Octopus (Ticketus) Issue statement re Rangers
forlanssister replied to forlanssister's topic in Rangers Chat
Betts hasn't f*&ked over Octopus/Ticketus that's for sure, whether he's f*&ked over RFC remains to be seen. Betts runs an Asset Finance company of his own which has a common director with Octopus. -

They are publicly available documents (by law) anybody can get them from Companies House, though you won't get these now as they were stricken however the documents of the actual striking are available. They are 100% genuine. -

I think that was the intention but did they bugger it up by stating?: "Floating charge over the whole assets of the Company excluding Released Assets" Then they list the "Released Assets" Tickets, Season Tickets, Ticket Proceeds, etc,,,etc... Did they inadvertently release the entire floating charge except for the "Released Assets", meaning they did the opposite of what they intended therefore had to get the Court to strike the documents? -

Perhaps he was working on behalf of Octopus/Ticketus rather than RFC would imagine there was a rather healthy commission to be earned there far larger than the one Close Leasing would've paid re the catering deal. -

I think that was the intention but they f*&ked up the paper work hence them applying to have it stricken from the record. As I said there wasn't a replacement issued in Scotland but that doesn't mean their isn't a security via the RFC Group Ltd which is registered in England. -
I have more faith in the FSA tracking the Pritchards stuff than I have of Duff & Phelps tracking ours. Perhaps Pritchards monies had a brief sojourn to the Collyer Bristow client account perhaps to provide proof of funds until Craig Whyte could avail himself of the Ticketus monies.

Date was the date the original charge was granted in favour of the Bank of Scotland. probably one of the most important points of the whole deal for Whyte. Yes it's Phil Betts signature the other I'm pretty sure is Gary Withey the secretary and not Craig Whyte. (IIRC) -

We beg to differ but that's neither here nor there, the important part is that the MGO5 was later stricken from the record. I think but not 100% sure because it was a big f*&k up. Is the charge actually covering the Season Tickets or is it every other asset except the Season Tickets ? Also when it was stricken it was not replaced by another filing in Scotland, but since RFC Group Ltd is an English company and if they provided the security (which incidentally backs one of Craig Whyte's claims) it may not have been picked on as there is no MG05's for English companies IIRC (and stand to be corrected). -

Here are the original MG05's that were subsequently stricken from the records, what replaced them if in fact anything does has not yet been ascertained. Check the wording and you will see that it is not just "Season Ticket" income they are entitled to under this charge. -
Unlikely, though some flow in the other direction may very well have occurred.

FSA Limitations Placed on Pritchard Stockbrokers
forlanssister replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
Investors warned over Pritchard Stockbrokers Investors have been warned a stockbroking firm, whose company secretary is ex-Rangers chairman Craig Whyte, may not be able to return their investment. Merchant Capital had £8.8m on account with Pritchard Stockbrokers in Bournemouth at the end of June 2011. Parent firm Merchant House Group issued the warning to its clients in a statement to the stock exchange. Mr Whyte is a lead investor in Pritchard. He placed Rangers FC into administration earlier this week. Last Friday, the stockbroking firm was banned from further trading by the Financial Services Authority. It ruled that it had been using clients' funds to pay its own expenses and to trade on its own account, thus putting clients' funds at risk. That broke the rules under which it is licensed to act as a stockbroker. Merchant House Group responded with a statement saying it was confident client funds were secure, but it has since updated and reversed that statement. It told the London Stock Exchange: "We are awaiting further news on the possible implications and therefore we cannot at this time determine whether clients of Merchant Capital may suffer some economic loss". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-business-17073568 -

Perhaps they led to believe that the RFC Group Ltd was Glasgow Rangers. -
http://www.octopusinvestments.com/press/news.html?newsId=363 OCTOPUS PRESS STATEMENT ON TICKETUS 17 February 2012 Octopus Investments would like to clarify the position of Ticketus with regard to the current Glasgow Rangers coverage. Ticketus is one of the many entities into which Octopus Protected EIS invests. Ticketus has purchased tickets for Glasgow Rangers games for a number of seasons in advance, as it has done for a number of years previously with the club. Ticketus does not lend money; Ticketus is the owner of assets - the tickets. Octopus is continuing to work with the administrators and Glasgow Rangers on this matter.

