The "concert party" won't be increasing their stake but will maintain the current percentages.

FC Ufa given visas for their tie with Gers…
forlanssister replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
I know, I need sectioned! Left the house last Tuesday at 03.15 to catch the red eye to Paris endured 3 hours in the hell that is Charles De Gaulle then to Vienna, at Vienna aitport went to get the CAT train into the Main Station but the lift was broken so had to take a taxi. Did manage to blag a bogof with my bus pass for the 3 hour train journey to Graz. Got the train from Graz to Maribor but had to be manhandled aboard a service bus to get back. Up at 07.00 to get the train back to Vienna airport before a further 3 hours of hell in Charles De Gaulle. Got home at 11pm on Friday shit deen. Spent Saturday organising flights and filling in the visa (no small task)! Up at 06.45 to drive to Killie and home the back o 7. Up this morning at 06.45 to drive to Edinburgh to hand in the visa, a slightly easier experience than I thought though the £108.40 did sting. Bird checked my form an said "there is a mistake that will be £5" . -

Hope not I've paid for my flights and hotel! Tomorrow I'll attempt to get a visa. -
Ban for Ryan Jack surely?
-
The second part may or may not be true, I imagine the Chancery Court will tell us in the not too distant future.

SD's 25% of in stadium advertising was part of the "normalisation" of the retail deal that Llambias "renegotiated". It wouldn't have been included in any "matching deal" so it isn't 100% clear SD are in fact gone but whoever get's the advertising spacenow will have to pay for it.

Watch the replay and you'll see the linesman did nothing, he didn't flag or signal anything he just kept up with play. -

He was the 4th official on Sunday, was it him who had a word in Clancy's ear? -
Flanagan, I'd punt Tavernier.

Aberdeen 0 Rangers 2 FGS : Morelos -
In fairness the return will be greater post the 2017 renegotiation but I doubt it will recoup anything like the £3m and the associated costs which are ongoing.
-
We are where we are because we thought we could do just that and break free for £1m while all along SD knew that we couldn't.
-
Bet it didn't stop you buying one though!

Yes alas all I have are facts sorry if that's inconvenient for you. The inherited SD contract is irrelevant what is relevant is the current contract and it's influence on a new contract. Now I don't for one second doubt the current contract was negotiated (by Rangers) with the very best of intentions however the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
-
So your claim that this contract was inherited is clearly false yes? Base your decisions on whatever you want I'll stick to forming mine according to the facts.
-
The current contract was signed by the current Board. It is that contract that was the subject of the Court hearing.
-
My strategy like yours is counts for absolutely nothing. My comment is based on the fact we were led to believe we were escaping Ashley's clutches when it appears the contrary is true.
-
The PA supplies their clients with copy their clients then rewrite or edit that copy for their own needs that's how news agencies work.
-
Of course it's incompetence whether that be by the Board or the legal team isn't exactly clear but ultimate responsibility falls to the Board who after all they would have gathered the plaudits had their strategy proved fruitful. My strategy is irrelevant I didn't get us to where we are today that was the Board and it is they who have failed to extradite us from the clutches of Ashley despite intimating to us that they had. I'm about as far as you get from being a critic of the Board but by the same token I don't submit to having blind faith in them either. If you don't think they've erred in this instance so be it carry on with the delusion.
-
I'm all for a good conspiracy theory but accusing the PA of skewing a court report to damage us is f*&king nuts, if you're that concerned seek out the transcript as far as I'm aware it should be publicly available.
-
I have absolutely no doubt the personalities involved are currently the major factor because logic seems to be conspicuous by its absence.
-
That's quite a common occurrence and one of the reasons that the Press Association exists, doubt there's anything nefarious in the reporting from the PA.
-
You think the Board themselves aren't aware this is a monumental f*&k up. To me it appears they relied upon legal advice that to put it mildly was seriously flawed.
-
It's cost of over 3 1/2 million to get increased terms how long will that take to recoup? Got rid of Puma you jest surely? We've replaced a finite termination date with an infinite one, to paraphrase The Eagles " welcome to the Hotel Sports Direct you can check out any time you like but you can never leave." Do you seriously think SD went to court expecting to get everything they wanted? They're playing a game one at which they're very experienced and adept at. Rangers capitulated I expect Ashley was delighted by yesterday's result. Disclosing the original deal would benefit our current position in what way? The Judge may have his concerns but there is nothing he can do about it as long as what SD are doing is legal. A thousand cuts you say we haven't even drawn blood yet. From Ashley's point of view slowly works perfectly well given to him it has nothing to do with money now.
