various owners those across the city had a free ticket to European riches, their player trading model (I concur with your point about it being exaggerated) has been ongoing for over a decade while as Bennett pointed out ours is six months old, we'll be playing catch for quite a while yet too something we really have to learn to accept. There is also the 10k stadium capacity shortfall which is often forgotten, it's to try and mitigate that which is behind the high cost of CL tickets etc. It's correct to scrutinise the Board and it's fair to highlight their shortcomings and to criticise them where it's, merited. They are not infallible. However some of the stuff I've been reading of late (not on here it has to be said) is pure off the scale batshit mental and totally detached from reality. With Rangers there appears to be only heroes and zeros when in reality there's a world in between. Boardrooms like teams are organic and evolve over time, sometimes both need revolution as opposed to evolution we had the revolution we're now in a period of evolution and we should be thankful for that. The current board (along with King it has to be said) not only stepped up and played they stepped up and paid over and over and over again. The torches need to be extinguished and the pitchforks returned to the barns. People need to be careful what they wish for because they just might get it. The AGM should be fun with the likes of William Stanch ESA, DLA, PIP lecturing successful billionaire businessmen and a group of self made millionaires on how to successfully run a business.
  20. We need to maximise income and Edmiston House is part of the strategy of doing that. I'm sure it will have a much more positive all round impact than many of our signings. Long term planning is something that should be welcomed after decades of ignoring that. Look where short termism took us to, that's why this Board are having to spend tens of millions on capital projects.
  21. Cheers 😀
  22. See them now thanks even if they are in green!
  23. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
  24. Can't seem to find my account details and appear to have lost notifications.
  25. The players who are undermining the manager need to go too if/when he goes.
