  1. That Whyte was a shyster pure and simple. I did state it at the time and continued to do so throughout his tenure (and I was far from alone in doing so) but the vast majority simply didn't want to hear it ergo the bannings, the cries of Timmy, Taig, Fenian cunt, Kerryfail accountant yada, yada, yada, that's not with the benefit of hindsight or even claiming the gift of foresight but by a pragmatic look at the facts and drawing a conclusion from that.
  2. Have to agree to do otherwise would give the articles in question a significance they don't merit. Too many formed the view that anyone was better than Murray and blinded themselves to the bigger picture.
  3. There's a world of difference between being £18m in debt (and decreasing) + an unquantified prospective tax bill and being £55m in debt and facing an unquantified tax bill.
  4. If Whyte hadn't arrived on the scene I severely doubt if LBG would placed us in administration let alone left us facing liquidation.
  5. We are facing liquidation irrespective of the big tax case.
  6. You seriously think we would be where we are today if Craig Whyte hasn't arrived on the scene?
  7. The £18m term loan was not on onerous terms and was not delinquent it was not the reason for our demise.
  8. Just because I disagree with some things people post doesn't automatically mean I disagree with everything they post.
  9. That may well be their way of keeping our enemies appeased.
  10. Alas a flick through any issue of Private Eye is enough to temper any hope.
  11. I get it from here which appears contradictory to the rest of the statement and does not rule out a CVA.
  12. You can't even make your mind up if gunslinger is a fan or not, so which is it, is he fan enjoying today's news or is he not really a supporter?
  13. It appears HMRC have not ruled out the possibility of a CVA at all but just the one proposed, or am I reading that wrong? http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/news/rangers.htm
  14. As far as I'm aware it needed a successful CVA for the deal to be implemented so the deal will be off, the shares have zero value and zero significance but what happens with the floating charge is another matter one school of thought says that's worthless another school of thought differs.
  15. I honestly do not think that they wanted to be liquidated by HMRC.
  16. Nobody's saying "I told you so" as far as I've seen. You've spent months trying to belittle the few who didn't run with the herd. I'd far rather have a ton of cyber egg on my cyber face than the club I love face liquidation.
  17. Hopefully but we're paying one hell of a f*&king price for that possibility.
  18. I'm led to believe that refers to the fact that HMRC are not convinced that Whyte was not still involved.
  19. But your reading of the actualité through this hasn't been all that great has it?
  20. So have they or have they not said they would have blocked any and all CVA proposals or not?
  21. So HMRC haven't actually said they would have blocked any and all CVA proposals just this particular one involving Charles Green and the mystery men?
  22. Have HMRC actually said such a thing?, the only reference to that that I've seen is from Duff & Phelps.
