Rangers administration: David Murray says selling to Whyte was mistake
forlanssister replied to Zappa's topic in Rangers Chat
I think it starts off quite well and analytical then gradually the bitterness shows through to the point it demeans the post too much and the valid point of the comment is thus lost. -

I know but the blow to his extraordinary formidable ego must have been of thunderous proportions. -

Thing is not one of them contains the claim that the Independent Board Committee (+ Paul Murray & Dave King) was duped, everybody's been duped claimed Murray except it seems the IBC the ones who actually did investigate and the ones whose advice and pleadings he totally ignored. -

The fifth comment is a f*&king book ! http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spl/rangers-administration-david-murray-says-selling-to-whyte-was-mistake-1-2170496 -
David Murray admitted he had been "duped" by Craig Whyte
forlanssister replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
So sir David when can we expect your public donation to the RFF? The IBC and other directors (save Muir & McGill) were not duped were they? Why did you ignore their repeated warnings not to sell the club to Craig Whyte? What checks did you make and who did you entrust with doing the checks? If you have indeed got a legal document why are you not taking legal action to enforce it? You cannot for one f*&king minute be serious? Once again why the lack legal of action to back up your claims No shit! Not near as much as those who hold Rangers at heart though eh? But you know why they weren't forming a queue don't you? And that wasn't like a big red light flashing before your eyes? Oh the administrators, how far into the sale process did you become aware of the relationship between Donald Muir and David Grier, and who employed the services of David Grier via MCR since there was no relationship between Craig Whyte and MCR prior to the takeover of RFC, who paid the bill for the services of MCR (now known as Duff & Phelps)? Can you guarantee that your representatives never mentioned either Ticketus or our 16 Arsenal shares in their dealings with Craig Whyte or his representatives? No preference for our next owners but yet had a preference for our last owner? Too f*&king right it's important the club survives pity you didn't take that view last May though eh? -
Was that before or after he changed his name to Sir Walter Scott?

True .

We do have a say in what's acceptable (though you are indeed correct re the present moment)because at some point down the line they're going to have to ask us to subscribe to a fundraising exercise of some sort or another most probably via a share issue of some type or other and as has been proved before if the Bears are not happy with the circumstances surrounding it then they will not participate in it.
-
Having £3b under your control doesn't make you worth £3b. It's not their £24m it belongs to the individuals who invested with them. I may be wrong but I see Ticketus's involvement more as a damage limitation exercise as it's not really in their interests to see us liquidated, the big question is how much damage they're willing to take and also how much our fans see as being acceptable.

From the Scotsman http://www.scotsman.com/sport/football/spl/rangers-administration-paul-murray-has-good-reason-to-join-forces-with-ticketus-1-2168802 Still need more meat on the bones re Ticketus imho.

I've yet to see any evidence whatsoever that Ellis is actually a "property developer" he is merely listed as a director of a relatively tiny property company. He is a director and 63% shareholder in Blunham Properties Ltd which has a net worth of - £140,172 (yes minus) He is also a director of Newaston Ltd which was only registered on 26/11/2010 and has yet to file accounts. All his other active directorships are of RFC Group ltd, RFC plc and its' various subsidiaries.

Fully understand what you're saying, which is why I find our former owners jaunt and the timing of it rather peculiar indeed.
-
Still one of utter bewilderment, just want things sorted one way or the other asap.
-
I take it the fact that our former owner was in Singapore the day we entered administration having flown there in a private jet in order to flog some plonk and hold some business meetings is purely coincidental ?
-
I imagine they're fully aware that the fans want some facts pronto, be surprised if they're not out in the press Monday.
-
Don't know about on the record but I think you may find some answers in the Record.....

The Administrators - one or two things confuse me
forlanssister replied to A Horse With No Name's topic in Rangers Chat
If Clark and Whitehouse are working 7 days a week and 10 hours a day (which is not an unrealistic possibility) then we could well be paying well over 80 odd £k a week just for those 2 alone.
