  1. CHARLES Green's attempt to get his newco Rangers into the SPL will take a major step forward on Monday when the governing body is due to receive his formal request to join the top flight.
  2. Sponsors are beginning to pull out of Rangers in support of Walter Smith's bid to buy control from Charles Green.
  3. Can't have a male poster with an feminine username.......
  4. Got one ordered earlier....
  5. One of the investors owns Glenmuir and the Sock Shop. I'd be wary of doing business with the investors companies, I'm not convinced we benefited from dealing with Murray Group companies but they certainly benefited from dealing with us. (Before someone screams PARKS!!!!!! that's been a long standing arrangement)
  6. Irrespective if you favour Green or Walter it makes sense to hold back until various facts and plans are brought forth so we can make an informed judgement.
  7. I'm not convinced it's the correct economic climate in which to start our own retail operation again.
  8. Should never have started while we were in administration and the club was unable to put up a competent defence. One of the sickest sideshows in this whole sorry affair is the way our enemies lined up to kick the sick out of us while we are at our weakest.
  9. Pretty certain it wasn't a personal holding but rather an investment company's. One of the main players in Zeus Capital has been a director of a fair few medical related companies as has Green (haven't cross referenced them yet).
  10. Just watched the interview came a cross as a decent enough guy but was hardly inspiring, seemed a bit of an antidote to Greens blunderbuss style. Of course there is the possibility he's just another Gordon Smith style fig-leaf.
  11. Green's statement on the official site.
  12. Perhaps your correct, but the presence of Craig Whyte obviously made it impossible they clearly feel there's scores to be settled.
  13. Greens intimating Zeus Capital (the company itself) are investors, their investment must be very minor. I can't find anything on Blue Pitch Holdings and the only thing I can link Alessandro Cello to so far is 1508 London Limited which has net assets of -£541,995.
  14. I'm led to believe that he had indeed a couple of bona fide Far Eastern investors but they have dropped out. That's not including the Indonesian banker Rafat Rizvi who may well still be involved.
  15. Zeus Capital are not exactly rolling in the clover http://www.zeuscapital.co.uk/index.php http://www.duedil.com/company/04417845/zeus-capital-limited/financials Latest turnover £1,606,874 which resulted in a loss of £84,977
  16. From Greens statement which is still on the official site, you can't really get much clearer than that. I wouldn't be so quick as to dismiss what the Record said today.
  17. He most certainly didn't.
  18. The fact that Walter is nobody's fool.
  19. Longer than Ian Hart perhaps!
  20. But are they still on board?
  21. The shares of the newco will =100% it in turns owns 100% of the club, at least one investor must presently own over 15%.
  22. I think the Private Eye article out today goes a long way to explain HMRC's attitude, Whyte is the reason. I also think HMRC were of the opinion that there was no value in the CVA proposal at all.
  23. I don't doubt you one bit.
  24. Got to start somewhere, I would guess it will be somewhere between their £10m and Walters £6m.
  25. Think his "investors" will be happy enough to take a quick profit rather than fund the necessary working capital and sustain any losses, if they sell out Green will probably follow rather than hold on and see his holding diluted via the inevitable recapitalisation. I imagine it boils down to the amount of filthy lucre they want and what Walters lot are willing to pay. First bid was a certainty to be rejected.
