UEFA Licence 2011 - Time to put this to bed.
forlanssister replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Always assumed HMRC discovered it and presented it to Rangers (AJ's out of left field quote), Rangers negotiated payment terms which subsequently Whyte didn't honour. Was it not the reason the Whyte "takeover" ended up falling from the initially mooted £6m to the infamous £1? -

Those who yelled " the Emperor has no clothes" weren't fortune tellers or even gifted with second sight they were merely stating the obvious. There was a surfeit of naivety not a lack of it. That's a pretty broad brush you're tarring Douglas and Graeme Park, George Letham, George Taylor, John Bennet, Barry Scott and Andy Ross with but feel free to furnish me with their particular "level of dodginess" they're at as it seems to have passed me by. Worked well did it? I'd hazard a guess the pay TV billions proved to be a bigger catalyst than Abramovic. The leopard and spots idiom is usually reliable enough a guide. I can assure you Llambias and Leach were indeed at one point "in fear of their very lives" and it was quite amusing to witness it in an Ealing Comedy kind of way even though the reality was something altogether different. A couple of minutes of Googling was enough to answer that. "A guy good at cheating the tax man", oh come on, he cheated employees, investors etc and a whole host of creditors of which HMRC was but one. Someone of that ilk is probably the worst possible kind to have in your corner when fighting a dodgy tax case. When someone claims to be throwing you a lifebelt it's wise to check it actually floats. Spare me the usual pontification and psychoanalysis in the inevitable retort to which I'll no doubt bite in a suitable moment of boredom. -

Enough was known at the time about Whyte, his business history and modus operandi. It was there but people couldn't be arsed to look or to listen and exactly the same happened with Green. I stated ad infintum I'd much rather be wrong and have internet egg on my internet face. Murray could have refused to sign the bill of sale, no held a gun to his head but he chose to do so in order that he could benefit personally which he did by cherry picking anything of worth out of Murray Group. It wasn't the credit crunch that wrecked his business it was his own ego and severely flawed business model. -

A point to remember is that your ears were amongst the deafest . There is no mystery David Murray COULD have stopped the sale but chose not to for his own personal gain, same could be said of Donald Muir. -
Is it being lifted completely? Normally they cut it right back to the root and reseed it, that's what they did at Auchenhowie when I was down a few weeks back (looks just the same as that pic when they do that). Warburton got them to bring forward the maintenance of the two main training pitches in order that the be in perfect condition for a June 18 start, another sign of the professionalism now adopted.

I sincerely hope so, used to collect over 100 a time to take up the road (not all for myself though!). East Fife ones are even better though.

There is STEAK in the steak pies which in itself is a novelty!
-
The hospitality pies are light years ahead of the pies proferred to Joe Punter in the West Enclosure.

Or even worse a Nationalist!!!!.......

Oh and for the avoidance of doubt it is not an official SPFL account which should in itself be patently obvious.
-
So people can vote and f*&k up the plan of the bigot who operates that account, I imagine.

The Summer Transfer Rumour Round-up Thread
forlanssister replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
Make of this what you will. Presentation day v Alloa and the team are doing their lap of honour with the trophy. Thompson is suited and booted walking round the ground in what seems is his own little world kind of oblivious to what's actually going on round about him. A young lassie circa 16 shouts profusely "JORDAN,JORDAN,JORDAN............" and gets no response. Her friend says "Forget it you'll get him later" to which to which the first lassie replies "He won't be here next season." -
It was mooted that it was going to go where the shop is at present.

I just want talented players I care not one jot about their nationality, colour or creed.

FWIW he was at the last NARSA Convention in Canada.

Perhaps by accident or design the wording of the tweet gives a false impression.

Not aware of anyone being on the board of Club 1872 , I remain to be convinced that Club 1872 is or will be anything approaching "independent".
