The Summer Transfer Rumour Round-up Thread

The clowns who signed the 7 are out the door I doubt we'll repeat such an exercise. If Cammy Bell is as good for Dundee Utd as he was for us I'll be delighted, should keep them down for a few years. -
Scottish Cup Final: Police release images of 13 men

They will end up arresting 100% of Bears that wee on the pitch and less than 1% of the Hibs fans then pat themselves on the back for a job well done. -
Use the "View from area" function on the website.

Each year it gets older and older mainly first generation ex-pats, average age must be well over 50. -
As far as I'm aware that won't be happening in time for next season, had it been possible to use the Edmiston House car park that would have accommodated the wheelchair users in the East Enclosure who currently park in the Albion. It had been hoped to bring all disabled parking onto the Ibrox footprint but that isn't possible at the moment. There are a very limited number of wheelchair parking spaces behind the Broomloan that are currently used but the vast majority are currently located in the Albion. A major problem of having them in the Albion is that it is quite dangerous crossing from the Albion especially after they close off Edmiston Drive. I find King's response quite heart warming and indicative of the change in attitude from the Club towards the disabled supporters however there is still a long, long road to travel but the positive change in attitude is nonetheless most welcome. I'll have an article on the current state of play and such-forth in the not too distant future.

Rangers board to discuss safe standing area at Ibrox with fans

Hope that means what I think it does. -
They had an option which they must have exercised.

It was explained to me that Rangers had to provide Rangers Retail with suitable space within the Ibrox footprint but that didn't necessarily mean the space currently utilised by the Megastore.

Mostly just common sense, not a bad thing at all.

Stanley tell Rangers: ‘Duo can’t train until compensation agreed’
forlanssister replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Rangers and Accrington Stanley have agreed a compensation figure for Matt Crooks and Josh Windass, allowing both players to begin training with the Ibrox club. The pair agreed pre-contract deals in January to move to Rangers when their Stanley deals expired this month. Rangers' pre-season training began at the weekend but the English fourth-tier club refused to allow Crooks and Windass to take part, stating that they were still under contract until June 30 and no compensation had been agreed or paid. Clubs must pay training compensation for players under the age 23 who move cross-border, providing the players have been offered new deals on the same or better terms than their current contracts. Accrington Stanley owner Andy Holt criticised how Rangers had conducted their business, telling STV: "They've got two great players for nothing so the least they can do is pay up properly and stop playing games". However, Rangers said that they were willing to make payment but were awaiting details from Stanley. Now, the clubs have agreed a compensation fee of around £120,000 for both players and Stanley have allowed them to begin their Rangers careers. http://stv.tv/sport/football/1358035-rangers-and-accrington-stanley-agree-compensation-for-players/ -
