  1. Definitely looking to toughen up the defence and midfield next season! [tweet]860902760581148672[/tweet]
  2. The European Court told us we had to, even murderers get bail now. Human Rights anarat.
  3. Hence the haste with with which Collyer Bristow's insurers pumped out a £24m settlement to BDO. Surmising the evidence so far it would seem Whyte was way out of his depth, Whyte a mere amateur whilst the bankers and Murray were Champions League players.
  4. If you know what you're going to find then there's no point in looking.
  5. The best (most comprehensive) twitter coverage seems to be provided by https://twitter.com/DJSHenderson
  6. He's trying to sow enough seed of doubt in order to at least get "that bastard verdict" that's all he needs to do.
  7. As it stands I tend to agree but I feel there's a few more revelations to come and by the conclusion of the trial that view may well change.
  8. Yet the proof of funds letter that was accepted as proof was apparently unsigned.
  9. IIRC that was briefly mentioned the other day, apparently it was unsigned.
  10. Read Andrew Black's and James Doleman's twitter timelines of the proceedings so far and reach your own conclusion. I imagine both BDO and Octopus (Ticketus's parent) are following the proceedings very, very closely.
  11. They were only interested in getting the loan repaid and closing Rangers accounts they simply didn't care who bought it as long as someone did.
  12. Murray didn't fall for anything and neither did the bank.
  13. I wouldn't call it trolling per se it's more part arrogance, part ignorance and a shit load of naivety.
  14. Was that not in fact BoS money and not his 'own money' and has effectively been written off by the bank due to MIH's liquidation?
  15. Just goes to show how far out of touch you are with the ordinary fans with practically every view you opine, be it Murray, Ashley, Llambias, Leach, strict liability, even King etc...etc.
  16. Only 4 of the players named were Rangers players in the 90's.
  17. If we have learned anything it's not how much you spend but how you spend what you have. Frankly I'm more interested in who the manager wants rid of than the size of any transfer pot.
  18. Sadly as we know only too well non of that is guaranteed but it's also crystal clear that without suitable investment we're going nowhere fast.
  19. Alas it took me till we spunked £12m on a Chelsea bench warmer till I wakened up and even thensimply refused to believe Murray was anything like the financial wrecking ball that he actually was. Sadly we were always going to need someone willing to dirty their hands to set us on the correct road though I concede the time is fast arriving when it will need a clean pair of hands to take control of the reins. Sadly I'm sceptical we'll see anything approaching the £20m you speak of (I'm assuming your £20m covers only transfer fees and the associated costs that follow on, wages commissions etc) but I'd certainly like to think it will be in excess of the £3m that's doing the rounds today. Our Club Secretary appears to be a penny pinching joke akin to the pathetically sorry excuse that masquerades as our PR department. There is little doubt we require heavyweights from the Political and Business world in our Boardroom, we also need a couple of strong Non-Executive Directors (not necessarily Rangers fans either) with the ability to say "NO" when necessary but I understand that would be virtually impossible until some of the legacy issues. I'd also like to see us go on bended knee if needs be to David Burnside and give him carte blanche to completely demolish and rebuild our entire internal and external PR as it is worse than useless. Whatever that costs would be money well spend as our current skinflint approach is costing us dear financially and will continue to do so till this is addressed.
  20. Pray tell where did I say you did? What innuendo? First part would be to keep those who raped us and continue to do so as far away from our Club as possible obviously not a view you share. Then accept the reality that the only investors who will invest are the current HNWI's who already have and those of a similar ilk, people the calibre of the like of John Bennett, written any missives lately to put pressure on him to prevent him investing in Rangers or is his investment acceptable when you personally express a desire to pocket some of it? There will be investment forthcoming there will be an increase in turnover, will it be enough? Of course not but it never ever will be, it is what it is. Why would I be?
