He made the bid almost immediately we went into administration, apparently a proportion of it was him writing off money that we "owe" him, and another portion was the money that was laying in the Collyer Bristow client account.

I think the reaction to a possible newco has been unbelievably passive to be honest. I grudgingly admire the way Duff & Phelps managed to boil that particular frog.

It wouldn't surprise me if the 2 overseas bids that Duff & Phelps are on about are the original German one and Bill Ng and the UK Whyte himself (yes he really did put in a bid!).

I'm in favour of whoever can deliver a CVA and have done since day one, now whoever that is I care not one iota what their nationality is, not what their religion is, not what race they are. Believe it not I know you just find this too unbelievable to believe but wait for this I've heard some of our fans have on occasion "behaved derogatorily" towards Roman Catholics and wait for it, wait for it, apparently we have some Roman Catholic players.........and how f*&ked up must I be for I was at our game yesterday and cheered both Roman Catholics and Americans!!!!! All this faux outrage over somebody who has a history of talking the talk and failing to walk the walk when it comes to buying sports clubs.

Good job he doesn't own Blackburn then eh because their fans might really hurt his feelings. When is everybody going to waken up to his/Club9s' history in sports they're kite flyers pure and simple?

That size is an off cut, a friendly printer will knock you some of these for free..... Only one I saw on Wednesday was one about "Duff and Duffer" which was hanging from Bar72.

I find the thought of a hard nosed businessman to be put off by a couple of banners as simply ludicrous. Miller and Club9 have just repeated the same crap as they did at Sheffield Wednesday, Tranmere, the San Diego ice hockey team and the TRAC scam. They were simply full of the stuff that makes the grass go green in Texas.

We are undoubtedly a financial basket case akin to the footballing version of Greece years of financial abuse has come home to roost, I can't believe that some of our fans still don't realise how acutely desperate our actual situation is.

I've yet to see such a banner or statement like that let alone write one. You're not stupid enough to believe this whole deal collapsed because of "Yank go home".

I'm led to believe far more cash would be required for working capital in a newco scenario as opposed to the CVA scenario.

Some more time was needlessly wasted and more cash (both scarce commodities at RFC plc) was needlessly burned up, Duff & Phelps seem hell bent on liquidating us but why?