That has been something that's always puzzled me the only rational explanation I can think off is that the FTT should have concluded virtually the day he bought us and delivered a verdict circa the end of June and perhaps he thought he could've hidden everything through that, I doubt anybody would've questioned the fact if he'd placed us administration if the big tax case had went against us, it's crystal clear he wanted to spend as little as possible before we entered administration hence his behaviour re wee tax case, transfer policy etc...etc. Either that or he's criminally insane or mentally deluded.
-
I firmly believe and have consistently maintained from the outset when it was not exactly fashionable to think that Craig Whyte bought Rangers with the sole intention of screwing everything he possibly could out of it. No matter how hard I researched Craig Whyte (and I expended a considerable amount of time doing so and still do) I could find absolutely no proof whatsoever of him being a successful "Venture Capitalist" or "Turnaround Specialist", all the evidence pointed and points to his modus operandi being to gain control of distressed businesses and liquidating them for personal gain with absolutely no regard for the consequences others suffered because of his actions. Read the shareholder circular, you'll find a bigger fairy story than anything that ever came from the pen of Hans Christian Andersen. Scary thing is if the FTT had concluded when scheduled to last year he may never have been found out. While there is no doubt Whyte is a very sharp operator it appears he now may have inadvertently nicked one of his own arteries. RFC is far from the only problem facing Whyte at the moment, Pritchards is going to be a very interesting story when the full truth of what has been going on emerges as will the Merchant House (of Cards ?). Take a look at his recent utterances re Ticketus (any other issues) where his lies were exposed in front of the nation by the very administrators he fought to get the court to appoint. To borrow the words of Sheriff Ross, Craig Whyte is "wholly unsuitable".
-
How does that old adage go again ? Something like, "Criminals always return to the scene of the crime".
-
Perversely it is to certain degree as it is preventing Whyte from doing any more damage (for now anyway).
-
Believe it or not Whyte and Kevin Sykes were once involved with a company called WHITE KNIGHT GROUP LIMITED

I believe Pritchards may prove to have greater baring on matters than initially thought. Causing problems for his other interests perhaps we will see some sort of domino effect occur yet. It was reported that £1m of the money in the Collyer Bristow client account used to provide proof of funds by Craig Whyte came from MHG. -
Craig Whyte and Kevin Sykes used control a company called Gateway Insolvency Ltd via a company called Chariot Traders Ltd, somehow I doubt if they always acted in the best interests of both the creditors and shareholders! Chariot Traders Ltd also links to the Earley brothers who link to Banstead Athletic.

That's the reason Alastair Johnston contacted Intelligence & Enforcement Directorate re illegal "financial assistance". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Financial_assistance_(share_purchase) â?? I have had numerous approaches following the recent revelations in the press about the acquisition of Rangers Football Club and the use of future season ticket money. I am not in a position to answer all the questions put to me, but I do recognise the issue is causing much concern. I believe this is a prevalent view amongst Rangers stakeholders who are now demanding full transparency about the funding of the acquisition of the Club, its current financial status, and most importantly, the way forward. In order to allow all of the options potentially available to stabilize the Club be explored, there must be total disclosure of all the underlying obstacles that need to be surmounted in order to achieve this. Therefore, in my capacity as the Chairman of the Club during the period when it has been alleged that certain financial arrangements of concern were executed by the buyer, I have formally requested that the Intelligence & Enforcement Directorate investigate and clarify this matter once and for all which is surely in the interests of all concerned.â? Paul Murray registers interest in buying Rangers
forlanssister replied to Danny's topic in Rangers Chat
Of course Whyte has a plan, he still thinks there's more filthy lucre to extract from us. He'll be back shortly telling more lies and false promises. He'll meet with fan groups and spin more shite. He'll claim it had to be done, only he can save the club, no one else willing, Rangers best interests at heart. He doesn't give a flying f*&k the club, the fans or the other shareholders Craig Whyte only cares about Craig whyte. He cares not one jot for 140 years of history and tradition. He cares not about killing off the Rangers Football Club plc. He cares not that a "newco" would be excluded from European competitions for three years because he'll be long gone. Remember : "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." -

More probably he reckoned he'd raped all there was to rape, the sign was when Betts left the building having accomplished his mission.
