Whether I hope he is legally right or not is irrelevant, what matters is the law and we'll see what that has to say soon enough but suffice to say I'll be amazed if the law forces someone to work against their wishes for a company other than the one that employs them.

It wasn't that hard to find out that there was not one example of the "venture capitalist" having never successfully turned round any company, it wasn't hard to discover that his sole modus operandi was screwing creditors.

That Whyte was a shyster pure and simple. I did state it at the time and continued to do so throughout his tenure (and I was far from alone in doing so) but the vast majority simply didn't want to hear it ergo the bannings, the cries of Timmy, Taig, Fenian cunt, Kerryfail accountant yada, yada, yada, that's not with the benefit of hindsight or even claiming the gift of foresight but by a pragmatic look at the facts and drawing a conclusion from that.

Have to agree to do otherwise would give the articles in question a significance they don't merit. Too many formed the view that anyone was better than Murray and blinded themselves to the bigger picture.

There's a world of difference between being £18m in debt (and decreasing) + an unquantified prospective tax bill and being £55m in debt and facing an unquantified tax bill.
