  1. Murray's statement was as weak as it was pathetic.
  2. Yes a fact which should not be lost in the furore.
  3. Dave King could with his 5.33% holding (or any group of individuals controlling 5%) because it was more than 12 months since the last one was held, whether that's still possible in administration I don't know.
  4. Can't see it.
  5. Agreed ergo he knew what he said he didn't know !
  6. I'm no more flippant of their views in that post than I am of my own.
  7. Perhaps I should have said "strongly inferred" instead of "called" but the meaning remains the same.
  8. As much as we all want what's best for Rangers we must recognise that what will happen is what's best for Craig Whyte, no matter how hard that is to stomach. Too many potential pitfalls to be remotely positive just now I'll leave that for Ergatrude, der Berliner and their ilk.
  9. He acted for Whyte during the time of the purchase and accompanied Whyte to meetings with HMRC, Traynor called him a "liar" in print yesterday.
  10. Time will tell, perhaps we did perhaps we didn't, we just have to hope and pray that it is.
  11. There is no legal requirement for HMRC to issue the bill immediately it crystallises though is there? They can wait till we exit administration (if in fact we do) then go back to court again can they not?
  12. One for Bluedell. Can HMRC if they win the big tax case hold off from issuing the actual bill till a time that suits them ergo waiting till we exit administration and then starting the process all over again ?
  13. Until the compliance officer intervenes anyway!
  14. The end of The Rangers Football Club plc is a massive victory?
  15. You're way off the mark. Whyte is trying to use his floating charge to appoint administrators. HMRC are disputing the validity of that charge to appoint their own administrator.
  16. No the Ticketus monies may prove to be his undoing. If HMRC can prove to the court that the Ticketus monies were used to provide "financial assistance" to Whyte ( basically that we were "bought" with our own money) then that is an illegal act that will render his floating charge useless.
  17. Nothing Craig Whyte has done is for the benefit of the club but rather for the benefit of Craig Whyte.
  18. Looks like he hasn't paid PAYE,VAT, NIC's since he took over.
  19. Douglas Fraser@BBCDouglsFraserReply Retweet Favorite · Open I'm told this is not just about the back tax to 2001. It's more to do with unpaid tax since last May when Craig Whyte took over
  20. Far from averting it maybe it merely brought the hellish prospect one step closer.
  21. Can you confirm if HMRC's actions today have nothing to do with "the big tax case" but rather other matters?
  22. The Herald asks Just where has the money gone ?
  23. Sadly there are all too many who believe his every word.
  24. As much as it was inevitable, and in a perverse way you're correct in the sense of relief but at the same time even that tiny crumb of comfort is tempered by the feeling I've had a knife stuck through my heart...
  25. I happily concede to being the resident doom and gloom merchant, but however deep my pessimism dives it could never travel as the distance your optimism soars upwards.
