  1. BH's clients funds would be at no more risk from John Bennett's (prospective) involvement in RFC than they were when BH was spending his time constructing extensive reports on the feasibility of fans buying RFC for the RST. I'm pretty sure BH's staff would have ensured everything was in order just as John Bennett's staff could do likewise if he was involved with RFC. Brian Kennedy has 36 current directorships and is involved with 55 active companies yet John Bennett being a Blue Knight is a step to far?
  2. In an ideal world we'd tell Ticketus to f*&k off but alas we're not living in an ideal world. As things stand Ticketus can block a CVA (present court action may change that) or tie us up for years in litigation. It may well be beneficial for both parties to work together but like you I think we certainly need more clarity before we can decide for ourselves.
  3. I take it you've written to the CEO of Club9 and Brian Kennedy demanding answers to the very questions you're posing in this thread? In the same spirit of openness and transparency of course, I for one and I'm sure others too would love to hear their replies before we decide for certain which bid we decide to back.
  4. I suppose in the same way every creditor world wide ceases to be a creditor either A) they recoup some of their money or B) we cease to exist.
  5. I think Ticketus presume that they can achieve a greater return through working with the Blue Knights (or any other prospective bidder) than they can through a straight CVA or through a liquidation, thereby minimising any prospective loss for their investors/clients surely the correct approach for them to take is to look after the interests of their investors/clients ?
  6. While I think the administrators have many questions to answer and this administration and everything that surrounds seems to veer between peculiar and downright odd, it's best to take anything produced as a result of Leggat bashing a keyboard with a very, very large pinch of the proverbial salt. After all he was producing such gems as this..... .....less than a fortnight before we entered administration. I dare you to read through this and not laugh http://leggoland2.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/rangers-crisis-and-craig-whyte.html Leggat has become such an irrelevance that even when he has a valid point it's hard to take him remotely seriously.
  7. Look at the time line in that case, we simply haven't got that particular luxury before we are liquidated.
  8. We dealt him a hand of cards and he played them. Releasing him was voodoo economics at best, negligent behaviour imho. Not the best player in the world but just about our only option genuine pace wise, probably decided to chuck it because he was pissed off watching two left backs in his position.
  9. But it was addressed in private what point is there making it public?
  10. Only someone who intends to liquidate would bid without the appropriate caveats. This administration process is being handled very, very unusually.
  11. It wouldn't surprise me if this ends up in the pages of The Sun, I really don't see the wisdom of this being in the public domain at this particular juncture.
  12. That particular Whyte Knight hasn't left the board and has no intention of doing so, watch out for him shouting cheque mate!? (somebody else's of course)
  13. Nobody, despite the "officers of the court" spiel. http://visar.csustan.edu/aaba/PwcElliottinsolvency.pdf
  14. Most of the info I got came as George not Brian I assumed it was the same but I didn't get anything as Brian George but what I got for George tallied with what I had for Brian if you know what I mean, sounds better than it reads. It's not that particular Mr Brian George Phillips anyway, thanks nonetheless.
  15. No it's not often we do BH. While I respect your right to raise and voice your concerns , I'm concerned that people of the calibre we require won't come forward. I fully expect 'he who pays the piper calls the tune' and understand it. Take a look across the city and the boardroom there with a couple of exceptions is full of "big hitters", even the board we had prior to the takeover had it's share of "big hitters", most of these people are not restricted to one or two jobs and their 'football job' doesn't appear to hamper their ability to do their 'real job'. If we are to extract ourselves out of our present quagmire it's people the calibre of John Bennett and the other BK's that we require. I fully understand and accept your concern for the funds of your clients that are invested with Hendersons, but I honestly don't think they would tolerate any slippage in standards or performance of the funds just so John Bennett could indulge his passion. It never occurred to me that fans would think he could invest his firms money in RFC, perhaps you're correct and I was being over generous regarding that particular notion. Also do you know if Brian Phillips is also known as 'George Phillips'?
  16. I'm sorry but I must be missing something here because I fail to see the relevance of what he does for a living having a baring on his potential investment or his potential appointment as a director of RFC. I didn't think the term financial big hitter is quite such a blatant misnomer either, I'm pretty sure nobody was daft enough to think he's worth a sum equal to the value of the funds he manages. Also think it's premature writing to his boss considering that the BK's have as yet not got control of the club and may well never do so.
  17. Whyte will be remembered simply as an unmitigated disaster no more no less.
  18. I think lawyers and accountants will have a lot more cash to come as as a result of our travails.
  19. Well Hicks and Gillette had a pretty stunning tenure at Liverpool.
  20. It's information whether it's disinformation or not we'll soon find out. Considering the utterances of Duff & Phelps I don't think it's a case of getting nasty more a case of getting nastier.
  21. Have a feeling those who voted for the Americans might be in for a shock!
  22. They haven't got control of the club yet so it's pretty academic, but I think they'd be well aware £1k is too much for a lot of people in these strained economic circumstances I'm sure they'll have an appropriate vehicle in place as to permit as broad a church as possible to participate in the future of the club when ( or perhaps if) the time comes.
  23. I think it starts off quite well and analytical then gradually the bitterness shows through to the point it demeans the post too much and the valid point of the comment is thus lost.
  24. I know but the blow to his extraordinary formidable ego must have been of thunderous proportions.
  25. Too big for one post So here's Part Two.
