Sadly as we know only too well non of that is guaranteed but it's also crystal clear that without suitable investment we're going nowhere fast.

Alas it took me till we spunked £12m on a Chelsea bench warmer till I wakened up and even thensimply refused to believe Murray was anything like the financial wrecking ball that he actually was. Sadly we were always going to need someone willing to dirty their hands to set us on the correct road though I concede the time is fast arriving when it will need a clean pair of hands to take control of the reins. Sadly I'm sceptical we'll see anything approaching the £20m you speak of (I'm assuming your £20m covers only transfer fees and the associated costs that follow on, wages commissions etc) but I'd certainly like to think it will be in excess of the £3m that's doing the rounds today. Our Club Secretary appears to be a penny pinching joke akin to the pathetically sorry excuse that masquerades as our PR department. There is little doubt we require heavyweights from the Political and Business world in our Boardroom, we also need a couple of strong Non-Executive Directors (not necessarily Rangers fans either) with the ability to say "NO" when necessary but I understand that would be virtually impossible until some of the legacy issues. I'd also like to see us go on bended knee if needs be to David Burnside and give him carte blanche to completely demolish and rebuild our entire internal and external PR as it is worse than useless. Whatever that costs would be money well spend as our current skinflint approach is costing us dear financially and will continue to do so till this is addressed.

Turning shame into success: Rangers v Celtic
forlanssister replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Pray tell where did I say you did? What innuendo? First part would be to keep those who raped us and continue to do so as far away from our Club as possible obviously not a view you share. Then accept the reality that the only investors who will invest are the current HNWI's who already have and those of a similar ilk, people the calibre of the like of John Bennett, written any missives lately to put pressure on him to prevent him investing in Rangers or is his investment acceptable when you personally express a desire to pocket some of it? There will be investment forthcoming there will be an increase in turnover, will it be enough? Of course not but it never ever will be, it is what it is. Why would I be? -

The anyone but King mantra will serve us as well as the anyone but Murray did. The notion that Ashley would be a benevolent Sugar Daddy to us is utterly ridiculous. Here's a quote from one of your favourite Ashley placemen from the time when they were pulling our strings, "They'd [the fans] better get used to coming second to Celtic. -

More those who liked to conduct the club's transfer dealings through Willie McKay aka the Resting In My Account Loyal.
-
City of London Police raided Ibrox while investigating dodgy transfer dealings connected to France (Boumsong deal) and uncovered the EBT side letters which they handed to HMRC, the rest is history as they say.
-
It was such a raid that unmasked our EBT woes.

Probably because there's not exactly a queue of candidates even for warming the bench as the case of Senderos proved a few weeks back against Motherwell. It's a stomach or rib injury. That Halliday started just goes to show how shallow our pool of midfield talent is.

He was injured.

I don't have a problem with anybody's opinion unlike yourself I've never ever felt the compulsion to go reporting anybody to anyone for a post made here or on anywhere else for that matter. -

Yet like the republicans who hate the Crown but love the half-crown you were quite prepared to take the King's shilling and serve under him, disingenuous indeed! -
Baldy Shahid thought he was safe in Pakistan too, he found out otherwise.

Perhaps not voluntarily but he wouldn't be the first to be returned despite his desire not to.
